On a hot day they took my call for a bad windshield crack...responded quickly and took care of…read moreeverything making me know I made the right choice....I highly recommend their expertise....

I contacted Dennis to receive a quote to have my windshield replaced. He asked me a few questions…read moreabout my car and quoted me a price of $285 + taxes. I said I was just researching at this time but would call him back if I decided to go with him. I ended up calling him a few weeks later. He was surprised by the quote I repeated that HE gave me but proceeded to ask me the same questions as before about my car. He asked for the VIN number and said he would research and get back with me on a final price. When he did it was $301 (plus change)- that included tax. I agreed to the price and we set up the day to have it replaced. He called that day and said his new hire never showed up and he would have to reorder the windshield and send someone else the next day. The next day the contractor shows up, takes out my windshield and discovers the one they ordered is the wrong one. Dennis calls and says the new one will be more (over $400). I countered that price by saying that was not what I agreed to and was not willing to pay that price. He proceeded to say I gave him wrong information and so did the dealership. I argued that I provided him accurate information based on the questions he asked me and the VIN number which when he did his research should give him any other information he needed. He said he is taking $15 off and taking a hit by giving it to me for $400 something plus taxes. Continued to make excuses. He also had the audacity to say that if things went as planned I would be writing him a good review and now I'm upset and probably won't! I concurred that of course I was upset and asked if he was the owner of the business. He replied no- he is one of the managers. I said if he wasn't going to honor the price he quoted me I wanted the name and number of the owner. He gave me his name but refused to give me his number. He said he would contact him for me. He was out of town. I said even if he is out of town he can take a phone call. Still he refused to give me his number. He said he will have "Todd" call me. Todd did call me later that night and said Mazda dealership wouldn't provide them the right information and were the worst to work with and they don't like doing cars like Mazdas. I asked why Dennis didn't share that when giving a quote and add they may run into issues? He contradicted himself by saying they had no way of knowing this would happen (???). He ended by saying they would research it more and suspected the dealership is trying to pull one over on them to make some money and would have an answer for me the following day. Today the same contractor shows up with the new windshield to install and knows nothing of the issues I was facing the day before. I ask him to wait so I can make contact with Todd. When I call Todd he doesnt remember me from the night before and I had to remind him of our conversation. His response is that he needs a minute to call Dennis. While I'm waiting I explain to the contractor what is going on and he shares they hate doing business with Dennis because they typically run into issues alot. He showed me the price of the windshield and what his fee is to install and if Dennis or Todd won't give me the original quote he'll take care of me. It was $335. Todd calls me back - makes the same excuses about the dealership. I say non of that is my fault. They should honor the price they quoted me. Once I gave the VIN number it was Dennis' responsibility to get the right information. He said he would call Dennis again. Dennis calls me and says Todd has to go out of town and needs him to handle this. (???? - remember he told me the day before Todd was out of town). He refused to budge on his price. Said they would have to take a hit. I felt and said that he should take care of the customer, own his mistake and take accountability for his error and if that meant they had to take a hit then so be it. I agreed to do business with based a price he gave me. That would be doing good business. He said he can't do that. I said I didn't want to do business with him. He asked what would I be doing then and I replied it wasn't his problem now and he doesn't need to know. I didn't even want to give this rating one star. Thank goodness the contractor from Source Auto saved the situation by helping me out and giving me a fair price. He was professional and nice and did a great job. Thank you Alexis!!
