Awesome cocktails and food in a fun yet relaxed setting. You are very well taken care of by all the staff who definitely pay attention to detail and make you feel welcome every time. It's great for just one drink (not something I practice) or as a place to eat, drink and spend the whole night..you will not be disappointed either way. I picked this bar for a first date with a hot French artist. The low key lighting and subtle decor were a hit with him. He said it felt very European for post modern Brooklyn. It was a romantic setting and the wine was delicious, staff was attentive, yet also gave us space to talk over the course of three hours. I highly recommend this cute, hidden gem. This is a great neighborhood bar that mixes some fantastic drinks and serves great food. If you like coffee, try the amazing Kickstarter cocktail made with rum, espresso, turbinado, coffee bitters and a lemon twist. Wait staff and bartenders were really friendly and helpful. A little bit of an older crowd but very relaxed and fun atmosphere. read more

I dropped in last night with some friends after the Celebrate Brooklyn concert in Prospect Park (Keb' Mo' ROCKS). We just got one drink each before heading out, but they were excellent drinks. I only tried my own, the Sazerac, but it was well-made and presented. Everyone else seemed happy with their choices as well. The decor was beautiful and the vibe was older - no young drunk rowdy people taking shots. I don't remember specifically whether it was loud music or bad acoustics making everyone else's conversations really loud, but for whatever reason, my friends had to shout at one another to be heard. It was bad enough eventually that we were all cracking up over how deaf we felt, and I eventually got up off my bar stool at end of the group and stood in the middle of my friends so I could hear everyone. Other than the bad acoustics, I don't have any specific complaints, but there was also nothing completely fantastic to tip this place over into four or five stars. The food looked stellar, though, and hopefully I'll come back and be blown away. read more

Great cocktail bar in Park Slope. It's main competitor in terms of cocktails is Wolf and Deer a few blocks up but Blueprint has a wider variety of signature drinks, bigger space, an outdoor area which is great when the weather is warm. My personal favorite drinks are the Old Fashioned and 1821 Manhattan but my friends have raved about the Dark and Stormy and many of their other drinks. Atmosphere is pretty chill, no music so you can enjoy your drinks and conversations. Will definitely be back here! read more

I only come in here if Justin is working. He's the best mixologist this side of the Hudson, as far as I'm concerned. He knows about a thousand cocktails off the top of his head, and he's unafraid to suggest drinks to match your mood or whim. Plus, he's really sexy. Can't go wrong when you see Pork Butt on the menu. It was delish, especially the kale salad on the side. The Pork Butt itself was a bit too flavorful for a brunch item, but that's my only complaint. I liked the ambiance and the waiter was generally nice. I really recommend the cappuccino... aside from it being delicious, they have these cute little rock looking sugar lumps... makes me appreciate the amount of detail they put into these things. read more

There are a lot of cute places in Brooklyn that have kinda high end cocktails and small plates. A lot. But many of those places fall short. You end up spending a lot of money, but the drinks aren't quite right and the food is mediocre to bad. Blueprint, however, does it right. The service is great, the cocktails are delicious, and the food is really good. If you're in the mood for classy drinks, Blueprint is the way to go. read more

The first time I came here, it was great. Service was fine, food was good, nice atmosphere. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I decided to go for our anniversary. We were one of 3 two-tops that were seated, as well as a couple at the bar ordering food, and a four-top in the front. We ordered food before all the other two-tops and the couple at the bar, yet received our food well after them. My boyfriend ordered the hummus plate and I ordered a cheese plate to start. After leaving the hummus plate, the waitress did not return to our table to check on us at all. I ended up waiting almost 15 minutes after my boyfriend's food was brought out; no food in sight for me. My boyfriend wanted more bread and so had to get up from the table, approach the waitress, and ask for it. He also politely asked if the cheese plate would be coming out, which she responded snappily to. She brought out my entree (still no cheese plate). When I asked her when it would be coming, she informed me that the kitchen was "busy," which she hadn't bothered to come and tell us during the 25 minutes that we had waited. Additionally, during those 25 minutes, she stood behind the bar and flirted with a customer and ate snacks, instead of expediting in the kitchen as she should have been doing. During our meal, she didn't bother to check on us at all either; she continued to chit-chat with the customer. I've worked in food service and my father owns a restaurant. I rarely criticize folks who work in restaurants so harshly, because I know how tough it can be. But this was truly some of the worst service that I've ever had the misfortune of having and it actually ruined our dinner. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

Had drinks here with friends for my 30th birthday. The staff was helpful in reserving some of the tables on the patio for us ahead of time, and the patio itself was perfect for drinking cocktails on a summer evening. this place makes excellent drinks. cocktails are fancy and delicious, appropriately priced (if you ask me -- on the expensive side, but not so much that you wouldn't get a second round). we didn't get any food, but the couple next to us did and it looked pretty fantastic -- a huge plate of freshly sliced meat and cheese and olives. the bartenders were friendly -- it was a saturday night at 8 and we could chit chat with them at the bar. it gives you a "weather up" vibe, but takes itself just a little less seriously and was far less crowded. highly recommend for an upscale drink in the north slope hood... read more
