Stopped in with the family for a quick sip. We got a flight of 6, that were each interesting and tasty in their way. The descriptions "notes of pear", "clove and cinnamon notes " were accurate. The reason for four stars is because although they serves pretzels AND hotdogs, the only mustard was a honey mustard- do people actually put honey mustard on hotdogs? According to my companion, the honey mustard was, in fact, delicious, but to each cat her own rat.

Stopped by on a whim with my wife just to check the place out and ended up ordering a flight and staying a bit. I can see why people love coming there and just chilling and catching up. I had a flight of 6 but the one that stuck out to me the most was the "Hot toadies" I think that's the name lol but anyways that was delicious and exactly what I needed on a cold winter day. It instantly made me feel comfortable and tasted amazing. I didn't like all of the ciders however, but ciders, beers, wines etc are all preferences so I ain't gonna say anything bad. I will say the top three in my photo tasted delicious but the bottom three were a little to tart for me. But that's just me! The bartender was very nice and informative, and made people feel welcome, many knew her personally it seemed but she always stay professional and helped everyone. She was the highlight in the building other then the ciders. She was a one woman crew serving up little appetizers and ciders solo! So I'm definitely gonna be back and enjoy some more ciders!

Hidden among an industrial park. Nice place to switch up during the craft brewery craze. Solid mix of different styles, my favorite were the dry ciders, which the bartender was helpful too assist in your pick. If you can't pick, flights of various sizes are available. Good space inside, with many customers playing board games provided. They offer some bar snack food, but many brought in dinner from nearby restaurants. Good chill spot to check out! Cheers!

My girl suggested my girls and I to go this cider place as it's a new cider place. The cider place has a plenty spots in the parking lot. They have a few picnic tables outside. The bartender was very friendly as he greeted us. He showed us what we would like to order. We picked our drinks and ordered. Most cider drinks were delicious and we all enjoyed. I would recommend anyone who like to drink cider drinks, but they also do sell some IPA drinks as well. They have their own brand of cider drinks if you want to buy and bring it to home too! Thank you for amazing experience and drinks are delicious!!

This place never fails, we first came to Blue Toad with a Groupon five years ago, met a bartender, Robin, on her first day bartending. 5 years later we come here everytime we are in town. We have only ever had ciders, but they are always delicious. Their ability to alter flavors and hues using filtration is neat also. We had a flight last night. Then a few pints before leaving with a 9 pack and a growler. We will be back again next time we are in town. Thanks Blue Toad you guys rock!

Another Hidden Treasure. Be Happy, Don't sigh...... DER... Do Cider. Drinking hard cider is so new to us. But I think our enjoyment could grow on this. We were there last night and totally enjoyed coming. We tried many different types of hard cider and enjoyed all to some level some of course more than other. One of the owners generously taught us a lot about hard cider and explained about bubbles. Among other things we learned that too many bubbles taxes go up some what like beer taxes versus champagne. Although it is in a good location in the sense that it is close to many places it is somewhat hidden. Sort of 'so close yet so far away'. But isn't that kind of fun? Like a secret that you find and then you want to tell your friends about. When you are in Henrietta why not stop by before dinner or maybe after dinner. I bet you'll go in with a big smile and you Think oh my god this is so cute. I think you'll enjoy it.

Mmmmm, I love a good brewery or cidery hidden in an industrial hidey hole. The place is festooned with blue toads. Good sized pours in the sampler. Games to play and seats to sit yourself at. I did wonder if you could bring in take out from Young's but didn't ask.

