    Matcha

Great place to come. It's street parking. I came on a Sunday and it really wasn't too busy. I like to get their biscuits. It comes with butter and jam. They have really great coffee but this trip I opted for a seasonal Matcha and it was delicious. The workers were very nice and also gave me a glass of water to go.

Stumbled across this cafe while walking around the neighborhood and decided to pop in. The interior is really simple and so is the menu. Got the specialty matcha and a chai drink and both were really good! Seating is limited but there were a few people working and studying still. Great for a grab and go. Prices are on the higher end but I think the quality is there to back it up. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Cute little coffee shop. Went in during the loop ice carnival. We didnt know it when we ordered but they were closing in 10min. They were courteous & made our drinks quickly. Ordered a special- orange cardamom latte & a regular latte. Ordered the large size which was ~$8. The large isnt really that large- maybe I am used to gas station or starbucks sizes. The coffee was had good flavor. Just pricey!

So I walked in at 3:30 on a saturday and this place is jumping?? I suppose caffeine knows no time cutoff, lol. The interior has an interesting design. A few big islands for studying and high tops for groups. It is all very open, at the counter I almost did not know where to order lol. The worker was great. Friendly, quick, happy! Coffee was solid, too. A latte with ample ice is a good latte, regardless of flavor. Don't worry, had plenty of flavor, too! Super solid coffee shop. I assume it may be tough to study here as it is on the loop so it probably gets loud and sees tons of traffic. It will certainly be a mainstay for me any time I hit the Loop!

Great customer service! However, my egg biscuit was cold in the inside. Additionally, the matcha didn't taste like fresh matcha should taste. The biscuit on the sandwich was delicious and warm, flaky and yummy.

Caffeine is chemistry I guess or at least Blueprint Coffee thinks so. Listen, if my coffee arrives in an Erlenmeyer flask, I already know I'm in the right place. Blueprint Coffee isn't just serving up a drink; they're conducting a full-on science experiment with every pour. And honestly, I'm here for it. The place was packed because of course it was. Good coffee attracts a crowd, and St. Louis just so happens to have one of the best coffee shop scenes out there. A carefully measured and extracted moment of joy in a flask. Consider me converted.

Blueprint is my favorite coffee shop! My current obsession: Cherry Cola Espressoda. They also have the best chocolate chip cookies! The staff is super welcoming and there is a lot of space to work but it does get noisy

The service is great! The baristas work hard to bring the best coffee. The food is all made in store, and the coffee is roasted so often that always makes the coffee taste and feel fresh! Even for a busy Saturday, the wait is worth it. I got a matcha latte and I have also ordered a biscuit which was yummy!

Food: 5 Stars Service: 5 Stars I'm not quite the coffee connoisseur, but I can appreciate the intentions being made at Blueprint Coffee. The beans they source from places like Ethiopia and El Salvador are luscious and well-rounded. The brews definitely lack the heavy bitterness you often taste with commercial roasts. Their breakfast menu is delightful with handmade biscuits and sandwiches.

One of my high school classmates owns and operates Blueprint Coffee so I feel I will always support. The coffee is great, the staff is wonderful and the customers are one of a kind. A kind gentleman who ordered many bags of coffee from there gave myself and my friend his free coffee coupons. That was really nice of him! #PayItForward

    Overnight oats and strawberry matcha

The overnight oats are fantastic, and all of the drinks are high quality! I felt the price point was a little high for the drinks but in this economy they're hardly an outlier. Lots of workspace and seating, with lots of natural light! The service was great, if you're staying they'll bring your order straight to your table. Chairs are a little uncomfy but they all have back support, even the bar stools! WiFi available, street parking required. I do not believe they charge for alternative milks

Review Visit: July 30th, 2018 Is Blueprint Coffee a good blue print for coffee? Sadly, no. In 2017, I was in St. Louis for a Coheed and Cambria concert and discovered Blueprint Coffee. Unfortunately, they closed 5 minutes before I got there. So, I made a mental note to visit it the next time I was in town. Fast forward to 2018 and I am in town again to see a Cardinals game with my mom. We only had a few minutes to grab some coffee before the game, so we were in and out super quick. So... why isn't Blueprint a blue print for coffee shops? The interior was pretty plain. Not that that is bad. It's just very plain with no décor. We don't visit coffeehouses for the décor or paint colors. We visit them for coffee. How was the coffee? It was interesting. I ordered a Tekton v12, which according to the menu was a 'Colombia/Guatemala' filtered coffee. It had a hint of chestnut, I think. It was alright. Not something I would order again but not bad enough to not finish. The whole menu, which was on an awkward clipboard, is weird. It was kind of hard to decipher and figure out how to order a plain black coffee. I'd definitely recommend them having a bit more cohesive and a better laid out menu. They also offered teas and food but since we were in a rush, I didn't get a chance to see what they offered. Last but not least... the customer service. The barista must have been having a bad day or something because he showed no enthusiasm when I placed my order and when he handed it to me. That whole mood of 'you aren't welcome here' was actually felt throughout the entire place. Now maybe it was because I was on a time restraint, but I definitely was happy to leave the place. Now with the disclaimer. Just because I had a 'less-than-stellar' experience here doesn't mean you should avoid it. The online reviews are great and the place was packed when I was there. They opened a 2nd location, so business must be going great. Go there, try it yourself and form your own opinion.

