My Three year old Mini Golden Doodle got referred to your clinic because our local vet True animal Vet knew something was wrong and sure enough our little baby had some type of cancer. My heart is shattered, but I want to tell you what a compassionate and comforting place this is. The doctors went beyond and more to save my baby girl. I know they did their best, but it was time for Lulu to go home, to cross the Rainbow Bridge. For six days, the nurses and vet technicians sent text messages, pictures, and updates when I had to go home for a few hours so my Lulu could rest and get her blood transfusions. They even sent updates on little funny things she would do. They didn't care how many times I visited; I was always welcomed with a smile and comforting words of encouragement. But the staff was very honest also. I was able to be with my Lulu when she took her last breath. After she passed, the staff told me I could stay with her as long as I wanted, and I did. So after coming home from work today, my roommate tells me that my fur baby was throwing up, had diarrhea and was pooping blood. So I ran over to Pet Smart to purchase some pumpkin for her, to help with the diarreha. I then googled her symptoms while in panic mode and saw that these symptoms were for PARVO, but she is a 2.5 year old puppy that has recently had her vaccinations complete. I travel back home to Hawaii often, and all of the boarding places for dogs won't take your dog without all their recent vaccinations. So I had to rule out the PARVO. I ended up calling her Vet Clinic and during the voice mail, since it was after hours, her Dr. Doww noted this place as an after hours emergency clinic. So I called them with the number listed on the voice mail for Ponderosa Animal Clinic, where she usually goes. Anyway, I get their number and call to see if they can see my dog. I was worried that with her symptoms, it would be far worse that what I was expecting. They immediately took my call and sounded like a great place to bring my fur baby. I get home and tell my roommate that I am going to just bring her over to this ER Clinic to make sure she was ok. We checked in around 9:30pm and there was no one in the lobby area. The other rooms looked full with animals that seemed like they were sick or that the owners were waiting for them to go. Which I totally get, since it is an ER for fur babies...but after filling out the 2 pages of forms, since we were new patients there we waitied for almost 2 hours before we were seen. There was even a fella that came in about 20 minutes after us being the only ones there who was seen right away...brining in stray kittens that were stuck together by their umbilical cords. Now, I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy or a KAREN for that matter, but after asking the receptionists at the check in area if and when we were going to be seen, I was told that animals are seen by the severity of their situation. I thought to myself, these are stray kittens that someone is bringing in... I have a pet that lives at home with me, that I care for on a daily basis that I was unsure about what was going on with her throwing up, having diarreha and having a soupy bloody stool movement. I even brought the poop with me incase they needed a sample, but none the less we waited, and waited and waited. At one point the receptionist that I was working with told me that Rhella was fine because she was alert and barking and acting like her diva self. So again we waitied patiently to be seen. We were finally seen by a nurse at around 1130pm. During this entire time, my roommate was texting me asking if everything was ok and I told her that I was only talking to the nurse at 1130pm. So I shared my concern with them and asked if I could just monitor my dog and bring her back later if she had issues with health. The nurse was kind enough to tell me that it was a good sign that she was very alert and seems to be acting normal. She then told me that if I was concerned with the cost of seeing the ER Doctor, that she would take Rhella and check out her vitals for me and make a recommendation from there. I thought that this was a good plan, since she would just check out my fur baby's vitals to see where we were at health wise. So she took Rhella and I waited another 10 minutes before she came back out and told me that all her vitals were normal. She asked if she had eaten anything different or if I changed her diet and I told her no, but I do recall my roommate offering her the Pedigree Combo style treats that she gives her dogs to Rhella last night and shared this information with the nurse. She told me that she thought Rhella was goood to go home and just have her drink lots of water and no food to allow what ever was in her system to come out. So after being in the waiting room for almost 2 hours before being seen, I'd say I made the right decision to not have the ER Doctor see her and be charged the $218 flat rate of just being checked out by the ER Doctor. The nurse gave me some reassurance, telling me that all her vital signs showed normal and if anything changes, that they would