I don't want to judge all Servpro locations by the mountains, SERV Pro locations. However, this company absolutely screwed us on a three-story water damage leak remediation and repair. They came out instantly the first time I called and they contacted the insurance company and build their services through them. After a week, I asked them to get their equipment out of the house because we were hoping to start the repairs and renovations. But, due to Servpro's communication with the insurance company, our claim was minimized, and we received a fraction of the money to pay for the three stories worth of damage. Weeks later, I contacted Servpro and requested that they come out and do another moisture reading, and provide us with a quote for what it would cost for them and their company to do all of the remediation as well as contractor work. This company kept pushing me off, ignoring my request and claiming that they were to be to come and could not tell me when they would be available or schedule out an appointment. I contacted corporate yesterday to file a complaint and this morning at 8 AM received a call from the gentleman who kept telling me that they couldn't schedule me and that they would get back in touch with me. We are talking about two solid months of these people, not honoring my request or even bothering to give me an appointment out in the future. When Drew from mountains, Servpro contacted me at 8 AM. We had a good conversation at which time I requested the same services and stated that we would be using their company to do everything moving forward. Do you think money would be a motivator for a business such a Servpro. But make no mistake. The general manager called me back by noon and stated that they did not and would not want to come back out to my house or work on this problem. They basically said we don't want to deal with you or your insurance company. We got better things to do. I'm a palled at the way that I was treated and the lack of care and customer service as well as lack of follow up that I received with this company. I am disgusted that I was treated this way because it no point ever have I've been ugly to anyone I've simply called once or twice a week over two months begging for them to come back out. Over that two months we are fairly certain that mold is growing between the floor and ceilings between each floor of the house. My grandmother has had wet cough on and off in the last two months and I have had a severe sinus infection and I am currently battling an ear infection. Lots of fluid in the other ear and an eye infection. I went to the doctor two days ago, and finally got treated by a physician instead of trying to treat myself with holistic products. However, I am fairly certain that this will continue until we are able to find a decent respectable and responsible company that conducts the same type of work. The SERV pro location near me is 7 miles away. Each day I see vans tons of vans sitting in that parking lot. Never leaving. And for a company like this to just tell my family and I they don't want our money and they don't care about our situation after being the first ones on site when the first floor ceiling was raining into the first floor master bedroom. I now know that I will let whatever happens happens, pack a bag and take my family to a hotel, if there were ever to be a future incident such as this. Between Servpro and US AA, our health, and our home are suffering. I would never want this to happen to another family. I have been the full-time caretaker of my 87-year-old grandmother for 11 years and the first two of those I cared from my grandfather as well. I have a 10-year-old daughter who has lived her entire life in a home with her great grandmother, mother, father, and sister. I am astonished & hurt that this business has chosen to turn their back on us leaving us in harms way without even a simple explanation. I will be filing a report with BBB & Servpro corporate. If you care about your home and your family, please find a remediation company that is not Servpro. The last 3 months have been a complete nightmare and 90% of that nightmare has been a direct result of Mountains Servpro!!! read more
