I was referred by the Mountain Family Center to Jenn P. at Blue Sky Massage in Winter Park. It has been a true blessing in my life! I have been getting lymphatic drainage massages with Jenn approximately every 5 weeks over about a nine month period. Jenn has a healing touch that has affected my health in such a positive way. For example, massage has dramatically improved my surgery related pain, mobility in my arm, and the healing of my scar tissue. While she is massaging me, I can physically feel my lymphatic system flowing. If I have congestion, she can clear it and my discomfort subsides. She was very attentive to my areas of need (hips, neck, shoulders) and the work she did to open up my hips and psaos (which she informed me about) was a true release. As a results oriented massage place don't expect any spa type extras, but rooms were clean and private and the service was impeccable. I had 90 minutes of Deep Tissue with Tim. I'm a seasoned recipient of massage for well over 25 years, all around the world. Hands down, Tim is in my TOP 3 WORLDWIDE! I knew it in the first 5 minutes, when he started to manipulate my neck, this was not going to be a regular massage....This was CRAFT. ARTISTRY. ANATOMY. TECHNIQUE! I came in with concrete pumping throughout my veins...I left a complete noodle!! Tim owned every knot and masterfully manipulated them out of my body! I'm sure he's great if you need a lighter touch too, but if you can honestly handle deep tissue, this man has skills that, I promise, you've never experienced. After almost 30 years of visiting Grand County to ski at spring break and to fish in late July, we finally bought a small second home in Grand Lake this year! After spending most of this week working on the place, I sought a good massage therapist to restore comfort and good humor. A great prospect here in Grand Lake proved to be too popular for my schedule, as I'm returning home over a week before her first opening! What else? I fired up Yelp and searched the area to find Blue Sky, more particularly Sheila DuCharme. She had a single opening yesterday, it fit my schedule perfectly and I was rewarded with as great a massage experience as I've had anywhere. Anytime! Sheila actually read the questionnaire I filled out, asked a couple of questions then proceeded to treat me as if I'd been coming in every other week for years! She did falsely accuse me of relaxing to the point of sleep, but since I don't really snore I knew she was making it up, and I can overlook that for such a perfect massage experience. Therapeutic and relaxing massage: can a massage be both - yes! I had my massage with Sheila DuCharme and she is wonderful! I have back and neck from the dreaded laptop syndrome and some hip issues from a hip replacement. She identified muscles that needed to release - no other massage therapist has ever done this. I left this massage feeling great, muscles loosened, and very little soreness. She also is extremely knowledgeable and provided advice on body position and stretches to help keep my trouble-muscles healthy. I strongly recommend! Full disclosure, I am a regular. That could mean four times a month, especially when I am trying to move past an injury. A week ago I saw Sheila. Today I saw Tim. To say that I feel "healed" when I leave, understates the effect. Surgery has been prescribed for my injury by several specialists, but I held out and incrementally have moved past the issue. Massage when you are on the road is a bit of hit or miss. My experience was luke warm. Yes good to get a message but asked for deep tissue but got a Swedish. Asked twice for more pressure and at pressure points and no real change. Natalie used hot towels that provided more relief than her massage. I would not go there again read more

Highly recommended! I got a 90 minute massage on Thursday June 11th, 2015. Sheila Ducharme was my massage therapist. From the second that I met her, I knew I was in good hands. After a very brief discussion, Sheila knew exactly what I needed, and then gave me one of the best massages I've ever had, and I've had many. Sheila mostly uses her strong hands and fingers to knead the muscles, which I prefer to a therapist that mostly uses forearms and elbows. Huge difference.. If you have chronic muscle tightness & imbalance that will not release, Blue Sky Massage is the place to go. I'm not going to tell you it will be a "feel good" massage of a lifetime, but I can tell you it will very effective in helping release the muscles that are creating the imbalance and pain. Several times they have helped me recover from injury that was crippling. Their recommendations of how to change how I do things (like packing out a camp) with the reasons my technique is aggravating the situation have been a life changer.