be able to see her. Had this nurse not come out when she did, I think I would've left because the receptionists didn't seem compassionate to my situation with what was going on. I mean, it wasn't like they were playing GOD with having stray kittens be seen before a member of my family, my fur baby, was seen first? Long story short, while we waited in the waiting room, the receptionists, I think there were 3, seemed un-compassionate and unbothered that we sat there for almost 2 hours with no follow up or anything. I had to initiate the conversation and ask if everything was ok, and when and if we were going to be seen, several times!!! I was initially trying to do this Yelp REVIEW on my iphone, but it was somehow gone when I went back to finish it, so I had to finish the review via my laptop. read more

We had a puppy that developed a seizure disorder. We were eventually referred to Bluepearl as it became clear that whatever the problem was, it was beyond the scope of our regular vet. In the beginning, this seemed like a good course of action, as the vet gave me the impression he was on top of it and the staff were all polite enough. In the end, Bluepearl charged us around $3500, and gave our puppy back, claiming he'd been seizure free for 24 hours. We barely got home before he had another seizure, we gave him meds as recommended, we cooked him fresh food with no spices based on directions from another vet, and the seizures persisted. We went for 4 days like this, with him having seizures every few hours, before putting him to sleep. It is my belief that blue pearl lied to us because they didn't think we'd pay them if they told us he was still having seizures. They didn't even wash the filth off of him before they gave him back; he was literally covered in his own dried vomit and feces when we picked him up. In fact, for as much as they pretended to care while they had him, to exploit our vulnerability for more money, they never bothered to reach out and ask how he was doing, after they returned him to us. Which leads me to believe they knew they hadn't done anything but steal from us. I'll never take another animal to any blue pearl facility. My experiences with Cain have made me hate veterinarians, but blue pearl in particular, I despise. read more

Do not take your pet to Blue Pearl (BP) Veterinary Hospital if you want remedies and answers regarding your pet's health. My dog fractured his right front leg 8/12/25. I took him to (BP) Veterinary Hospital in Spring (1646 Spring Cypress Rd., 77388) on 8/13/25, and surgery was performed 8/14/25. Everything appeared to be fine during the 1st post-op week. During the week of Aug 18th, my dog displayed pain twice while weight-bearing. On 8/27/25 I took my dog back to BP for his first follow-up exam. Dr. Michael Ficklin (surgeon) ordered an x-ray and also manually tested my dog for appropriate range of motion. Dr Ficklin stated that he did not find discrepancies on my dog's post-op x-ray and explained that the screw that was placed in the joint may be inflaming the nerve or soft tissues around the joint. While at the vet's office (8/27/25), my dog was walking with a slight limp however, his pain was not reproduced during that examination. During the week of September 1st my dog displayed severe pain in the evening, twice while trying to get up from the carpeted floor (so that he does not slip on hardwood floors) to walk to his dog bed. His pain is severe enough that it prohibits him from eating, so I have been unable to give him two doses of his pain meds. I have tried several avenues for administrating his meds (freshly cooked meatballs, cheese, pill pockets), to no avail. I took my dog back to BP today (8/6/25), seeking answers about the reason for his severe pain. I had to explain to two technicians the nature of my visit. I asked if I could speak to the DVM directly instead of discussing the issues with technicians. I was told the techs had to get vital readings before I could see the DVM. I was asked to go into an exam room where I could speak with the Vet. Again, I had to explain all of the issues and again answer the same questions the technicians asked. At this point, it is very frustrating to repeat what I had discussed with the techs. Dr. Lindsey Ramirez is the name of the Vet who met me in the exam room. She was rude and would not allow me to complete a sentence. I gave her several opportunities to talk to me and told her that I wanted to finish my discussion with her without her interruption. She was unprofessional as she tried to talk over me throughout the appointment. My dog is still in pain, panting heavily and holding his right front paw off the floor, and I still do not have concrete information regarding the pain my dog is experiencing. Dr Ficklin did call me as I was driving home from his office to discuss the issue regarding the screw irritating a nerve or soft tissue around the joint. As a former healthcare provider of 40 years, I have never treated a patient in the manner Lindsey Ramirez treated me/my dog. I would hazard to say that if I did treat a patient that way, I would have been fired from my position. I attempted to explain that I was not there to place blame on anyone but wanted to know if my pet's surgery had unforeseen complications so that I could go elsewhere to address his issues. Lindsey Ramirez was completely unsympathetic and hateful, and continued to talk over me until I left the exam room. She wished me a "good day" as I left the exam room; an asinine gesture at best. read more

