Just amazing! They went above and beyond. I came in on July 3rd with a flat tire because of multiple nail punctures on the side wall, rendering it unrepairable. They didn't have a tire in stock that fit my car so they ordered a tire for me to be delivered that same day. I was on vacation with my family and needed to be back to spend time with them. The problem was that I wouldn't be back until after they closed. So they allowed me to prepay and come after hours and get my key from a hidden spot. When I came to pick up my car I found the invoice and they had written a not on it. Apparently they had made a mistake and ordered the wrong size tire for my car. But in the shipment there was a higher quality and more expensive tire that would also fit. They had put that on my car at no extra charge. I am so grateful for these guys and highly recommend them. read more

Highly recommend this place. Went in with a tire that was loosing air and told them I thought I needed a new tire. They told me about 30 minutes to get in and maybe another 30 minutes to change. Went across a small area to get something to eat. Came back and they said it was a nail and they patched it for $25.00. I thanked them for their honesty. read more

My experience with Williamson Tire leaves me questioning if I wasn't the target of some sort of scam. The previous evening I did a routine tire pressure check on my car. The next day I went out in the garage and saw my front passenger tire was flat. Thinking I had picked up a nail and had a slow leak on one of my new tires, I aired the tire and went to Williamson Tire (only place I could find open on Saturday afternoon) to have the tire patched. I told the man at the counter my problem. He went to my car to look at the tire. When he came back, he said I needed a new tire (actually 2 because they should be matched) because I had driven the car with the tire flat and the sidewall was ruined. I told the guy that I didn't drive with the tire flat and asked him to fix the tire. He drove my car into the shop. A minute later he rolled a tire into the waiting area. The tire was not wet which means it wasn't checked for a leak. He reached into the tire and removed a handful of ground up tire crumbs. He told me the tire crumbs were because I drove on the tire while it was flat and the tire wasn't fixable. To make a long story short, I finally just told him to just put the tire back on my car and I went home to wait out the weekend. It has been 4 days and the tire is still holding the correct air pressure. I am convinced a stuck valve stem plug was the cause of the air leak and the tire is fine. What happened to me at Williamson Tire still has me baffled. read more

I have been seeing this place up there on the hill for years but never had a need for a tire shop. Haven't actually been up there since it was the seafood place. However I needed someone to mount a tire on a 6 inch wheel. I know many shops won't touch those because of the need to use screwdrivers and other inappropriate methods to mount and demount small tires. I stopped there and met Dylan (Dillon?) who was working on some truck tires. He stopped what he was doing, greeted me very professionally and assured me he could handle the job. He was very polite using "yes sir" and "no sir" where appropriate; He told me his Grandmother instilled that politeness into him as he was growing up. He got right to the task and even had the proper machine to do it safely. He made sure the bead seated properly on the old wheel and that there were no leaks (I decided to leave the tube out this time). His colleague picked out the proper replacement tire and it even cost less than the replacement tire I had brought with me and promptly returned to its source. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and now I'm back in business. I can't close without saying that the lady in the office was just as polite and friendly as Dylan and his colleague were. Great business! Good service is so often not a priority at many businesses, but that is the opposite of Williams Tire. I have done business with them at their Ellijay Tire location and I am so glad they have a location in Blueridge. It is a nice store with a great waiting area and even a place for kids to play. Too often you feel like you are getting ripped off when you buy tires or have mechanical work done, but Williams Tire has always gone out of their way to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable with my purchases. I've came to Ellijay Tire 3 times in the last few months-- to not only change my oil, but my mothers as well. They have phenomenal staff that are always willing to help and are always so friendly. I also stopped into the Blue Ridge location and found the lady at the front desk to be so sweet and helped give me a quote on tires that would work best for my car and my budget. Being that I'm a recent college graduate, it was a breathe of fresh air to have something we usually hate doing (spending money), seem less stressful. What a place! So friendly from when I first called in for pricing, provided straight forward pricing, and didn't require anything to order the tires in. Brought my daughters vehicle in, added an oil change and check brakes. Honesty goes a long way today as most places try to cheat the less informed. Told me brakes were fine with 50% left and did the oil change. Found the air filter really dirty and replaced it without asking first but only charged $13. Probably couldn't buy it myself for that. Will definitely recommend and return for vehicle needs when back up here at our cabin. Very pleased customer. read more

I am from out of town, and man did the dirt /gravel roads do some work on my tires. I woke up to a flat and had to put my doughnut on. Before my 3 hour drive home I wanted a patch and was a little nervous when I didn't see a name I knew, but with not much choice I stopped in. Service was very quick and polite, my tire was patched for a while wopping $18. They even switched my tire and doughnut without me having to asks. I made it home just fine and would happily recommend any out of folks to give them a try if you get a flat. read more

These guys are great!! Looking for a good and honest group of mechanics, then this is the place to go. I've visited two times in the last month for problems with tires on a boat trailer. They checked the tires in both cases, and they did not need to be replaced. There was some work involved in both cases with taking tires off trailer, checking for leaks, and mounting; but they didn't charge anything. We were vacationing in Blue Ridge for the week. On our drive there from home I realized my tires were very out of balance so I decided to balance them before returning home. I checked all the tire shops on Yelp and chose Williams. So glad I did. I arrived just after they opened and they were able to look at my problem in minutes. The service was good, fast, complete and reasonable. They found a problem with loose lug nuts which could have been disastrous. So glad I found them. read more

Went to this tire store and purchased and had installed one Cooper HT plus tire that I spent $210 on with them and after 3 months the treads ran all the way down on a $65,000 mile warranty tire where the other three tires on my car didn't wear it down at all. They took it off and said they were going to send it to the manufacturer and contact me back they never did they replaced it with the only tire they had for my size a yokohana and in a matter of weeks that whole tire literally came off the rim of my car. Took that back and they kept that tire as well and said they would contact me and ask him about the previous tire and they said they hadn't heard anything from the manufacturer. After a couple of months I stopped by today after still not hearing anything and after waiting around for a while they come back and tell me that the first tire the manufacturer said normal wear and tear which is BS as only have the tire 3 months. The second tire the manufacturer supposedly said it was because of insufficient wiring in the belt which is a manufacturer defect but they said the company won't cover the warranty. They said all they could do for me is give me $10 credit to my next tire change with them after spending close to $400 within a three or four months on two tires and not even having the tires to speak of. I do not believe that they even contacted the warranty companies I believe they're screwing me over and I wouldn't suggest this company to anybody. read more

Fantastic customer service! Found the tire on my jeep was almost flat this weekend and after an exhaustive search in the Blue Ridge area Saturday afternoon where the tire repair stores were either already closed or not open at all I stumbled upon Williams tire. I walked into the reception area, asked the courteous young lady at the desk "if" they could fix my tire and I got an immediate YES! Bring it into bay 2 she instructed. Pulling the 33's off of my jeep was no easy task but Dillion was eager and efficient wasting little time taking care of me while also tending to others. His time management was remarkable as I witnessed him moving from one vehicle to another while waiting for "hands off" tasks were going through their operations. 5 stars to Williams Tire, the personable staff, the efficiency they demonstrated and effective resolution of my problem.