This quaint tasting room is must this Fall. They have been doing so well, that the business just ordered three new fermenting machines. This place is tucked on Mushroom Blvd on the side of a long building. When you walk in there are four metal bar stools, and large barrels you can stand around. There is also one large table with stools in a room off of the bar, for larger groups. They have an old school dartboard in there with steel tips, and a chalkboard to keep score. To the important stuff: They sell growlers for $16, and then you can keep coming back and filling them up for $10. They also sell mini growlers, but they run out of those quickly. The bigger growler is a better value anyway. A growler fits about four pints, and they have a growler club. The tenth growler you get is free! If you are someone that never keeps track of your punch cards, they have a computer system that keeps track for you. Their "all the time" ciders are the Hard Amber, and the Flower City Blonde. The Hard Amber is my favorite, and is darker in color. The Blonde is a little sweeter. You can order a dirty blonde and get half and half. Their special now is the black cherry cider, and they have a pumpkin house porter on draft. Next week they will get the pumpkin cider. They have three different flight options for $5, $7 and $10. Each flight adds different amounts of specialty ciders depending on what you want. They come in 5 oz glasses. If you just want to try a pint, you can have a little sip of something before you try it. One Thursdays they have $2 pints with a growler purchase, and on special nights they sell a pint of cider and a slice of Salvatore's pizza for $5. All of the apples come from Shute's Farms in Webster. Some of the ciders that we had were made from apples that were picked only ten days ago. It doesn't get much fresher than that.

Tucked away near the Regional Market, the Blue Toad Hard Cider distillery in Henrietta has tasty ciders and friendly staff to guide your visit. After enjoying the tasting room in Victor with friends, we decided a visit to Henrietta was required. The tasting room is off Mushroom Boulevard, in that maze of buildings behind the Regional Market. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, so it was fairly quiet. There was one other couple visiting the tasting room, which is a little on the small side. There's an area with tables and darts off to the side of the bar, but I imagine once you get more than a dozen people in the space it starts to get crowded. We came to Henrietta primarily to taste the seasonal ciders, which they seem to run out of the fastest in Victor. Fortunately, the production facility is right next door, so the Henrietta tasting room isn't going to run out of everything! My date and I split a flight of the two seasonal ciders. The Black Cherry was our favorite, hands down, and we took home a growler of that to enjoy later. Our server was very knowledgeable and clued us in to some of the finer points of cider and it's production. Heading to Henrietta to do some shopping? Make Blue Toad a stop on your Sunday "to-do" list. With AJ's Beer Warehouse and Home Depot around the corner, it can only make running errands that much more enjoyable.

Are customers allowed to bring their own food (e.g. takeout from elsewhere)?

Yes, We do not have a full kitchen, so you are more than welcome to bring in food from any of our local Rochester restaurants ! We do have Bavarian pretzels, Nachos and Hot Dogs most nights. 13 cider taps and 2 beer taps!

The Detroit style pizza is phenomenal! Perfect crispy crust. I was there on a Friday but came back the next day to try the tomato pie as it was sold out on Friday. It was delicious! Think focaccia with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese. So tasty! But what is brilliant is that of four pizzas, one rotates each week and changes. I had one of the rotating pizzas: pepperoni, banana peppers, garlic sauce, and honey. It bears repeating, wow! So great! The beers? There's something for everyone! So many hazy/New England IPAs and sours. Great seltzers too! The space is great with room for private parties. Such friendly staff. I hope to come back again before leaving!

There was a youth softball team celebrating the end of the season upstairs so it was a bit loud, but fun. It's right on the creek and there's plenty of outside seating and picnic tables so if the weathers nice you can get your food and beverages and head outside. The bar tenders were all good, let us try a couple samples to make sure we were gonna like what we ordered. There's a separate spot to order food and the young girls working the food spot were unenthusiastic... We ordered the chorizo poutine, Roni Stark Pizza and Tampa Bay Bustdown burger. The pizza was good, honey drizzle was a nice touch, but the poutine and burger were the clear winners. Chorizo gravy had a good kick, and there were big chunks of cheese curd, nice. The burger had 2 smashed patties, nice crispy edges and a ton of flavor. The Gouda cheese and bacon they are using are both high quality. A lot of variety of beers on tap, not all IPAs which was nice for someone that isn't an IPA guy. Tried 2 lager, an ale and a pilsner they had on tap and I'd drink any of them again.

I've actually been a customer for years - from meeting friends for an afternoon cider, to attending group work events, to listening to local bands, to attending costume contests during Halloween.