An estimate that was supposed to be kept at 4500 as per the vet, and then I didn't keep the dog there over night, removing almost 1000.00 in Services. Estimates be it high or low just gives you all legal room. Your employee already admitted you "change" the prices, so no matter what you do, you make sure to get x.x amount.. Money for a procedure/surgery. You also dont honor what your vets tell people to the point you now make your vets tape their conversations, as they are clearly promising things you all dont agree with.. 1. Change prices at the very last min to make sure you get what you want, after lying to patients. 2. Monitor your vets conversations with recordings, that you do not tell your customers is being done mind you.. I had nothing to hide, as the vet offered what they offered. If that recording device that I saw was in there before the vet came in, thats actually illegal, but I didnt see if it came from her pocket or the desk drawer with the other stuff that was pulled out. I did see it was infact recording, and possibly a violation of the law, if it was in the drawer.. 3. Dont honor your vets pricing. read more

Don't trust them with your pet! We came in because my dog was vomiting blood and clearly in severe abdominal pain. A vet tech briefly checked her vitals and said she wasn't a critical emergency despite the obvious signs something was seriously wrong. We sat in the waiting room for 2 hours. No one checked on her, no updates, nothing while other patients were seen ahead of us. I finally had enough because why would I trust them at this point if they don't see my dogs symptoms as critical? So I called another animal hospital, who told us to come right away and they'd see my dog immediately. We left, and thank god we did. The second hospital ran tests and diagnosed her with severe pancreatitis and dehydration a CRITICAL emergency that should never have been treated as a non critical emergency. It's concerning that they can't tell what a critical emergency is and what isn't. There's multiple reviews just like mine too. My pet could have died without immediate care! Also the vet tech didn't know how to do her job and was rude. My dogs vitals were abnormal, she was showing signs of severe dehydration but she came and told us they were fine. She also said she would come back to recheck her vitals and never did. And the little signs they have in the lobby showing you what is a critical emergency and what isn't is not accurate, because we saw a pet get taken in before us for something that's listed on the sign in the lobby as non critical. read more

We had a wonderful experience this past weekend with Blue Pearl and Dr. Cordova our little Shih Tzu, who is much older and has a heart condition accidentally got hold of a roach bait and ate the biggest majority of it. We got him there super fast they were ready and waiting for us and on arrival took prompt and excellent care and saved him. We are so grateful for the entire staff from the reception the good advice over the phone keeping us calm and for Dr. Cordova and her vet tech and assistant are all a blessing and we are so grateful. I had a heartbreaking and frustrating experience at Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital when I brought in my dog, Bear, during a critical emergency. While I understand the urgency of his condition, the way the situation was handled left me feeling taken advantage of during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. Initially, I was handed a form to sign with a $900 estimate. As I was about to pay, the receptionist said it was the wrong paper and replaced it with one for $1,200. I agreed and paid because Bear needed help, and I was desperate to do whatever I could. Shortly after, we were told Bear needed a blood transfusion and emergency surgery to remove a mass in his stomach. The total came to nearly $17,000. I didn't have the money, and was told Bear had less than 24 hours to live. Devastated, I made the painful decision to put him to sleep. I left to get my wife and son so we could say goodbye together. When they brought Bear in, he was muzzled and wearing a cone. We were heartbroken to see him like that. The staff wouldn't remove them, so we did it ourselves. My wife said there was no way he was spending his last moments like that, and I agree--it was just cruel. We were told the $1,200 we had already paid included cremation, a box, and a paw print. In the middle of our grief, they asked if we wanted a nose print. My wife initially said no but changed her mind. When I informed them, they came back into the room while we were crying over our dog to charge us another $30 for the nose print. We never received a receipt or itemized breakdown. No clear explanation of what the $1,200 covered. Two weeks later, we picked up Bear's ashes from his primary vet--not from Blue Pearl. I'm not writing this to be mean. I'm writing this because I truly hope Blue Pearl will do better. Emergencies like this are already incredibly painful. Please treat your clients with more compassion and sensitivity--they're not just customers, they're grieving families. read more

