He couldn't be bothered to say turn the corner or point over there. I've moved on from customer service cause I just don't care. Gets rung up and total is 59. Remember when I said I don't care about customer service? Well no greeting. This employee just seems like annoyed lol. I then ask 59? She responds taxes. It's suppose to be 54.99 . I'm gonna give it to you for 43.99. I'm just standing there. Annoyed at the fact that these two employees just couldn't be bothered with anything. She does apologizes. Only to mention again that the price had gone up. Like girl if you don't want to sell it to me just tell me. I'll go spend whatever I paid here somewhere else. You don't owe me customer service with a smile. You don't need to attend to my simple questions. But don't try to come at me with prices that your team messed up on and throw in I'll give it to you for the price that's there. You don't help out. You don't greet. The weirdo cashier immediately reprimanded my dog and said we don't allow interaction with other dogs. I stated, " they were interacting a few minutes ago, and I don't know how you can stop dogs from interactlng in a pet store! he stated you could just tell your dog no. Petco, who??? Our dog trainer told us about BlueCollar Working Dog and I was blown away by this store! They have EVERYTHING and all great quality stuff. Whether you are a professional dog trainer or first time pet owner, this place has everything you need. We have a SUPER DUPER chewer. Toys don't last in this house. The selection of chews and tugs here, of all different materials, was super exciting. Leather stuffies, jute tug toys and so much more! They also have a variety of items in different price ranges so I was able to take home some really great items for under $10 each. In addition to toys, they have tons of treats, food types, accessories, bones and bully sticks etc. I got my pup a really nice braided leather leash that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. In addition to the amazing inventory, the staff here was super helpful and friendly. The cashier told me about all of their rewards programs (punch cards wee!), classes and private training sessions. I want to begin by saying that my husband and I used Blue Collar even before they moved to their location on Glendale boulevard. They were kind, they were clean, and always very helpful with our old dogs. I went there Saturday with a new shelter dog we adopted, and as I arrived the dog was began to throw up. I pulled in and asked for help... Paper towel, cloth, a helping hand. Two of the three just stood there behind the counter and looked down. A third one walked over, Robert, and said I'll help. I looked at the other two and I said what is it... you don't help customers anymore? One of them replied we're not allowed to help you. We can't go outside. That's not our job. The lack of respect, and simple humankindness, told me that I never ever have to give them business again. Robert came over to my car and helped me push the dog puke into their trash can. He gave me paper towels too. I then walked in to buy some dog treats and a harness, while the other two stayed behind the counter and looked down. I said, oh now you can't even help show me the harnesses you sell? One of them reply oh I'm busy. Pathetic. Robert helped size our new dog for a harness and I picked out some treats too. 2 other customers came in, and the other slackers just stood behind the counter clerking their sales. The moment I walked in there was complete silence from the employee with dark hair who stood behind the counter deeply invested in his phone. I decided to wander the store to get a feel for the all the items. Another employee with blonde hair walks past me several times without a word. Having worked in sales/retail for well over 10 years I thought to myself "what a shame it is for sale's employees to refrain from greeting customers or interacting with them". I left purchasing my the bare minimum such as food/treats because we were in dire need of them for our new foster. Due to my experience I decided this is not a business return to for any needs pertaining to dogs in the future. This is a great pet store. The best part, though, is the training. Barry understands dogs at a very deep level. More importantly, he understands people & their relationship to their dogs.
