Masseuses have used their elbows on me before but never their knees. By the time I got home, I had developed a bruise on each shoulder blade. The one of my left shoulder blade was worse - it went from a deep purple bruise to a quarter-size wound. I initially thought the masseuse ruptured a blood vessel but now I think my skin was rubbed raw against my bone. I am never going here again and would not recommend this place to others.

The masseuse did a great job- I left feeling like I was walking on pillows. For the price and kind service, this place can't be beat. My one con would be that I wish it was more private. Although the rooms are separated, the walls aren't closed so I could hear the front desk phone ringing and the front staff opening/closing the door. I used the atm to take out cash as the surcharge to use a cc was insane. I recount the money in front of the counter and when I gave her the money the front desk proceeded to ask for the tip. My new fave is Margaret. This past year- I have added cupping to my massage. Wet cupping massage and then cupping to the end. Slightly uncomfortable to sensitive areas or area of tension at first but when the 10mins are up and the cups are removed- there are way more benefits. The only times I don't add cupping is if I have to wear something that can't hide the cupping marks or I'm going to the beach etc.

At one point I felt uneasy and disrespected after paying for the treatment in full and leaving a tip greater than 18%. I wasn't aware that it was mandatory to have to pay an additional amount on top of the fee and Tip that was already paid. I wasn't sure I was allowed to leave if I did not leave atleast 30% tip to satisfy the cashiers demand. Conversation started pleasant and immediately went left once I began to explain my issue with the service & treatment I received while patronizing this establishment. It almost seemed like a rehearsed script used for all complaints and issues. First I was told that "maybe there was a language barrier , that was misunderstood. 2nd she immediately informed me that she saw my review and began contesting "my experience at this spa". 3rd she then told me that she "reviewed camera footage" , and this is what didn't sit well with me. This wasn't a call to resolve or fix a situation with a customer, this was more confrontational. She also said I was free to leave at anytime due to the fact that I stated , I wasn't sure if I would be allowed to leave without increasing the tip. I wasn't sure also accused of leaving a false review of my experience and at that point I asked if it was possible to get an email contact for the owner. The last thing this "manager" said before I ended the call was "this is what I mean, I am trying to work with you" as if she was doing me a favor. No thank you. Have a pleasant day.