We went to Blue Pearl after our dog ReeKo was evaluated at True Vet. He had a high fever. They told us needed to be hospitalized and labs and x-rays were taken at the True Vet before we went over to Blue Pearl. When we walked in the door, I told the receptionist that we came from True Vet. She knew who we were and told me the that doctors had already spoken. A vet nurse came out and took ReeKo to the back to assess if he needed oxygen because pneumonia showed up on the x-ray. After a reasonable wait, Dr Ragland explained in detail, the labs and images and what two directions ReeKo's illness could take. We discussed the plan for the rest of the evening and we were able to say goodbye for the night. The next day we got text updates and I was able to text back. They did more testing and we went in the afternoon to visit. Unfortunately, he wasn't responding to treatment as we hoped but Dr Stephens adjusted some medications and we were able to visit him. During the night, Dr Ragland called and let us know he was still declining and we were able to come and see him again. In the morning, we went as a family to say goodbye. We were so touched at how they supported us during the whole process and gave us the time that we needed with him. The team at Blue Pearl was so responsive and caring. We didn't have the outcome that we wanted but I know the team as a a whole did everything that they could. read more

We took our cat with a severe foot laceration to BluePearl, Spring, on 6/21/25. We waited for THREE hours. So long that our poor cat urniated in her pet carrier because she had no other choice. They took her vitals and because they were normal, she took lowest priority. NO ONE BOTHERED TO TELL US THAT. After three hours, my husband asked when our pet would be seen. He was unapologeticallly told that we could wait two to three MORE hours if any case THEY DETERMINED to be higher priority came in. They were horribly dispassionate. There were two other angry concerned pet owners that heard what we were told and left, telling us "Good Luck". We left and went to Urgent Care on FM 242 and were seen immediately. I brought my dog Floki in for vomiting and started having tremors due to severe dehydration on Sunday(5-4-2025). I was told needed $600 down to even look at him. Told them didn't have it all that day so I was put in a room to talk with Dr and he came in and said it I would need to pay $300 and again told them I can pay just dont have that all that day. Also asked if I gave my dog Marijuana. And then asked me what did I expect when you have a pet. Made me feel like just because I dont have alot of money or excellent credit to get the care credit card them maybe I shouldn't have a pet. Then he said he will see what he can do. Next a lady walked in letting me know they are sending him home and that it was against their wishes and that he could die through the night. Then told me to go pay upfront for consultation. I was charged $218.00 for what the 5 mins total I spoke with Dr, they provided no aid and made to feel like I dont deserve my pet. I did find another pet hospital the next day(Monday) and they did everything they could. Due to the severe dehydration the tremors were so bad Sunday night) his kidneys had started failing. After fighting for two days in the pet hospital he passed away. I am grateful for this Dr because he is a true vet who cares about animals not the money. The bill was below $500, I just wished he would have been open on weekends and my Floki would still be with me. So I didn't even want to give pet hospital the one star because they are heartless and just cared about money. I am devastated losing my best friend which could have prevented if they cared at all about him. IV fluids alone would have made a big difference in his outcome and they never even mentioned that he was dehydrated which should have been first thing done for him. I even told them he stopped drinking anything as of Saturday evening. So unless you have money I wouldn't advise taking your beloved pet to this Hospital. Even though the guilt I feel is so painful I know in my heart that his death is on them. RIP FLoki are deeply loved and will be missed deeply. Always will be in my thoughts. read more

