Apparently, your tow driver does not and did not know where the tow hook on the rear bumper is on this car - the tow hook on the car is on the rear bumper which was easily accessible. This is obvious in the first photo. These photos are also before the pull, they are photos of when it was stuck. Also, the original damage caused to the car was in the front end - not the rear - which is also obvious in in the first and last photo. "I spoke with your collision center as well and sent them the hold harmless form you signed. We agree, this could have been avoided if you hadn't driven off of your paved driveway onto a boulder. " The front-end damage could have been avoided - but your driver caused the damage to the rear axle assembly WHICH NEVER TOUCHED THE BOULDER !!! Also, I too talked to collision center, and they pointed out that although the front was damage by the boulder, your tow driver caused the damage to the rear axle assembly, and that he should have definitely known about the tow hook on the rear bumper and have pulled the car off the boulder from that point - not from the rear axle assembly!

After a further discussion into what I was wanting to do, it was recommended that a technician look at transmission fluid since the vehicle had 112,000 miles on it and the fluid had never been changed. After the technician looked at the fluid, it was determined that I probably shouldn't drain it and certainly not have it flushed out as it could cause problems. Current, I have no issues with the transmission so it was not changed. I appreciated the honesty and very timely check. I also was greeted early on by another associate Madeline, who was very friendly and was going about her assigned work as well.. This shop is busy, but they took time out for each customer and my brief experience was pleasant.

AMMCO sorta diagnosis the problem was transmission cooler line came disconnected. They reattached the lines and said everything was fine with the transmission. Turns out everything was not fine. The transmission was leaking. My normal mechanic pointed out the leak a day later. I was told by AMMCO they did a thorough inspection. If the inspection took place they would have caught the leak along with several other things that needed attention. I would give 0 stars but that is not an option.

He sent me a link to view past appointments and to check on the status of my vehicle while it was being serviced. He gave me a few recommendations of service for my vehicle based on the history because it had not been done yet. Once my vehicle was done, he called me to let me know it was ready. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience ever, but I can say this was probably the best one I've had despite the two hour wait. I can appreciate being told how long the wait is before I walk away to be able to decide if I'd like to come back a different day or just stay. It wasn't a long process. They provided me with a detailed list of parts that needed replacement, totaling $5,000. I was told that my battery was bad, and I needed new spark plugs and new front brakes. I was very concerned about the long list of expensive work that they said needed to be done, but my vehicle was driving just fine. I checked the battery, and it passed the test. I also decided to stop by O'Reilly Auto Parts to check the battery there, and it was working well and still functioning fine! After getting quotes from various mechanics, I decided to go with 210 Family Mobile Mechanics, who replaced the spark plugs and front brakes, which could probably last another 50,000 miles. The spark plugs and brakes looked just fine and there was no need to replace them, they could have lasted another 40-50,000 miles easily.
