Went on Mother's Day for the first time, had a fantastic experience with the staff, cleanliness, efficiency and flavor of food. The grill was packed but we found a seat and were visited right away to get our orders. Staff were not overwhelmed by being at almost full capacity, and people like me asking questions about the menu etc. Our table never felt rushed or forgotten about. What we really liked: catfish, rooster tacos, onion rings & hush puppies Not our favorite: dirty rice Be prepared when you go, it was fairly loud with everyone and music playing, some of the tables are close and it's likely for you to be bumped against if people are walking near. If you get motion sickness like I do, the restaurant is on the water and bobs frequently with the boat ramp & dock traffic. Most of the seating is bar stools and cocktail tables - so a little higher than you may expect. Looking forward to returning on one of their event nights and checking out their crawfish dish. Go on a nice day and enjoy the view and the service.

We talked up this restaurant to my 90 year old mother who walks with a walker. When we got there they only had 1 table for a handicap person. They only had high tables for the rest. Their area right next to it had regular tables. I asked if they would make an exception for us since my mom couldn't get up Nd sit in a bar stool. The manager refused and said if I let one person we have to let everyone. I review with them that no everyone is 90 with a walker. We did not stay because they refused to accommodate handicap or a regular table for mother even though they had them. I went to the restroom before we drove 45 minutes back home without eating. They had one handicap restroom and it was out of order!! Do not go to this restaurant if you are handicapped or elderly unless you can get up and sit on a bar stool. They are definitely not willing to help or make any excepts for a handicapped or elderly person. Terrible terrible customer service w. Very non caring!

We really wanted to have so. We at a place on the water and the Bluegill Grill was the perfect location! We arrived about 5:00 so it was not crowded. Our server was friendly and helpful We both ordered the catfish. One grilled and one fried I swear, the food was served in 3 minutes. So I know it has been sitting under a heat lamp. Not fresh. Was disappointed in the quality of the food, but it was fun to feed the carp, turtles, and Canadian geese with the left overs.

We stopped in based on recommendations from our Airbnb host... we weren't too impressed. The view and atmosphere is nice. We spent the day on the lake and rented our boat from the marina there so thought it would be a great place to have our last dinner while we were in Tullahoma. It was not all it was hyped up to be. The catfish was kind of wet in its batter. It would be okay if the fish was super juicy but that didn't seem like what it was. Crab cakes were burnt.. and the crab dip appetizer was a flop. I mean nothing was inedible, but nothing was terrific. This place is obviously here for the on the water experience. I'd say I recommend it if you're looking for that on the water experience, but the food won't impress you.

Sit back and enjoy some county music and lake views as you eat from this local marina grill. Upon arrival, you're prompted to pick a seat anywhere on their covered patio. All of the tables were fully shaded and under ceiling fans, so it felt perfect on a hot summer day (92° F). The waitstaff was friendly and hospitable. The menu wasn't large, but ranged from classics such as shrimp, catfish, oysters, chicken, steaks, and burgers. They had something for everyone. I decided to get the chicken tenders basket with fries. The food was hot and fresh, and the wait was not long at all. Sitting by the balcony also allowed us to watch the geese, ducks, fish, and turtles, as they promenaded past. It felt eclectic and had a small town charm-- filled with restaurant memorabilia and lakeside decor. It was truly a unique experience.

Honestly I would give our waitress, Katherine five stars. She was attentive and hard working. I would give the venue five stars for uniqueness and location but they received three stars because the food was just okay. Not horrible, but not five star worthy. My diet coke was super flat and without one bit of hesitation Katherine got me another one from another tap...it was better but still not great. I think if you were going for drinks and appetizers you'd really enjoy yourself but fine dining it is not.

We stop here every time we are out on Tim's Ford Lake. The food is magnificent each visit we make. We love the atmosphere and the staff are always wonderful. Emily J. is a rockstar. We have had her wait on us a couple of times and she is absolutely wonderful with the best personality. We can't wait to go back in a few weeks. Please check it out if you're in the area. I'm pretty sure you won't regret it.

Amazing service! Good food and great drinks. I'm not a seafood girl but still enough options. Defiantly need to go back.

It does have meat in it, so be aware of that. The potatoes salad was pretty good too. I highly recommend trying it out! And the CORNBREAD! Some of the best I've ever had too. Now we both are paying for it with many trips to the bathroom. The macaroni had brown crust on it and so did the mashed potatoes. The staff were friendly but the girl was cross contaminating the food. Borrowing the chicken tongs to pick up the rolls. Dripping one food into the other. The place was dirty, spider webs in the bathroom and only the cold water works in the woman's bathroom and the toilet had you know what splatter on it. NO AC!! We were trying to eat while sweating profusely. Tables and booths were filthy. We will never go back. The only thing we 'might' do would be order catfish ONLY to-go. The catfish was cooked fresh and really good, but tartar sauce is not good. Just sits out on the table at room temperature and just tastes like mayo. This place has potential, but is neglected by owner and workers and then hyped up on social media. Don't waste your money unless it improves tremendously.