I brought my Great Dane here after my regular vet was out of options/scope for his needs. He was in bad shape when we got there and the staff did their very best. They were concerned, patient and loving as we left him for the night hoping that he'd make a recovery. When he didn't, the next day they called me first thing to come down to say goodbye. It wasn't what we'd hoped for nor how we wanted things to go but the doctors and the staff were as accommodating and empathetic as possible. We got the chance to say goodbye in the most humane way possible with the staff right there to make him comfortable. Dr. Ficklin performed knee surgery on our St. Bernard in early fall of 2024. From the initial diagnosis to determining the necessary repairs and guiding us through surgery and recovery, Dr. Ficklin was outstanding in every way. It took several months for our dog to regain full confidence in her knee, but she is now doing great and back to her rambunctious self. Worst experience we have ever had. Our poor girl was not feeling well and was taken back to check her vitals. We were told if she was critical they'd keep her to see a doctor. Only critical patients were being seen due to Hurricane Beryl (which is very understandable). 3 hours in we had no update on her and when I went to ask I was told she was in line to see the doctor. We thought she was critical. We had little to no information on her even when we asked what was going on. 6 hours later when we asked once again how she was and what was wrong with her we were told her vitals were fine and that we'd been given the chance to go home if we wanted to, but since we chose to stay her wait time will be longer for a doctor. This was not true- NOBODY came to update us on her and we were not told how she was even when asked. We would not have chosen to stay 12 am - 6 am if she was stable enough to wait for her normal vet. They kept my baby back there for 6 hours and never communicated with us on her status, and we didn't speak with a tech or doctor once. We will never be back. read more

If I could go lower than 1, i would. This place is absolutely horrible. They will destroy you. Long story, but I need people to know mine. On Dec 2nd, 2024, my weenie dog was let out to potty and got attacked (in a fenced-in yard). I got to her wrapped her up and took off to our vet. Our vet assessed her, took x-rays, and decided he was not equipped to perform the surgery she needed. Her jaw was severely broken in 4/5 places. The rest of her overall was well. He called Blue Pearl and let them know he is sending us to the he gave her a sedative to keep her comfortable and sent all the xrays to them. So we took off to bluepearl, which is about an hr from us. Upon arrival, we checked in and was told to sit down. My dog is bleeding everywhere about 45 mins later they came and got her, and I was told to wait. I waited 4.5 hrs of just dread. They have 2 glass rooms and a lady was in one with her pet and they put it to sleep right there for everyone to see this poor lady holding her baby cry im scared to death and just cry even more. Finally, someone came and pulled me to a room. The dr came in and said that they really haven't looked at her yet but based on everything 5am tue morning they will sedate her do a ct to make sure they are not missing anything and take her straight back into surgery. I questioned her overall well-being if she would have a good quality of life. I was assured that even though all surgery's are risky, she overall is healthy and everything else looks great they see no reason she wouldn't do wonderful. I was told the surgery and everything she needs will be 6000-6500, and I agree to anything for her. They came back in with the paperwork any told me I have to pay now but it will be 8000$ and could go up to 10000$ I couldn't understand this but kept being told this is what you have to do. I was already in a horrible state, so I was worried about her. I paid the $ 8000 that night. 5am tue comes im holding my phone waiting for the call she is in surgery I get nothing till 9 am a text that she is stable and comfortable and they will be starting the surgery soon. 1pm come haven't heard anything so I call. The surgery still hasn't been done and moved to Wednesday at 5am. Mind you, her jaw is just kinda hanging there she cannot eat or drink. I'm heartbroken knowing she is just in a cage alone and scared. I want to be there, but an hr away with children is hard. I told them to please keep me updated that I will be there when she gets out of surgery in the morning. Again, I ask if she will have a great chance of recovery, and he says yes, she is strong and healthy, just a broken jaw, nothing else. Wednesday, Dec 4th. 5am comes, i haven't slept any waiting for the text. I finally get an update that she is doing good and went out to potty. Everything is looking great, and they will get her ready for surgery. At this point, they have me full of hope hope that my baby will come home and be ok. I hope that she is in the best hands. An hour later, I get a call from the vet that I need to come in. I was already heading that way, thinking surely the surgery is done it's after 1 pm. I'll never forget being set down in the waiting room for an hr and then finally pulled back and being told they will need more money I told them I do not have anymore I just gave them 8k why do they need more if you quoted me 6-6500 originally. They still haven't done the surgery for 3 days she has sat with her jaw broken in 5 places 2 days she has sat alone in a cage. 2 days of being confused and in