I had a key cut for a car. I brought in the key blank. I agreed to the absurdly ridiculous $25 price to cut the key because I'm an old fool with a few extra bucks and too lazy to go somewhere else and get a better price. Then, I walked off without checking if the key works and found out that it doesn't. I haven't bothered going back because the dude was surly and made me feel uncomfortable. I have worked with these folks twice. The first time was a few years ago when my garage door had an issue. They came out that evening and it was fixed within a few hours and I thought that the price was more than fair. The guy who came out was Russian and could not have been nicer. Fast forward to my recent experience. I had a guy come by to do some work on the locks at my house. 45 minutes later, he gave me a bill for over $200.00. I had Bluefin come out and remove a broken lock in my slider which was performed successfully. The installer noticed I needed and offered to replace my garage door at a reasonable price because he had the door on his truck. I agreed to have the door replaced. The installer indicated that he needed to confirm a schedule with his boss but neither ever returned a phone call. After speaking to the boss/owner of not receiving a return phone call, he assured me that this is not how the company does business and after checking out the situation with his installer would get back to me. Cut the steel door. Removed the old keylock. Installed a new digital bolt lock and then connected it to our wifi. Gave us a demonstration. A short tutorial. A practice run. And away swam David.
