Well, this is not a joke: I placed my first order last year…read morein december, 2016....yes last year. The following happened. After the order was shipped (2 crates for 2 barn doors) UPS apparently lost the order which seems not very uncommon. Now, it would help of course if the shipping department would actually place several labels on it instead of writing on side with a marker the name and skew number. It doesn't take much and the number gets scrapped off...then what? The UPS hub where all the shipments get delivered first is as big as 3 football fields. 160 loading docks/doors...yes, 160...so if you ever have worked for FedeX or UPS you know how quick items get lost. 2nd order gets shipped after I had to complain...this time UPS messes up and delivers wrong item. After we finally receive both doors (3rd attempt) and hang the doors...OMG...the door handles don't line up, one is so crooked I don't even understand to this day how it made past quality control or to the paint department? Unbelievable! Again, I had to complain and was assured the doors will be replaced...which they did, but with shipping it took almost again 2 months and guess what? I only received 1 out of 2 crates and again no shipping labels on the freight. Quality: The doors look very nice but after 8months of this BS I'm sick and tired of it...this is not a "fake news" story but real life. Note: Both Artisan Hardware and UPS are at fault for their mistakes but it could have been avoided with a simple shipping label. Order at your own risk!

Topp Construction (Brandon) is one of the most dishonest companies I have ever had the misfortune…read moreto work with. We paid them $1500 just to find out if our project was feasible or not. We decided not to go w/them since they gave us an estimate that was almost $100,000 more than what we told them we could pay. Months later we received a bill for $6700. As far as we can tell they did absolutely nothing (other than provide an estimate & give us some plans that they drew up that were duplicates of plans that we sent to them). They took us to court & the judge ruled for them. We then discovered that one of Topp Constructions attorneys was a substitute judge for the same court where our hearing was held. In fact the judge hearing our case told some other people in the courtroom what a great substitute judge he was. I got the feeling that our case was decided before it was even started. Can you say coincidence? .....I think not. The contract plainly stated that IF we agreed to go forward (which we did not) that they would bill us bi-weekly. After the initial $1500 we did not receive ANY bill from them until months later for $6700. Apparently the judge didn't seem to think that was a problem & did not hold Topp Construction accountable to that part of the contract. We are not wealthy people & because of the dishonesty of Topp Construction (Brandon & John) we are now out almost $9000 w/absolutely nothing to show for it. Hopefully others can hear of our experience & not go through the stress that we had to. We did NOT hire them, all we were asking for was whether the job was feasible or not. I hope this review will prevent this from happening to anyone else.