pain. They never even cleaned the blood off of her. I was then told that all the sudden her brain is swelling, and she just needed to be put down. I was hysterical all this hope you filled me with for you to just leave her there and never even attempt the surgery. Why? My son and I are sitting in this room holding our baby crying. Behind the door all we can hear is the drs making fun of someone (i just pray it wasnt my son)saying that's a country fed boy a nurse is cracking up and saying it's corn fed and they are just loudly laughing. And I understand that life goes and and people do there on thing but them and the dr and nurse should have more respect for their patients. They come in and give her the medicine, and she goes to sleep forever in my arms. Then come back with the bill and says well it wasn't quite 8000 so we will refund you that little bit, but why if you never even done the surgery was it over 7k when I was originally quoted 6-65k. This place will stab you when you are already down they will fill you with hope just to brutally rip it from you. They will take every dime you have and just say o well when you have nomore to give. I recently had to take my dog, Sam, to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, and my experiences with them have been truly mixed. When Sam was hospitalized from Wednesday, October 9th, to Sunday, October 13th, I was very impressed with the compassionate care he received. I could tell the team genuinely cared for him, and it made a difficult time much easier. Dr. Nguyen, Dr. Gardner, and the care staff, particularly Dunaway and her team, went above and beyond. Dunaway left a lasting impression on me--her empathy and dedication were clear, not just in the way she handled cost discussions but in how she connected with Sam. She even held my hand during tough moments, showing true compassion and sensitivity. However, my opinion of Blue Pearl took a sharp turn when I returned with Sam on October 29th at around 2:30 a.m. The experience that night felt like a completely different hospital. The person handling the estimates was cold and seemed almost indifferent to the gravity of the situation. When I decided against euthanizing Sam there, she appeared upset and even rude, particularly in her blunt comment about CPR having only a 5% chance to live. It was heart-wrenching to be in a situation where I didn't know if I would be bringing Sam home, yet the staff's approach made me feel unsupported and isolated. Another concern is the hospital's internal communication. They use radios for constant updates, and it was unsettling to hear announcements about payments or account statuses over the radios. This transparency felt out of place and added a layer of discomfort. At one point, I was sent a payment link after forgetting my credit card and was told that treatment wouldn't start until payment was confirmed, which left me confused and worried--what would they do for Sam if the payment didn't go through immediately? It seems that the priority is getting the money and then we'll worry about the pet later. Blue Pearl also seems to operate heavily on financial transactions rather than compassionate care. It seems everyone has a number, here were ours. My first hospitalization costs for Sam totaled $6,000, with additional payments of $1,007 and $1,078. This was just for his initial visit. When I returned the second time, I spent $900 just to pick him up and take him to his final place, only to be told at the end that the total was actually $922--so I had to swipe my card for another $22. It's disheartening to see how they seem to play on people's love for their pets. There was no room for installment payments, no flexibility if I couldn't pay on the spot, and no understanding if my funds weren't immediately available. If I hadn't been able to cover these costs right away, I don't know what would have happened to Sam. Well, actually that's not true, he would have passed before hospitalization. In summary, Blue Pearl has some incredibly compassionate staff who seem to truly care about their patients and their owners. But my later experience raised serious concerns about their policies and handling of sensitive situations. I walked away feeling like every interaction was a transaction, and any trust I had in them was lost. Training in compassion, better communication, and a more humane approach to payment policies would greatly benefit their team and the clients who come to them in times of distress. read more

