Had a trade association event here recently. Definitely a great place to enjoy the Thames from. Great view and perspective of Tower Bridge, and the food that was served also met good standards. I would come back here even to just have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. I do not know how easy it is to get parking here as I walked from my hotel.

The view itself deserves at least 4 stars! Blue Print is on the second floor of what was originally the London Design Museum (now closed and moved to High Street Kensington). We were drawn in by the three course menu for £25 (two course for £20) for a Friday night dinner. We didn't make a booking but were immediately seated at a table by the expansive window. We appreciated the two pea soups courtesy of the chef and complimentary bread basket to start. We ended up going for just mains instead of the set course menu. The flat ironed steak with peppercorn sauce was tasty but seemed to be more oven baked then pan fried? My boyfriend had the veal and was very pleased. Prices are on par with restaurants in the area but the views of the Thames, Tower Bridge, and everything in between is a huge plus.

You can usually find a deal on one or other of the popular websites but the restaurant always has a set menu offer. Excellent food and slick service. Considering the location, overlooking the River Thames and Tower Bridge this restaurant is excellent value for money. Book ahead for a Friday or Saturday night.

The food was really good... But definitely the main strength of this place is the amazing views of the Thames! If you go during the months of summer some of the windows are open and the breeze is really refreshing. Perhaps the only caveat is that I found the chairs somewhat uncomfortable!

I had lunch on Christmas Eve. First of all I didn't know that there is no need to book restaurants this day.(quite different from in Japan.)Almost all restaurants were empty this day. Anyway as soon as I entered this restaurant, I was blown away with the amazing view from the window. This restaurant must be suitable for couples.Night view must be differently wonderful as well. The taste of each dish were all amazing. I quite liked the pumpkin risotto with the rich and a bit salty taste!!! The stuff charged us more than they were supposed to do by mistake...we realized that before leaving but we left it unsaid. Merry Christmas

What a pleasant little gem of a place near Bermondsey station - went for a weeknight dinner before going to a gallery opening at White Cube . We had the set dinner - has beer battered oysters and the bavette steak which were both hearty and good. Mom got the duck confit with creamed artichokes which was super on poinT. Service was pleasant and attentive - view was awesome and would recommend to come back just for that

Bottomless Bloody Mary's with a side of cod, squid ink risotto and chicory.

Amazing Sunday lunch! The beef in particular - comes on its own slab with vegetables separately, great for groups - a little less formal.

The restaurant is in a cute little spot with a few other restaurants. Great vibe with indoor and some outdoor seating The fresh fish and wine pairings are outstanding. We started with sea scallops which melted in your mouth. So good! Then we got a bottle of white wine with fish pairings (they had 8 local options the night we visited). I had the sea bass, and my husband had the trout. So good that I picked that sea bass apart all the way to the bone, which is saying a lot given that it was a very meaty, generous portion already. I tasted the trout, and it was equally amazing. Very impressive and fresh! I wish we could've actually tried some dessert because others around us looked very happy, but we were so full it didn't make sense. If you like fish, go out of your way and stop here! You won't regret it.

It was so flavorful and almost had a meat-like texture, wrapped perfectly in the crisp phyllo dough. My partner went for the lamb roast, featuring tender, juicy pieces of lamb that tasted fantastic. We also enjoyed some pigs in a blanket and a side of stuffing. There was so much food that we shared our pigs in a blanket with the lovely ladies at the next table. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to ask for the gravy on the side of the stuffing so it doesn't get overwhelmed.

The space itself is beautiful decorated - some trendy wall paper paired with warm wood tones. Its inviting, cozy, has a very pretty bar. We were seated in the main dining room where the manager explained to us that the Brigade is a social enterprise. Meaning, they help to employ and educate members of the homeless community in London so that they can lift themselves out of poverty and enter into the food/bev industry. Great food with a great cause, SIGN ME UP! On to the food - it was VERY good. We ordered two local beers. I loved mine, it was a mead style that wasn't too sweet, but perfect to wash down all the noms. We started with sourdough bread. This was perfectly toasted and paired with butter topped with crystalized salt. YUM. We also had roasted bone marrow and the cornish rump of beef. The bone marrow was good but it was the beef that really blew me away. Brigade uses local London ingredients and this beef was no exception. It was perfectly cooked to rare and I enjoyed every bite. We also got a side of chips, because carbs are life. These chips were SO GOOD. Admittedly, we came to Brigade because we saw a photo on Yelp with fish and chips, which they no longer serve. So happy we ended up here to explore the menu, as a meal filled with carbs and beef is always on my favorites list, and it was no different here. Service was super friendly, and we ended up getting a discount on the bill because they had a promotion going on in November. Double win!

Before I go on, I have to thank the staff for allowing us to be seated because the restaurant was fully booked yet they managed to squeeze us in. That was so generous of them and we just want to acknowledge them. Ok. So, the portion was generous and beautifully plated. The steak was tender, rich, and slow-cooked to perfection, packed with deep, savory flavor from the ale. Every bite was hearty and comforting -- exactly what you want when you're in London. The gravy was silky and robust, perfect for dipping those thick-cut chips, which were golden on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It also came with fresh greens, roasted tomatoes, and crispy onion rings that added great texture and balance to the dish. You can tell this is proper pub food done right -- no shortcuts, just bold, satisfying flavor. If you're looking for a classic, filling English meal that absolutely delivers, this is it. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Not a bad start to our first night in London. Bonus: They have a downstairs pub that stretches across 3-4 rooms so definitely grab yourself a pint after dinner. I've eaten eel a bunch growing up so I knew what it would taste like. The counter lady even asked if I ate eel before as I was ordering lol. I suppose that's good they look out for customers who never had it before and may not like it. The eel was ok but I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. They are very generous with the mashed potatoes. It's recommended to add lots of vinegar to the dish. They offer regular vinegar and one with chilis inside. I went for the ones with chili. The offerings are humble and an acquired taste. I'm so happy that I tried it and got to see what the fuss was all about.
