They are fantastic on shipping times and they carry authentic niche perfumes that may be difficult to find elsewhere. I've also noted that they usually have things in stock, even when other places don't: case in point Loumari's Porthole, which I will discuss later. First, I want to discuss their customer service. I placed my first order with four decants; one was a 5ml of Valaya Exclusif, the rest were 2mls. However, when they arrived, I didn't notice that they were all 2mls. It took months before I started cataloging my perfumes on a spreadsheet, and only then did I realize that I had been sent a 2m instead of a 5ml. I emailed PdF explaining what had happened including pictures of my order and what the sent. I asked if they could send me a bottle with the additional 3 mls that I was missing. Instead, they apologized and said they would send an additional 5ml, rather than the missing 3ml; meaning I ended up with 7 mls instead of my original order of 5 mls. This interaction made me appreciate and respect the company because they own up to their mistakes and take care of their customers. One of my next orders included a decant of Vanilla Powder Extrait. However, when it arrived, the printed label just said Vanilla Powder. I had previously ordered Vanilla Powder EDP, but it was also just labeled Vanilla Powder. So, I was unsure if I had been sent a second EDP in this order, or whether I was sent the Extrait I had actually ordered. I emailed customer service and they confirmed that I had been sent the Extrait even though the label didn't specify. So, I manually wrote Extrait on the label to prevent confusion with my other EDP sample. Their labels are literally my only gripe. I wish that they included more than just the perfume name--eg. Including Extrait/EDP/EDT would prevent confusion; having the brand, the decant size, and the date of the decant would also be great. But these are all things I can 'fix' manually by just writing them on the label. I've also had to manually write over some of the perfume names because they fade on the newer white labels. The old clear labels haven't fade. I manually written over them and then taped over that to seal them. After the above orders, I read that they have FREE brand samples, separate from their in-house hand decants, which cost $. So, I emailed them asking about the free samples, and about a promo code I had received from their marketing email. They didn't respond right away, which is very unlike them, so I emailed again the following week. I received a response apologizing as they had been very busy (I believe it was Valentines orders), and they explained that some brands don't allow higher discount codes, but they provided some other codes to try, and they provided their phone number and told me to text them directly when I place my full bottle order and they would add some free samples to my order. I had Loumari Porthole in my cart, but delayed ordering it because I wanted to make sure I didn't want to add anything else to my order before I placed it. Of course, when I went back to my cart to order it a week or so later, it was listed out of stock but available for pre-order. I checked several other websites, and no one had it in stock. This is something I've noticed about PdF, which other sellers don't do. They will tell you when something is unavailable (truly out of stock) vs currently not in stock but available for pre-order from their next shipment. AND they often have things in stock that others don't. Instead of preordering, I decided to check the website every now and again, and the day it came back in stock I ordered it with a 15% off code. I then text the number the customer service person gave me, and they replied immediately --even though it was Mother's Day weekend--and said would add some samples to it for me. WELL....I got my order today and along with with FB, and a 5ml decant I purchased to carry in my purse, it arrived with 7 free brand samples! These aren't just your normal run of the mill samples, they are expensive niche perfume samples (from the brands; not decants) including: Roja - Isola Snow (Parfum) Xerjoff - Torino24 (EDP) Vilhelm Parfumerie - Mango Skin (EDP) Fugazzi- Angel Dust (extrait) Matiere Premier - Vanilla Powder (Extrait) Matiere Premier - Crystal Saffron (Extrait) Essential Parfums - Bois Imperial (Extrait) Honestly, I couldn't be happier. I love this company. Yes there are other stores out there (Lucky Scent/Scent Bar; Twisted Lily; etc), but I adore Parfums de France above all others because of their customer service, attention to detail, glass (usually metal topped) spray decant bottles, non gouged prices, frequent discount codes AND FREE fast shipping (their order total for FREE shipping is lower than any of the other stores I mentioned). After a few days he contacted me by phone stating he received the product and that he was going to send me a replacement. After a few minutes after getting off the phone I received an email he found nothing wrong with the sprayer and that he was not going to provide me with a replacement or a refund. Mind you I payed over $260 for this perfume. I am disputing this but please stay away from these band of CROOKS!