Smells amazing in here. Nice baristas. Pretty blue. I enjoyed the coconut syrup in the cold brew. Good to stop in if youre in the loop.

The coffee shop is on the right and you enter there and get in line for the counter ordering. There is a case with treats to tempt you right there and a stack of menu's to peruse. Ordering is easy and the cashier was friendly. I decided on a salted coconut latte, on their seasonal items board. I had decided on Avocado toast, it tempted me most as it was served on Union Loafers bread, who can resist that? Not me. I was given a number and chose to sit at the counter, lots of tables and counter space and additional room up the stairs. When my name was called for my latte, I was excited! It was beautiful! I really enjoyed the flavor, not too sweet and just the right amount of coconut. A server brought my avocado toast. It was also beautiful. All you need is positioned at the end of the counter, utensils, napkins, go boxes, hot sauce, etc. I liked the presentation but immediately spread the microgreens over the whole toast, moved the egg to the center and cut the toast in half forgetting to take a picture! Darn, camera always eats first but I totally forgot. I enjoyed the toast and would order it again. Good food, friendly staff!

I personally prefer my drinks on the sweeter side, so I would have loved a little more syrup in both of the drinks we tried today, but they were still really good! The few 2-person tables were full, so we ultimately ended up sitting at a 6-top even though there were only two of us. Overall, such a cute little find and definitely somewhere I'd come back too

But why would you want to eat food from a coffee shop? I've been visiting coffee shops on the reg for the past several weeks, and I've repeatedly made the mistake of ordering breakfast sandwiches, burritos and what have you. I have no one to blame for this but myself. I knew going in that it wasn't a good idea. I just couldn't help myself. This must be how people end up on drugs. There was a race going on nearby, when I visited 23 West yesterday. I wasn't involved, though I was there in a running capacity. My running group just happened to be meeting there. We ran a few miles in the neighborhood before our visit. By the time we got there, there was quite a crowd. The contrast between the sweaty, disheveled runners and the sleek, modern decor was striking. This place has an interior like some showroom where you're pressured into taking out a high-interest loan to purchase jewelry of questionable provenance. Are they in cahoots with the bank next door? Both buildings, I notice, have a similar facade. 23 West is painted the same shade of gray as a post-McPlayPlace-era McDonald's, when they started trying to look like a Chipotle. Some girls on apps prefer it if you didn't take them to get coffee. It's not expensive enough. If you can get one to agree to such a date, you might consider bringing them here. It's classy. The coffee is good too. I went with the Raspberry Cheesecake Cold Brew, a seasonal item. It was magnificent. I ordered mine to-go, so I could enjoy it at the tables out front, and in case 12 showed up. They give it to you in a tall plastic cup with no lid, filled to the point where it's nearly impossible to carry without spilling, presumably so you can sample the delicious cheesecake-like froth and probably get a little bit of it in your mustache. You can't really sip it with a straw. The coffee itself is surprisingly robust, given the depth of the raspberry flavor. It's an odd idea for a drink, and not something I'd usually order, but the execution was on point. I also went with a Cherry Almond Scone. I had to eat something, for emotional reasons, and it looked interesting. I'm no expert on scones, but I enjoyed it. It may have been the most dense baked good I've ever eaten, to the point where it could probably be used as a weapon, in a pinch. I know it's supposed to be similar to a biscuit and that in England, where they're consumed on the reg, a biscuit is known as a cookie (why?). It's a lot dryer than even the biscuits at a Lee's Famous Recipe, but intentionally so, I guess because it's designed to be eaten with a beverage. A hot beverage is probably ideal, but I made it work with a cold brew. It's the kind of thing you don't realize until after the fact. Next time I'll know. If and when I do return, I'll be dressed as a magician, possibly with a young lady in tow.
