No call, no shows TWICE! Also getting ahold of someone is difficult. After being shuffled around to the shop they had no reason for the no shows. They did try to get me to come into the shop, but I couldn't take off work for 3 hours for my car to be fixed. Service was great overall. But it took way longer than originally quoted. On top of that, when I picked up the vehicle it wasn't calibrated to completion. Other than that they did a great job. Had to have MB complete the calibration. read more

Had my son's windshield replace on Thursday 10/30. It was not sealed properly, there was glass all over the dash and the wipers wouldn't work. Not pleased. Made an appt for them to come back out today. The technician did a great job fixing all of the issues, apparently the technician that came out originally was new. While I spent the weekend pretty peeved, was happy with the response I received to get everything fixed. read more

I have an older vehicle that needed a windshield replacement. I went online, selected my vehicle, and scheduled the install for a couple of weekends out. I kept getting notifications and reminders of the installation date, and the night before--14 hours before the appointment---I'm called and told they won't be coming out because my vehicle is older than 2005. Okay, I get that they don't want to work on vehicles older than 20 yrs old for a number of reasons, but if that's the case...why do they allow you to select a vehicle of that age and schedule the appointment, AND PAY? Now I have to try to fight with them to get a refund because they surely didn't discuss that in the call and I was too gobsmacked to ask. Suffice to say I don't think I'll be considering Safelite for any of my glass needs in the future. read more

As a final update, after over two more weeks of my insurance company and me being lied to, I was authorized to take my car to the dealerships collision center. Safelite kept saying the windshield was on national back order. Well, as I confirmed many times, that is untrue. I paid for the windshield today and it will be to the collision center Friday. Please stay away from the Frisco location and the company entirely. I truly wish I didn't have to give them any stars to submit this review. read more

They send a good quote on the aftermarket windshield first then, after you book an appointment with the VIN #, they send you an adjustment for the recalibration for $495!! Total came up to $887. I called the Ford dealer and they can do the same replacement, with an actual Ford windshield for $917. For $30 more, I'd rather go for the manufacturer windshield and recalibration! The windshield is more expensive but the recalibration is $199. But Ford will not do the recalibration unless it is a Ford windshield, which Safelite knows, they give you a cheap price on the aftermarket windshield they rip you off on the recalibration!!! People be aware! If you are going to use Safelite, pay the extra $30 and go to the manufacturer! Or call other people, I just made an appointment with Fast Glass Auto for $650 and they are mobile. read more

And now they want to charge us for their screw up. The manager is unhelpful and a jerk. This place deserves zero stars for the horrible customer service. I had a frustrating experience with this location. My original appointment was on Friday, 05/30 at 10:00 AM. I arrived at 10:10 AM with my Tesla charged at 59%, and I was told by Millie that it needed to be at 60%. I went to supercharge and returned at 12:30 PM, only to be informed at 1:18 PM via phone call that they didn't have the windshield in stock--something that could have been checked earlier. They rescheduled me for 06/03 at 8:00 AM. I arrived on time at 8:05 AM. Millie was again difficult to deal with and unnecessarily argumentative about the windshield. Fortunately, I spoke directly with the technician who was much more reasonable and calmed the situation. After waiting in the lobby for several hours, another technician came around 11:30 AM and told me they were missing the jumper cable required to complete the Tesla windshield installation. He admitted that I should have been informed about this ahead of time. I ended up wasting my entire morning, and Millie was nowhere to be found during that time. Overall, very poor coordination, lack of communication, and unprofessional handling of the situation. I would not recommend this location to other Tesla owners. read more

