My original party was rained out, so I rescheduled it for a month later and that date was also forecasted for rain. These were outdoor events completely dependent on weather, yet there was essentially no flexibility. The first time, I was told they could still show up, which meant parents would sit outside in the rain and cold while kids played in the truck. That's not a reasonable expectation for an outdoor park party. I was only allowed to reschedule after pushing back, and their reconsideration only came after I sent an email expressing my concerns. For the second date, I canceled on Thursday for a Sunday party and did not ask for a refund because I already understood the rigid policy. I accepted the $150 loss. Then Saturday night, I received a text confirming the party. I responded that I had canceled on Thursday. The reply was "OK, I see it now," followed by another message reminding me that the deposit was nonrefundable even though I never asked for a refund. For a company that books outdoor park events, having zero flexibility for weather something customers cannot control is not customer-focused and reflects poor business practices. The lack of flexibility combined with the tone of communication made the entire experience very disappointing.

Game truck did nothing to try to fix the problem and scoffed at me for asking why they did not have a back up cord since they knew the other was damaged. I was told, "sometimes I book a flight and it gets cancelled. It happens" huh? I do understand that things happen, but this could have easily been avoided, and I did not appreciate how the owner dismissed me and my son's disappointment. Had they said something when the other cord was damaged, we could have tried to get another or made other plans.
