The company verified the only leak was on their equipment which I am renting. The repairman told me he could get us a 100 gal refill based on the companies culpability. When the order went through there was no such credit applied and I was informed to get an expedited fill (current temps in the 20's down to single digits at night) would be an extra $300. Frequent calls got me to a call center somewhere in India, Pakistan or some foreign country who told me they could not give me a number in the USA to call. SO much for them being Amerigas, maybe Pakigas or Indigas would be more appropriate. I have been a customer for 12 years, if I had a choice I would switch to another company, they seem to be the only viable game in town so I am screwed.

It reached that in early Dec. so we called for a refill. They scheduled us for mid-Dec. -Jan. 4. They did not come during that time so we called again. Tank was down to 7%, and they said they "would not let us run out." However- they still did not appear. Another call put us on an expedited list. No gas truck. Last call was a promise for a phone call and the truck out by the end of the day. That was yesterday, and I had no gas to cook with last night. They still have not come, and we are completely out. Calls to other companies puts us on the earliest delivery in the first week of February. Thanks, Amerigas; you're another conglomerate which cares nothing for your customers' lives.

During the wind storm we had last weekend, Duke absolutely dropped the ball. Below is my experience…read moreas well as pictures of live wires blocking roadways for almost 30 hours unattended. #1 - the power was out for a total of 44 hours, which is completely unacceptable especially when other people 1/8th of the mile down the road were back up within 7 hours. We werent even provided with any updates and the time was stuck at 10:00 on 3/3/23 as expected time to be resolved, even after we went past that time frame. #2- It took over 27 hours for anyone from the power company to even show up in my area to take a look at anything. Power was lost at 2:30pm on 3/3/23 and the first time I saw anyone out here was at 5:00pm on 3/4/23. Also during this entire time, live power lines were laying in the middle of the roadway as a hazard to have to navigate around to get out of the neighborhood which is absolutely insane. I have pictures to prove this if you would like to see them. #3 - we were finally alerted at 6:00pm on 3/4/23 that the power was restored. We headed home only to find that that was a LIE. Power was still off. We had to re report the outage and was then told it would be noon on 3/5/23 before it would be restored. (finally was restored around 10:30am on 3/5/23 44 hours after outage started). Also, we as of this time, we were the only road in all of canton without power according to the outage map. Why did no one come back until the next day? #4 - due to having no power/heat during wintertime, we had to have a two night stay in a hotel because we have an infant child that cannot stay in that environment. That cost almost $350 itself #5 - due to the power being off for so long, $400 worth of food was spoiled and had to be transported to the dump At the end of the day, we were lied to, forgot about, left with dangerous hazards, and over $750 out of pocket. I am contemplating taking this story to WLOS or another media outlet as this is ridiculous and no one else should have to go through this and Duke should be held accountable to higher standards than what we received as loyal paying customers.

Every step of the way with them has been a wonderful experience for us - from the time we entered the building and met Raine, who is utterly fantastic, to scheduling and drilling phone calls with Joey, to the search for water. Every person I have spoken to has been professional, friendly and has taken time to explain anything I did not understand. We are deeply grateful to Matt Seabolt and Nick who were our well professionals onsite. They drilled 300 feet and found three quarters of a gallon of water per minute (not what we were hoping for). We talked quite a bit with Matt, and decided to drill another hundred feet. We were praying hard for good flow results. However, it had not made a substantial difference at 400. Drill another hundred. Within minutes I had a phone call from Matt who was Soo Excited - at 401 feet - just one foot more! - they hit the mother load - so much water that we could have shared it with our daughter who lives below us!! A miracle! My eternal thanks to Matt Seabolt for his time, his talent, his prayers and his knowledge that has made us now able to build our last home. The two technicians arrived within the time frame promised and quickly assessed and fixed the problem. We gladly paid the weekend rate to get our water restored, but Miller warned us in advance of the rate and gave us the option of delaying until Monday. so, no surprises. All in all very responsive and got our water running quickly. I highly recommend this company - excellent service and very reliable.

I'm a lifetime resident who has had many encounters with the Maggie water department side of things…read moresince they put the water up Jaynes Cove Road. While the office staff has always been pleasant and helpful the same cannot be said about some members of their repair crew. Over these many years we've had countless episodes of them not flushing out the lines after they break despite the fact there is a flush-out valve just above my house. While the district manager always insists they "always do the required flush out" the video included in this review shows they simply do not. If they do flush the lines they do it many hours later once all the "mud" has been pushed through my house. This not only causes the water heater to need replacing every few years but the air that comes through the lines does so with such force that it blows out the valves in the back of my commodes. I've had to replace many of these simply because of the pressure from the air. My most recent blow up though occurred Christmas Eve day 2025 when the water went out yet again due to a line break. I approached the crew in good spirits but when I asked the simple question of when the water would be back online the kid digging down in the hole took it personally and made a smart mouthed comment to which I asked the district manager, who was operating the backhoe, if he was going to put up with his behavior. At this point the manager gestured like he was coming out of the backhoe to physically remove me from standing near the hole as I was talking to his employee. He had requested in a hateful way that I move out of the way even though the backhoe was not in operation during this confrontation. After they finished the work they left a big pile of dirt on the side of the road connected to my property. They have as of yet, March 25, done anything to fix this making it impossible for me to mow that area. They have however repaired another neighbor's area they recently repaired another leak. That leak was a week or so ago and is when the video I've posted was repaired. It's clear that the district manager has a beef with me so here's your review.

I didn't notice anything was amiss until my power went out. The tech had arrived and shut down my power without telling/warning me of what he needed to do. It was super inconvenient given that i was on an important meeting for work. When i lost power I looked outside and saw GA Power tech. I approached him to ask what had happened, and to ask why he hadn't informed me of his plans. He spoke to me in a manner that was at first dismissive, then aggressive. He to my face (and eventually to his supervisor) saying that he had knocked on my door to inform me. Why not just take accountability and apologize? I felt i had to call to complain. I called the customer service line and a representative took my contact info so that a supervisor could call me back. The supposed supervisor called me back to apologize for his rudeness, but gave no reassurance that the tech would get pd around customer service. To add insult to injury guess who saw a huge spike in her usage on the bill for that month? The highest bill I have seen in 3 years. I called to ask for an explanation, but got no joy. Basically they claimed the bill was correct based on the reading from the tech. Smh. I had to just eat it and pay. What else could i do? Good luck folks!
