I had my windshield replaced by Done Right today (4/28/2026). When I picked it up I noticed a 1 1/2 inch scratch on the "a pillar". The scratch was all the way down to bare metal. I showed an employee the issue and he took pictures of the damage. A few minutes after I left the business I received a phone call from them. I was told there was no way they caused the damage. They offered to let me come watch a video of the installation, but I declined. The scratch was obviously done with a sharp instrument and wasn't there before they replaced the windshield. In January 2025 I took my wife's SUV to them to replace the windshield. When picking it up, my wife noticed a big chunk missing from the door panel near the a pillar and a nick on the a pillar, both obviously caused by a sharp instrument. They did have me bring the vehicle back to them to repair the door panel damage. Since they won't take responsibility for the damage they caused today, I'm having to file another claim with my insurance company. I bought the vehicle new and have never had the windshield replaced. I wouldn't recommend using this company. read more

On the basis of Yelp reviews, I went to Done Right Auto Glass on Wed, 10/2/2024, for a "star" about the size of a nickel on driver's side. It was a reasonably quick fix, but it took more like an hour instead of the 20 minutes. I paid $70 cash. The fix promptly spread within 24 hours. It had 2 cracks that went horizontally from the original star to about the size of half dollar. I called and told them of the problem and they requested I come back in. I took it back in within an hour. The technician reviewed it and acknowledged the issue and reported it back to the office manager. The office manager said they could only credit my cost towards the replacement of a new windshield. The attached warranty, which I signed, did not have that stipulation anywhere on the document. I reminded him of that, but he mentioned something about a verbal notice which was not conveyed. I indicated my total unhappiness with the situation, but it was like talking to a wall. If you really want your windshield "done right", don't waste your time with Done Right Autoglass. read more

This place popped up on our search and glad we came here. The service is phenomenal and we came in at a great time (10:30am We'd.) because there was no line, no long wait. It took 15 -20 minutes and we were out the door. Our vehicle State inspection is not due until August of 2018, but in Illinois totally different regulations that Te as, so we came in to get our vehicle's State Inspection so we could transfer our vehicle from Illinois to Texas and get our DL and you cannot do either without the other. They also do tint at their other location, so we will surely take our vehicle there as being in this Texas heat with the summer approaching, we need that done. I highly recommend this place. Another thing that I want to point out, is that they have a vintage video arcade, that took me back to when I was a child and teen and you could find them EVERYWHERE you go, yup this was a great way to spend my time while we waited for our service to be completed. Quaint establishment, with great service. They offer Vehicle State Inspections, windshield replacements and window/windshield chip repairs. Location is very convenient, although it was a bit confusing bc they have another shop with the same name just a few more miles West on E. University Drive but this was closer to us. After the repair, my wife went on a road trip, and came back telling me the noise in the front end was louder that ever; upon inspection, I found that the clamps attaching the sway bar, had only been partially attached. He was friendly with an amazing sense of humor that rattled off Jokes with Southern accent that lightened the dark cloud I was feeling. I had good sized chip in my windshield that I was hoping to get repaired, but due to location, size, and type of chip it was unable to be repaired. It was the month before Christmas, so they suggested since it was on the passenger side, to save my money for Christmas and that I wait until it was impairing my vision before replacing the windshield.
