She was happy to answer any questions, was extremely knowledgable, and helped me find other vendors as well! The consultants know what they're doing and what looks good. Kim really helped honor my bridal style, and made me feel comfortable trying out different dresses. During these COVID times, my parents and I were super impressed with their safety measures and we didn't feel unsafe at all. Masks are required, there are limits on how many people you bring with you, and it's easy to distance from the other bridal group. Beautiful dresses, friendly staff, but not plus-size/curvy girl friendly. Before booking an appointment, I called to make sure the boutique had dresses in my size. I am a 12-14 in jeans with weight in my thighs and butt. The person on the phone told me that they have over 100 dresses available and that I would have plenty of dresses to try on. Cut to the day of my dress try-on. I had 3 attendees, 2 from out of state. We each get a few pins to walk around and select dresses for me to try on. Almost all of the dresses we selected were not available in my size to try on. I only got to try on 1 dress that my group picked and 2 others that the staff member selected for me. The lady helping me was very kind and helped me lean toward the shape and style I preferred, but it was extremely disappointing and I had to fight to not cry in the dressing room due to the embarrassment. The dresses were beautiful but this was one of the most embarrassing experiences that I have ever had. Went to Paige and Elliott yesterday with a friend to shop for her wedding gown. She had an appointment at Paige and Elliott, which I think is required for Sundays. We were seen promptly at our appointment time by Candace, who was fabulous. Candace went through a quick questionnaire with my friend Kim to get an idea of what Kim's dress shopping and planning process have been up to this point. She asked Kim about styles she likes, budget, feel of her big, day. It was very helpful in getting to see the whole picture before we went rogue on the shopping. Candace handed all of us clothes pins and told us to pin our favorite. As we were pinning, Candace was pulling them in the dressing room for Kim to try on. We were the only group in the store, which was really nice. It made the experience really fun and personal, and Candace was great to work with. She accessorized when appropriate but was great at letting Kim talk through her likes and dislikes of the dress. Kim found her dream dress, and Candace hooked us up with a champagne toast to celebrate. It was so fun and easy! One thing that stands out to me about this bridal store is how reasonably priced everything is. There is not a lot of inventory, but what they do have is great and versatile. I had an amazing time picking out my dress and Paige and Elliott! It had come highly recommended by my wedding planner and for a very good reason. It was super easy to schedule an appointment online. You submit you basic information, date and time you'd like, and they email you back within 24 hours with a confirmation. The day before my appointment, Candace called and left a personal voicemail to confirm. Upon arrival, my guests and I were given a tour and given a mug full of clothespins to go around the store and tag any dresses I should try. With the sale going on, some dresses were as low as $300! Others ranged from around $700-$2500 at regular price. I tried on probably close to 15 dresses and Candace was very easy to work with. She assisted in zipping and pinning the dresses, chimed in with helpful hints for alterations, but never once tried to sell us on anything. She was along for the ride just like the rest of us. I wound up finding my perfect dress here and at a really good price! Candace popped some champagne for us to toast the success and let me stay in the dress as long as I wanted. It is unfortunate that the owner is more concerned with her profit margin than with the welfare of her customers. My daughter was told that this store services all sizes. Unfortunately her experience left her crying in the parking lot. Almost all of the dresses, we selected were not available in her size to try on. After numerous and attempts to cancel over a weekend. We decided to cancel the dress less that 3 hours after reaching out to the owner , on a Saturday and Sunday morning with no response, all this happened in less that 24 hours, The owner ordered the dress against us begging to cancel, because of Covid and her not being able to have her wedding. The next day she was emotionally devastated that the dress was nothing like she had dreamed. I called the next morning at 9 am, the minute the store was opened, before they ordered the dress and asked them to cancel the order. She refused and stated "The dress is ordered and there is nothing she can do to cancel. It will be ready in 4-5 months. I feel this is an unacceptable way of doing business. We have no need for anything else from this establishment and keeping my money is a sign of a highly unethical individual. We were here to support local store, here she was only there to serve her own purpose. We never signed an agreement. We even shared with her, we would like till Monday. We reached out to American Express directedly. She sent out a forged document to American Express. All over $459.00. She never offered a refund. We later found out after hours of research , that her store marked the dress over 100% then other wedding stores. We are in the midst of Corvid, recessions need to be made. We were in there on September 5th, 2020. My daughter got an email, stating the dress is ready. Stay clear of this store and the unethical practices. I lost my job and can not afford this expense for a dress and a wedding we are not having . Shame on her. She is a thief! My daughter was in tears this morning, she know that I am struggling to find work and now this, having a email stating your dress is ready for pick-up. My daughter was hysterical-$489.00 We waited 5 months to receive a knock off-dress. We waited 5 months for a dress we tried to cancel. Our thoughts, we would sell it! You would not be able to sell it. When, I picked up the dress on Friday, she would not allow me to inspect the dress. I took it home. Here is what I found, the construction of the dress is very poor quality, the bodice and skirt are not connected, all unfinished seams and edges, several runs in the fabric too, it is dirty, not pressed, the zipper is not seen in at all. A mother's instinct is always right! I went over to the store to speak with the owner, she was not there. She quickly called the police to do her bidding of unethical and fraudulent product. I asked her to look at the dress, refund our money, or repair the dress. She said no! The officer was shocked! One of the employees shared with me, that is was a quality control issue. The owner stood her ground, she choose to steal our money, she chose not even to look at the dress, even after I asked the officer if I could post. While they agreed to not order the dress, the owner has refused to return the 50% down payment. While she will admit she was not out anything in the transaction, she felt it in her own best interest to keep our money. While she did offer an in store credit and informed my how she was being helpful by not forcing me to pay the remainder of the price of the dress, I feel this is an unacceptable way of doing business. I ended up finding my gown at a different store, but I've got to say, the selection and customer service at Paige & Elliott is EXCEPTIONAL. First off, the gowns are organized and displayed in such an aesthetically pleasing way, that when you walk in, you feel like you're in every bride's dream. It's been a few months and I'm terrible with names, but we worked with Candace and one other girl, and they were both WONDERFUL. Our appointment started with them taking the time to get to know me, about our big day, and styles that I liked, didn't like, and wanted to try. They let me wander around and pick out a few, and then threw a few of their recommendations in as well - and let me tell you, they do a great job of reading you and your style and bringing out great selections. I ended up going back a few weeks later to try on a style I'd seen online as well, and the service was the same. I love the gown I found at a different store (it was a line they didn't carry), and the service I had there, but I am sad that I didn't get to be a Paige & Elliott bride, because I had such a wonderful shopping experience here. My maid of honor went with me and still raves about the store as well. For brides in the area (and out of the area), I'd HIGHLY recommend shopping at Paige & Elliott.
