Definitely Bluebonnet Landscape Creations! We wanted to update both our front yard and back yard landscapes as they were both 20+ years old. After meeting with us to get our input, Randy focused our attention to a total makeover of the front yard landscaping and discussed the ways that he could make it flow and have several different focal points across the entire yard. The design accentuated many considerations (various heights, sun vs. shade, color accents, flower focal points). While difficult for us to totally visualize, Randy saw the end product in his design. Installation-wise, the crew was phenomenal (stonework, tear-out, new planting, clean-up). The plant materials selected were very good quality. Our expectations for the final product were exceeded. Near the end of the installation, we said we could really see how the total concept came together. Randy said he could 'feel' how it came together. We were so impressed with BLC that we also had Randy design a partial makeover of our backyard landscaping, as well as add an additional landscape area in our back yard to make it look even better. The work done in the back equaled the extraordinary work he did in the front. We love the vast improvements to our outdoor areas. We also love the many positive comments we have received from our neighbors and people who have passed by and have noticed the landscape improvements. I can not say enough positive things about Randy and Bluebonnet Landscape Creations. After years of having my houses landscaped by different companies, I decided to do research and get bids by other companies. I came across Randy and Bluebonnet and from the very first meeting he was nice, listened well, highly creative, came prepared, and had examples of his work before, during, and after which is unlike most companies you come across. When it came to my installation, it went smoothly, and his crew worked long hours to get the transformation done of my house and left it clean and neat each and every day. When the job was done, Randy did more then he originally quoted to make sure the design he did looked as great or better then what he showed me on the plans and added even more plants without adding additional charges to the bill. I have had so many comments about how unique my house looks and how it stands out and is so classy and finished looking. Bluebonnet Landscape Creations transformed our front yard in Nov. 2020. Randy is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about what he does, has a great eye for design and is a pleasure to work with. He came up with a plan to rework our walkway/entry, transplant some existing landscaping and completely redo the beds along the front of our home. He helped us prioritize what would maximize impact on our large lot and also gave us ideas for things we could do on our own to address different areas of our property. Randy is very hands-on and detailed. His crew is great. He has been very good about teaching us how to care for the new plants (happy to say everything survived the Feb. 2021 freeze thanks to his advice) and answering our questions at every stage of the process. Just moved from Plano where Randy had designed our front landscape several years ago and we received complements for years on how well it looked. There was no doubt we would use him for our new house landscaping. He just finished our patio/firepit with water feature. We described what we wanted and then asked Randy to help finish the design. Once again he nailed it. He provided a great plan which we then had further ideas and enhancements. He provided different options and excellent counsel. It took a little while to get scheduled but once started, the crew and contractors were very good at staying on task and excellent tradesmen. The whole project was coordinated perfectly. BEWARE: When you meet Randy, see his work, and get a design for your own home, you'll likely want it all. We did. I was unhappy with earlier quotes I got for improving our landscape and patio. Those other contractors all said, "we can do whatever you want," but we didn't know what we wanted. So I called Time Out and wanted a base design from a landscape architect before deciding on anything. Randy delivered in spades, and what a difference good design makes. I can't say enough about the patio & bed design, bed prep, plant selection, or installation. Randy's crew was fantastic and got incredible work done fast. Now, even when we're not entertaining, I love just sitting outside and enjoying every square inch. Hold me back. Just don't tell County tax collectors that our house is now worth so much more. I have used Bluebonnet Landscape Creations at three different homes that I have owned ever since 1997. The owner, Randy Hardin, has always spent time listening to what I want and then does a great job of drawing up the plans so that I can actually see what it will look like. A few years ago, we moved to a newly built home in Argyle and he had no problem driving from Plano to landscape our backyard around our new pool. A couple of years ago, he came back and completely landscaped the front yard. Anytime we have someone new over to our home, we get nonstop compliments on how beautiful all of the landscaping is. We had Randy at Bluebonnet Landscape Creations do our landscaping last year and we were/are very pleased with the results! Randy met with us to check out the front yard and he also took several pictures of the area where he would be planting. He came back about a week or so later with a blueprint design of what he planned on planting and where he was going to place everything.
