Very disappointing experience. I was there on Valentine's Day and couldn't get relaxed. The workers were moving around obnoxiously making so much noise. As I was laying on my back looking at the ceiling, there were stains everywhere...gross. In addition, the man in the front was having a conversation with a customer about closing their spa. Made me very uncomfortable. I will NEVER go back to this disgrace of a business. I should not be hearing conversations at the front desk. I think they are closing, which is actually a good thing. If you are looking for a good massage in a professional environment, this is not the place to go. This was one of the best massages I've ever had! The staff was super friendly, the space was calming, and everything felt clean and professional. I like firm pressure, and even though I usually prefer male massage therapists, the woman I had was incredible. She had strong hands, was really intuitive, and even included a relaxing face massage. Came her right when they opened for a chair massage for 30 mins. Masseuse was great rough when she needed to be on my problem areas and checked in to make sure I was ok through out the session. This place is a treasure! It's a professionally-run operation that actually does what a spa is supposed to do - relax you. No obnoxious music, no cramming of people into areas only separated by curtains, no masseuses with zero expertise. They also don't try to upsell you on tips, but are instead very appreciative and kind. Very courteous guy who runs it, spacious, private rooms, very clean, perfect atmosphere, and usually the gals are quite skilled and attentive to your needs, including walking on your back should you choose. Naturally the quality depends on the individual masseuse, but I've had good luck in the many times I've been there. Lisa's is the ideal spa for bodywork. I opted for 120 minutes, due to a shoulder injury, and "Rose" did a magnificent job of working out much of the knot caused by that fall. Couples massage Now I'm not really one to write a review but this particular situation has me doing otherwise. So when picking a location for a relaxing couples retreat you take care in reading other's reviews and choose a location that will make for a memorable experience. With great care this was done and the date was set. The name of the establishment even had the word peaceful in its name but let me tell you my friends it was anything but. We arrived early for our date as we were excited to start our date day. We were greeted at the door and asked to follow a nice woman who scurried ahead of us with the speed of a cartoon mouse leaving us in a maze of hallways and doors. As we fumbled along this dimly lit escape room setting an ominous glow appeared from our romantic escape. Inside was two beds that must have been reclaimed from the psych wards embalming room and a water feature located in the drop ceiling tiles above. The mood was set and reminded us both of all the great times we had as life started to flash before our eyes. Now any normal person would have turned around and high tailed it out of there but we are no quitters. We disrobed and decided to make the best of it. Two shadowy figures entered the room and this is where things got worse. The massage began with such ferocity that you felt as though you were taking the full force of a lifetime of anger. Now I feel as though I have a high tolerance for pain but no massage should require anesthesia. As she worked her way down my back removing all muscles from the bones I felt as though I was ready to be the newest attraction on the bodies exhibit. She took extra care in rupturing both kidneys right before handing me what will hopefully be the last wedgie I will ever receive. While hiking my undies deep inside a tourniquet was formed cutting off the circulation to my slowly dwindling manhood. I don't know if you knew that the standard practice for pressure points was to jam your elbow into them until you hear a whimper but here it was. Next came the hot stones that required a schmelting apparatus and a soon to be burn victim. As the smell of burnt skin filled the room also did the sense of relief knowing that this torture session was halfway over. She gathered the hot towels that were either of a horrible thread count or were solely made out of pumice. Since the muscles, manhood, organ function and ability to move were already removed why not take the skin as well. Once I managed to roll over to finish the exorcism I was able to use the last remaining function of my body, speech. She went to preform a maneuver that only a highly trained chiropractic physical therapist should do. I was able to stop her before she was able to paralyze me. I guess this offended her so she decided to take it out on me with a deep tissue massage of my receding hairline. I never knew that between your skin and skull was a layer of tissue that needed such deep care. The only thing that was missing was a war cry as the scalping was complete. The final thing to do was to karate chop the thighs. At this point I have regained blood flow to my nether regions, which were so perfectly placed atop my leg like a thief of mid evil times awaiting a beheading, so with the precision of a slap chop she went Chuck Norris on my ass. I felt like the headliner at a mass Bris. If ever there was a happy ending it was when the clock struck 90 minutes ending what will forever be a memorable date day. In conclusion I highly recommend this establishment if you are into bondage or the loss of bodily fluids. read more

My partner and I came in for a couples' massage and liked the fact that this place is nicely kept and quiet. However, we had to wait 20 minutes for an appointment we were on time for. When we were led back to our room, upon entering, I noticed the room was a bit chilly. Keeping in mind I was going to undress to only my underwear, I didn't agree with the temperature. Nonetheless, I got ready for the massage. We were greeted by a male and female... which was displeasing since I had requested two females. My massage from the male was a bit rough, but ok. Simply ok. I had to request for the lights to be dimmed and there was no soothing music playing which puzzled me being there had been music playing in the lobby/waiting area. All I heard was the clock ticking.