On Feb. 13th, my vet saw my 5-year-old Sheltie for dehydration and not eating. By midmorning, he transferred him to Blue Pearl Spring, diagnosed with ideopathic IMHA (no underlying conditions) and a coagulation issue, and in dire need of a blood transfusion. Several days later, he was stable and armed with a large medication protocol he came home. With an appt x1 week for more BW, and more to follow. March 1st, he was in respiratory distress and I rushed him back. They stabilized him with O2, and x-rays showed a small blood clot in his lower lungs. We agreed he would stay the night, wean him off the O2 and meet him with Dr. Dropkin the next morning. I got the call at 3am that he passed away (alone) they advised me to take a couple of days and call and let them know what I wanted to do. So I called, I think, about 24- 48 hours later, when I thought I could have a coherent conversation about it. They explained the options, I chose private cremation & memorial package, i waa told it would take about 2 weeks. I advised them to send me the invoice, and said I need to move some $$ around and would take care of it by the end of the month, not a problem. (Between both vets, two ER visits, a hospital stay with blood transfusion, follow up appts, and his multiple (6)  prescriptions at CVS with no insurance, I was already out over $10,000 in a matter of 2 -2.5 weeks). A couple of days later, I received a very sincere message from Dr. Dropkin, he was on her mind that evening, she wished we had a different outcome, and she assured me that she saw and knew and we did all we could we for him and she knows that he was LOVED and we would have continued to do whatever it took to save him (it was so kind I saved it). I sent her and the staff a heartfelt thank you note and my favorite pic of Ghost playing in the pool. I told them I wish they could have seen or known him before this happened. March 20 I received a TEXT (not a phone call) from Jazmyne in their office stating since I haven't paid his invoice (another $900, small compared to what I've paid to date) HE WOULD GO OUT THAT DAY FOR COMMUNAL CREMATION AND I WOULDN'T GET ANY AHSES OR MEMORIAL FOR HIM. SHE would adjust my invoice and email, if I had questions, call her. I immediately called and simultaneously paid the invoice, Jazmyne was not available. The woman who answered the phone assured me she updated the computer, and he would be sent out for PRIVATE CREMATION, everything was fine. She apologized and said, "Don't worry, it's all taken care of." Even text me the same. Yesterday, I reread rhe text and thought. NOPE-NOT SATISFIED. So I called and spoke to the PM. When I read the TEXT to her, she was appalled and truly apologetic this happened and pulled up my account to take a look. I mentioned, I have never received an invoice for the March ER/hospital and memorial paid for. She then told me NOONE updated the account the day before, and my dog was still flagged for COMMUNAL CREMATION... I told her I need verification they have my dog, and if not, I'm on my way to their office. She called back and assured me he was there. I could tell she was beside herself over the whole situation and assured me she will get this all taken care of, and had me forward the text message string starting with Jazmyne's message etc. However, by then (hysterically crying again) I told her I need proof it's him, I can't believe anything at this point, please send a pic of his paws, which she did. I asked if he would go out today, Wednesday, & she thought so but would be in contact. The PM has been sympathetic, helpful, and very apologetic, but this NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. I have spent the evening, spiraling, crying again because it is just a cluster at this point.It's like I just lost him all over again. They  NEVER said he would sit their until I paid that invoice. They just assured me it would all be taken care of and take about 2 weeks. I decided, if they can't GAURANTEE he is going out today, I would arrange for his pick up today and processed on my own, and I get him back in a matter of days, not two weeks. I called the provider, who was highly recommended as soon as they opened. She assured me he was already picked up and on his way. Later, there were still no invoices, I asked the PM about them and double-checked that he was gone. Her reply was, "He would be picked tomorrow, blah blah." I replied,"Really? I already contacted the crematorium and confirmed he went today." She said oh I just asked what our pick up days were and told you that, but have now checked the freezer and they are empty! Needlessto say, I called back to crematorium, and verified him by breed, and markings, she also marked him high priority and he will be delivered to MY vet asap. Again, the care we received 100% satisfied. The front desk, accounting. and especially  Jazmyne should not be dealing with grieving parents. I can't say good enough things about BluePearl-Spring My dog tore her ACL and required TPLO surgery. She's a very anxious dog and I'm a very anxious dog mom. Her consultation was great with Dr. Hinton. Not only was she so sweet to my dog but she was very thorough in explaining why she needed the surgery and how the surgery would go. During and after the surgery the staff sent me text updates and photos of my girl. They seem to truly care about animals and making them feel better. And not just the animals - their owners too. Believe it or not I've been to animal hospitals and veterinary offices that I will never return to bc we felt like just another dollar bill and not patients. But, not at BluePearl. Hopefully my dog never needs another specialty surgery but if she does we will 100% be back. I highly recommend BluePearl spring read more