This appointment was as smooth as could be. I went in wondering if I should just do the drop off and come back, I thought I was going to be spending a whole morning there so I brought all my work stuff. An hour of me getting into my emails my car was done! The service was professional especially with the automated SMS updates so I didn't miss my appointment were a bit much, but I get it. Quick and a job well done! I believe my technician was Kenneth, great work ethic, very friendly, and efficient. Would be happy to suggest this company and his service as it has been a month now and everything is working as normal, no leakage or errors. On a plus side the two service reps in the office were polite and friendly to converse with and make the trip to stay enjoyable. read more

at first my windshield replacement seem to go smoothly. I made an appointment and they replaced my windshield promptly and efficiently. At that time I responded to their survey with all good reviews. However, four days later, my rearview mirror bracket fell apart in my rearview mirror was dangling. I brought my car in without an appointment and they worked me into their schedule to fix it. Even though I had to wait an hour for a seemingly quick fix, I was satisfied that they were taking care of it. However, a few days later, I was driving and the bracket, and the review mirror fell off again! when I called the store directly, there was no one to answer the phone and no way to leave a message. When I called the main customer service number, again there was no one answering the phone and I was not able to leave a message. These calls were made at 9:40 AM on a Monday morning, so this was frustrating. I suspect that either someone does not know how to attach a rearview mirror, or they broke it and don't want to admit it. Whatever the situation, it is frustrating and my patience is running out. read more

Unethical business practice, period. Got routed to Safelite Frisco through my auto insurance for a windshield replacement. Appointment set for Tuesday. Tech showed up with a defective glass; he was asked by the shop to still show up to see if the customer would accept it. Apparently he's got a full truck of rejected glass, so it's their common practice. Who would accept defective glass in the first place? No big deal, glass declined. Tech said Safelite would call to reschedule, OR I could drive all the way down to Plano WITHOUT an appointment to get it done. Wednesday came, no call. Thursday, I decided to drive all the way down to Plano only to be rejected because I was now supposed to have made an appointment. Held my temper, made an in-home appointment again for Friday from 12pm to 5pm. Guess what, 2pm no call. I called Plano, and they said I was scheduled but not routed. I told the woman on the phone to cancel the whole thing. She didn't even try one bit to make it right. Just silence and a casual "it's cancelled" and that was it. Three days wasted. read more

Finally got it rescheduled then he fixed the glass but broke my rear view mirror in the process. Then waited 3 weeks for them to come out to fix the rear view mirror and he came out again... said he fixed it and left. Only to find out that is NOT fixed and the rear view mirror is still so wobbly that I can't see out of it while driving. Called and they said sorry there is no manager. This place is an absolute disaster. They will waste your time through their total lack of professionalism. I had made an appointment for a replacement on Friday at 4 PM. When I arrived, I was told it was going to take an additional 3 hours to calibrate the safety features of my vehicle. I left the keys and was looking for an Uber back home ($35 + tip at that time - 45 minutes from where I live). Within 5 minutes, I get a call that "for some reason, the glass isn't in". So I pick up the keys again and re-booked the appointment for noon the next day. When I arrived on Saturday, they confirmed they had the windshield and I left my keys. At 3:30 PM, I called the number listed in Google Maps and it was answered by their call center. They tried to call the store, but both numbers they had on file were not picked up. Since the store closed at 5 PM, I decided to head back to the store and wait. Upon arrival (4:30 PM), I found my vehicle sitting in the parking lot without a new windshield. Apparently, the windshield they had in the store was scratched and they had someone drive around to the other store (Plano) to find a new one. They didn't think it was necessary to give me a call in those 4.5 hours. But the receptionist told me I could get online and get a $100 coupon and reschedule. Needless to say, I won't be using Safelite again. They wasted over 6 hours of my time. They charge $250/hour for the time driving a vehicle around to recalibrate. But I won't be getting anything other than some weak excuses for my lost time due to their unprofessionalism and lack of accountability. I don't believe I've been to a place worse than this one. These people broke the overhead console on my elderly father's Porsche and tried to SUPERGLUE it back (?!?!). When my dad obviously pointed out that that's not ok, they said they'd order the part to fix it. He's called and physically visited multiple times at his own expense. Still no part after a month, they even acted like they didn't know if it had been ordered after a month! My dad ended up taking it to the dealership to be fixed. Safelite said they would pay for it. The car is STILL SITTING THERE AT THE DEALERSHIP UNPAID FOR. Safelite has completely ghosted him on the $6,000 bill. DO NOT GO HERE, COMPLETELY UNTRUSTWORTHY. read more

This company (Frisco, TX) is absolutely terrible. They no-showed the appointment, and when I called to find out what happened, the guy put me on hold until the office closed and left.
