    Brisket sandwich with fries
    Pamela V.

Before getting to this restaurant, we checked out the menu online. We were very excited with the variety of menu items. When we arrived, there were only a few tables filled so we were sat pretty quick. The decor is ok. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich and I ordered a chicken club grilled cheese. The fries were excellent. The sourdough bread was grilled and buttered well. The brisket was ok, nothing special. Unfortunately our witness entered my order wrong, so I didn't have a chance to photograph or eat. I had to get it to go.

Can you say, ADULT DROP OFF SPOT. LOL. I went with my wife, and our other couple friend. Javier doesn't like shopping, Juanita does. So they invited us, but I wanted to drink a beer. So they suggested NORTHSTAR Mall. I was kinda happy to go, since I have been there in years. Plus my wife has never been there. Well. We ended up at Blue star brewing Kiosk. Too cool, the kiosk had beer, wine, margaritas. So you can get other things than beer. Best part about ordering beer at the kiosk, you don't have to just drink it there, you can walk around. And it's air conditioned in there. The service was great, bartender was very friendly, and he would play some music for you. Javier and I both started with a stout. It has a great flavor, loved looking at it roll in the glass, like a Guinness. I also had a King Violet, it is two beers mixed. Very delicious, but I could only handle no more than two. Very delicious.

Always fun to stop and try a flight of beers. They were delicious! We decided to get a bite to share & split a grilled cheese sandwich and cup of tomato basil soup. The soup was delicious, the sandwich full of melted American cheese. My husband commented it was the first grilled sandwich he ever had that wasn't grilled! It was toasted fresh bread, I loved it. The place wasn't packed but the waitstaff was MIA or the rating would be higher.

Beer, wine and pizza...what's not to love about The Growler Exchange?…read more For those of you who have never been to this amazing business before, The Growler Exchange is a tap room and restaurant which carries a huge variety of unique beers, as well as some of the most delicious pizza you've ever had in your life. I've been a regular at this restaurant for 5 years and I can tell you that quality has stayed the same throughout the years. I also appreciate that they now have a bigger variety of wines and you can also buy beer and wine to-go. If you are looking to try their amazing pizza, their most popular pie (and my husband's favorite) is their Mike's Special which is a red sauce pizza with mozzarella, pepperoni, bacon and topped with honey drizzle. However, if you prefer something spicy (like I do), I highly recommend their Spicy Meat Sweats which is also a red sauce pizza with mozzarella, garlic sausage, pepperoni, salami, bacon and topped with some very spicy chili oil. Hope everyone gets to try this amazing local business, and don't forget to bring your growler with you! PSA for the parents: They do welcome kids, and they even have a changing station in the women's bathroom.

I genuinely thought this was going to be a sports bar vibe, and I was pleasantly surprised to find…read morethat it was a Biergarten and almost pub vibe I was meeting a friend for happy hour and some bites, and we landed on the spot. I will say the GPS got a little confused in the route for some reason and I nearly missed an exit and even the entrance (there was some construction going on) There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot was pretty full. You walk up and either walk through the courtyard style Biergarten with tables or you can go inside. It was an unseasonably nice day, so, we opted to sit outside There is a QR code to view the menus. There are entrees and plenty of apps/sharables. There is also a very extensive beer menu. Make no mistake, this is their bread and butter. They boast an imprecise "99 beers on tap." There's local brews, light and dark beers, hoppy, Belgium style, German style, wheat, etc etc etc. if that's not your speed there are cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Our server was fantastic. She was very kind and patient with us. We were constantly checked in on, but not in a hovering way or a pressure to leave. Our food and drinks always came out in a timely manner. She made us feel well taken care of The drinks hit the spot, and the food was tasty. It was definitely a chill vibe/hang. We were there for hours just catching up, and we saw other happy hours, birthday parties, dates, bachelorette parties, etc Some tips: I did order a couple beers that they were temporarily out of, but there are so many beers to pivot to. Also, our server was incredibly helpful in offering other suggestions, similar suggestions, and asking the right questions to help land in the next alternative They are not open Mondays, and they're only open until 11pm Tuesday-Thursday (and Sunday). Friday and Saturday they're open til 1am. Also, on Saturdays and Sunday's they offer brunch from 11am-3pm) The Reuben was surprisingly delicious Cheers!!

This place was an unexpected surprise. I had never been here before but I'm glad my friends…read moresuggested it. The drink prices are great, the atmosphere is cool & the crowd is chill. There was a DJ playing a great variety of music. There's plenty of seating at tables & around a large bar. There's even upstairs seating. This is an all around great place but what makes this bar 5 stars isn't the drinks or the atmosphere, the bartenders make this place 5 stars!!! Our bartender was Jess (Jessica) & she was a firecracker! (In the best way!) She was friendly, had the best personality & made us laugh so hard! One might say she was "charismatic"! A lot of bartenders ask you what you want, make your drink, take your credit card, hand you your bill & walk away. I call this lazy service! Not here! Jess is the kind of bartender that you want to be friends with! She KNOWS how to mix a great drink & she actually gives you service w a smile... while making you laugh! If you can walk away from her not loving your drink & not wanting to go back to her for your next drink & some laughs.... Trust me, It's YOU... not her. Ally was working the bar also. This duo made the perfect bartending team on a Friday night. Ally was awesome! You can't go wrong at this bar on a Friday night as long as these ladies are mixing up your drinks!