This store is in New York, London, Paris, Dubai, Beirut, Cairo, Riyadh, Doha and Kuala Lumpur. Now Arabian Oud has come to the great state of VIRGINIA...yes, I will say it again...VIRGINIA. What better mall to bring this store to than Tyson Corner Center. The types of perfumes/cologne range from strong to soft. I smelled a several types, but Bella and Gharam are the names I remember. Personally, I find the scented oils to be better than perfume/cologne. You rub some this stuff on your skin, will it will make you fell whole again. Moe was the gentleman who helped my wife, and show her many types of oils and perfumes. Some of these were unisex, but if you really want to get creative, you can make your own personal scent. This is how I found out about this store from a woman who had her own brand made. This place isn't cheap, so be warned. Also there are no refunds so ask many question and sample many fragrances before you buy something. Moe is very knowledgeable about the products and I believe he is the manager on duty. I did not see the hours of operation, but I am guessing they open when the mall opens at 10:00AM. This is a great place to get some gor your loved one if your up for the cost. This is not a black people friendly establishment. Sad we have purchased from here before and for us to be ignored and treated like we were ghosts leaves a bad taste in our mouth.     1 Star -- Buyer Beware: Defective Merchandise, Zero Accountability, and a Company in Active…read moreBankruptcy I have been a loyal Neiman Marcus customer for years and have made multiple high-end purchases at their Tysons Corner location -- we are talking about items in the hundreds and even thousands of dollars. I am writing this review because I have reached my limit with this company and I feel it is my duty to warn fellow shoppers before they make the same mistakes I have. Let me start with my most recent issue. I purchased a Veronica Beard blazer -- a beautiful jacket with gold buttons that cost $800. I wore it to a formal event, one of the gold buttons literally fell off and dropped to the floor. Thank God I heard it hit the floor or I would have lost it entirely -- and these are unique, distinctive gold buttons that cannot simply be replaced anywhere. On an $800 designer blazer, this is completely unacceptable. This is not a $30 jacket from a fast fashion retailer. This is supposed to be luxury. And this is not an isolated incident. I have purchased multiple items from Neiman Marcus -- some costing thousands of dollars -- and have encountered defective merchandise more than once. What makes it worse is not just that the products fail, but that Neiman Marcus absolutely does not stand behind what they sell. They do not honor their guarantees. They do not offer reassurances. They do not make it right. They will dispute you if you escalate to the Better Business Bureau rather than work with you in good faith toward a reasonable resolution. I have experienced this firsthand. They will not take back defective merchandise. I attempted to return defective shoes -- and they refused to take them back even the next day. The next day. On defective shoes. That tells you everything you need to know about how this company values its customers. I am now sitting at a tailor out of pocket paying to have my $800 blazer repaired because Neiman Marcus offers no path to resolution that is worth the time, gas, and emotional energy it takes to even attempt it. I know from experience that driving all the way out to Tysons only to be told no -- as they have done to me before -- is not something I am willing to subject myself to again. So I am fixing their defective product myself, on my own dime. Shoppers need to know that Neiman Marcus is also currently in active bankruptcy. Before you spend your hard-earned money -- especially on high-ticket items -- please do your research and understand that you are taking on real risk. If something goes wrong, and based on my experience it very well might, you will be on your own. There are no guarantees, no accountability, and no customer care to speak of. Shop elsewhere. There are retailers who actually stand behind what they sell and treat their customers with the respect that this level of spending deserves. Neiman Marcus is no longer one of them.

I had not purchased a mattress in over 20 years, so this was a significant and time-intensive decision, and he approached it with patience, professionalism, and deep product knowledge. Although he was unable to place the order for delivery aligned with my move-in date, he took the extra step to locate the same mattress at a Chicago store and coordinated with Orlando to ensure I could still complete the purchase. I want to specifically recognize that despite not receiving credit for the sale after investing considerable time, James remained fully committed to ensuring I had a successful outcome. That level of customer-first service is rare and deserves formal recognition. Because of this experience, I would return to this store and work with him again for any future large purchases.

I purchased two pairs of jeans in different sizes so I could try them on at home, and I applied a $50 gift card to the order. When I returned the pair that didn't fit, Macy's refunded the gift card first and only then refunded the remaining balance to my Macy's card. Because of this, the gift card could no longer be applied to the pair I kept, and I ended up being charged full price on my card. The only reason I bought these expensive jeans in the first place was because I had a gift card to use. This policy makes no sense and feels completely unfair. The manager was not helpful at all. She kept repeating that "the system doesn't allow" any changes to how returns are processed. I would have returned the pair I kept based on this experience alone, but I had already removed the tag. Macy's, your return system protects the gift card--not the customer. You need to do better if you want to keep loyal customers happy.

However, on a recent trip coming back home, I made my way here to kill some time as I had the day off from work. First things first, what a nightmare to find a parking spot and to not get run over by traversing the parking area. I thought I had gone the wrong way at one point to find a spot. And when I did find a spot I was confused and thought I had to pay to park. I wish it were just easily marked on where to go here. Once parked, I found my way inside and just meandered around the space. Popping in an out of stores as I saw appealing. They really do have a ton of selections here. Huge amount of time can be lost here if you are on a time crunch. I was in no rush, so I wandered around until I had my fill of the space. My suggestion to you. Come early in the morning, you will definitely be able to get in and out of each store you need to with ample time. Less hassle in the parking lot. And less hassle walking between stores. Or, if you are up for it, travel here by Metro.

It's ever changing as many stores have come and gone. Nevertheless, this is my favorite mall to visit when we make our annual trip to DC. Tysons Corner is located in Tysons, Virginia. The parking structure is very busy and somewhat chaotic. It doesn't have the best layout and there's a lot of confusion as people maneuver through the structure. We bypass this situation by parking on the upper level. Tysons Corner is an incredibly busy mall that never seems to be empty, regardless of the time of day that you visit. This is a three story indoor shopping mall that caters to customers who want to spend serious money. They have your typical stores like Old Navy and Journeys. But then, you'll find Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and Rolex. So, there's something for everyone! Their food court section on the top level near the movie theater has seen better days. It's outdated and hidden away from the rest of the mall. All of the other eateries on the 1st and 2nd levels are pretty nice. They have restaurants like Seasons 52 and Cheesecake Factory that you'd typically find at many of the larger malls. They also have some pop up eateries in the center of the shopping center. I love coming to Tysons Corner. I am still bummed about LL Bean leaving this mall. but I still love this mall. Some stores have moved to different locations within the mall, so make sure that you check the updated directory. The best times to visit Tysons Corner are either early in the morning or about an hour before closing. If you want to get some shopping done while in the area, Tysons Corner is the place for you!
