I have favored this concern with my business, dealing with the present owners father.Under this ownership, I went in to try to buy s set of tires and to have some repair work done. Twice in one month this location had caused my bank account to go into NSF because they do not check the equipment rentals in promptly. last instance, i took the van back within right hours. it's there third day and they still haven't checked it back in. each day the uhaul system charges for another day rental. called the location, only one guy does the uhaul rentals and he is never there to take a call. there is only one location in blue ridge that has a cargo van for rent. otherwise i would never go there again or send anyone there for any kind of service. read more

Wish I had read all reviews including Google maps. Paid to patch a tire ($35) and an alignment ($80) for my Audi Q7. Drove 700 miles and came right back a week later to complain about the alignment and was told my worn tires were the problem. Ironically when they test drive it, they noticed the tire pressure was off. Never bothered to check their patch from the week before, which turns out wasn't done either. I have been using this business for years and I absolutely love their honesty and integrity. They do all my tire rotations, oil changes and actual car maintenance. When my car dealership told me I needed new tires, I went to BR Tire to get them. BR Tire and Auto let me know it was too early. When the dealership told me I needed two procedures done, I made an appointment at BR Tire to have them done. When BR Tire began the work they discovered, and let me know, that those two procedures were not necessary at all. And they never charged me a cent for that appointment. They refuse to take unfair advantage of their customers and I appreciate them so much. read more

While on vacation in the area my truck showed a battery warning light. Normally this indicates a failure to charge the battery due to a failing alternator. I called Blue Ridge Tire and Auto on a Tuesday afternoon. While they were busy and could not assist me that day, Rob recommended stopping by O'Reilly auto parts and having a diagnostic run on the truck. That confirmed the alternator was indeed gong bad. after again conferring with Rob, I purchased a new alternator and dropped the vehicle off at 4:30 in the afternoon. Rob had the work completed and my vehicle back to me by ten the next morning. My serpentine belt tensioner broke and I was from out of town. They took care of me promptly and did an excellent job at a fair price.

This place is a scam. They tried charging me 400$ to replace my wheel bearings. I removed my tire and you could tell they didn't even attempt to look at my bearings! I ended up replacing them myself and only cost me 60$. It took not even 2 hours. Place is a scam read more

Wow! What a great and wonderful experience. Was traveling with family on vacation in the area and I bet he way my wife ran over something and it was was caught in my rear wheel axle and decided to give this place a go. I was a bit leary because of what past out of towners experience when something goes wrong with their vehicle and they try and charge you the maximum. Was going to try out another local competitor but they weren't open so tried BR tire and the experience was more than I had expected. Rod was very professional and courteous and showed me that he really wanted to assist. He came out and showed me the piece that was making the noise. It took him about 30min and we were done. My dad has used Blue Ridge Tire for awhile now, but has told me about his LAST visit. I was appalled and honestly a quite pissed off. He waitedfir his turn and got into the shop as all he wanted dine was tires swapped to his daily driver. Not a big job and not a time consuming job. So, after waiting for over TWO hours, inside and out, in the heat, he was wondering what was wrong. Only to find they had his truck on the lift with all tires off and had STOPPED on his job and were working on something else!!!! This is not good business and they had no explanation as why that happened. They didn't seem to care!!! Well, let me just say THAT IS NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! On top of my Dad being a senior, he is also a veteran!!!!! If I could give a negative review, I WOULD! My friend and I just left Blue Ridge Tire and Auto aka Blue Ridge Handy Lube. Despite having serviced her SUV a few days ago, we heard a scraping noise and brought it in. This place had convenient hours, they were the only ones to answer their phone and when we came in they were polite and friendly. The best part is the prices were good and they were fair. There was so pressure to make us pay for services we didn't need. We paid $107 for two new brake pads including service. Thank you! read more
