While they were doing it, they popped up the window.Because it's a convertible that's how they make it fit. In doing so the prop was leaning on the button that made the convertible go up and down. It burned up that motor. They said that they did not do it and they refused to fix it. We will never recommend them and never use them again. read more

When I questioned that they didn't fix it AT ALL, the main gentleman who runs the place Abdul laughed and wouldn't speak to me anymore. He went inside and sent a different man to speak to me who said "I don't even work here, I'm just helping them out". dont waste ur time. payed over $600 for all window regulators, only fixed 1 and they didnt even install the window in correctly cuz it popped out not 3 days of having the car back. went back 3 times so they could fix it and i was told it was "fixed" just for the regulators to sound like they're about to die. the whole thing seemed sketchy. I took my Expedition in to get a third row passenger window taken off and put back on because it was leaking at the seal. After they did the job, I drove out of the parking lot and right back in because I could here something hitting the window. The man at the front got in and drove with me, and could hear it as well. He had the shop guys take it off again and put it back on. He said it was fine. The sound is still there months later, so I took it to a mechanic, who said that when they took off the window, they broke off the tab connector to the grid. The prongs it connects to is what keeps hitting the window now. Sadly, they did a bad job on the adhesive they used to put the window back in, as it is visibly not flattering on the outside. Also, I was not aware there would be an extra charge to pay via debit card. I was prepared to pay cash, but they told me to put in my card, so I assumed they only took card. When I got my receipt, I noticed the extra fee to pay via card. I am not a happy customer and would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Made a lot of calls, either I had to wait a week to get in (not an option to have no window when you live in Uptown and it's August and 100 degrees) or it was $900+ to repair. I called these guys, I gave him Make and model and he said come in this afternoon and we'll get the glass replaced. I was there less than an hour. The staff was very unprofessional and rude. They charge extra if you use a credit card instead of cash. A business that only wants to use cash in 2023 seems suspect to me. They did not tell me when I made the appointment that they would charge extra if I used a credit card. Seems like a way to just get extra money from the customer. If a business cannot afford the fees associated with credit card transitions that should be a red flag. Just a few days after my windshield was installed a crack formed under the seal on the top of the glass and appeared to be from the installation. I took my vehicle back to the shop where a tech looked at it and confirmed there was not an impact from a rock or foreign object. When he went back inside the office manager said there was a chip and they were not at fault for the damage and said they would not honor their warranty on the glass. When I raised my concern a person who identified himself as the owner (would not provide his name) checked the glass again and then claimed there was a chip and was very rude and kept asking me if I was sure nothing hit the glass, said this happens to Jeeps a lot, etc. He was extremely condescending and talked down to me the entire conversation. The damage was very clear to start under the seal and appears there was something under the seal that caused the tension and the broken window. So less than a week later I had to replace my windshield again with a different company that appears to have a better moral compass and was not rude. PROS: - The Mysafe Glass technician arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. He finished installing my new window in no time. - Originally, he told me it was not their job to clean up the broken glass from pulling out my window. However, after saying that, he did offer to clean up the glass if I would get him a broom. CONS: - Upon completion of services, the technician asked for my credit card and started dialing on his phone. I assumed he was calling the company office to run my credit card. I asked him if I could be the one to make the call so I would know who exactly is getting my information. HERE'S WHERE IT GETS SKETCHY: He told me that the office was closed and I wouldn't be able to speak to anyone (even though business hours on Yelp say that they didn't close for another 2 hours). So I asked what was he originally planning on doing with my credit card and his phone. He said he was going to type in my credit card number, save it, and run it at a different time. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that option. At this point, he became defensive and things went downhill quickly. He said he does many jobs a day and customers give him their credit card numbers without any hesitation. He tried to prove his point by showing me a customer's personal check (not exactly apples to apples). He didn't understand why I was being so cautious with him and continued to just talk instead of listen to where I was coming from. I tried to explain to him, but he continued to be condescending and rude. He implied that I was overreacting because I didn't want to let him write down my credit card number. Finally, I just asked him if he would be comfortable letting a clerk at a gas station or a waiter at a restaurant write down his credit card number and run it later. He said he wouldn't be comfortable with that either. After some more back and forth, he finally busted out a Square credit card reader! I asked him why the hell he didn't do that in the first place?! He said it was his personal Square and not the company's. He said the company does not provide technicians with Squares and that he was going to have to take a 3% loss by using his personal Square (which shows up on your credit card as Saber Auto Glass by the way). ALL OF THIS BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO LOSE 3%?!?! We finally finish the transaction and the technician leaves. I head inside to call Mysafe Glass to tell them about my experience. Someone answered the phone even though the office was said to be "closed". The guy I spoke to said that he didn't have anything to do with the window/glass department and that I should call the owner when he returns from being "out of the country". The guy I spoke to on the phone even laughed when I told him about the experience I just had. Man, what a couple of stand-up business guys! I often try to support smaller, local businesses as much as possible. They occasionally offer better deals (which is why I chose Mysafe Glass in the first place) and provide better service because it's their own name, their own business, and their own livelihood at stake and not someone else's. Today, this company shat on me in return for my support. I hope you have a better experience than I did, should you choose to give Mysafe Glass a chance. Just be sure to pay with cash, check, and if you must use a credit card.... don't you dare question what the technician is going to do with your credit card number just to save himself 3%.
