The treatment ended up being a brief 30-minute arm and hand massage, and the warm neck wrap smelled sour. The space itself felt run-down and uninviting. Overall, the lack of customer service and poor atmosphere make this a place I would not recommend. This is my updated response to the owner: As I mentioned in my review, I called ahead twice and was told it was fine to arrive as soon as possible. When I arrived, I was the one who suggested modifying or changing my service so as not to inconvenience other customers. Regarding the neck pillow you described as "herbal," it did not have a pleasant or herbal scent like Zheng Gu Shui or Ling Nam. It smelled damp, as if it had been left in the washing machine without being properly dried. I understand that Valentine's Day is a busy time. However, professionalism and courteous communication are especially important during peak times. If you hope to retain current and future customers, I believe improving in these areas would make a meaningful difference.

I show up for my appointment and the lady says I'm not in her book. I show her the confirmation email and she says she has costumers at 10 so I say that's okay my appointment is at 10:15 I'll wait. She then stares at me. So I say "oh are you saying you can't take me?" She said yes we have costumers. So I leave. The upsetting part was my spouse went in to talk to them about the booking and they said nothing. They did nothing to try to switch my appointment, offer a genuine apology or anything. Why offer online booking, and a confirmation if no one will actually check the bookings and confirmations. We drove 45 minutes to Pleasantville to get the treatment (I work in the area and saw it had good reviews so wanted to try it out, so we drove a distance on the weekend). So no real apology, no offering to rebook, nothing. I would've accepted the mistake and rebooked in person, but they didn't even offer that to my spouse or I. They just stared at us and said they wouldn't take me. I wouldn't even bother booking here again. Since I work in the area and all of coworkers knew I would be going here for a scalp massage, I will be sure to tell them don't bother. Many of them said they would try it out if I liked the service.
