I'm always down for an empanada, but I'm also quite picky with them and CoffeeStamp did not disappoint! Super friendly staff, a fun menu - items wise and display wise, and DELICIOUS coffee. I highly recommend coming by here for a tasty empanada (or several) and get the chimichurri sauce!

First time visiting this charming coffee stop in St. Louis that is minority owned. They roast their own coffee right next door. I think someone told me the owners family is from Honduras, where some of the coffee is sourced. I'd like to know more about this story (on my next visit). Service was good and engaging. They had more traffic coming through than I imagined. I enjoyed a lovely mocha and my coworker enjoyed black coffee. Noise level was moderate. We were able to have a business conversation even with music playing and a steady stream of customers flowing. Highly recommend giving CoffeeStamp a try.

It was a great experience! Very trendy great to take a young person or someone that really knows coffee! The person/young lady that was working with me had a great smile and was helpful in making my decision it is pricey but so is every where else! I also got an ham and cheese empanada it was yummy too!

Really innovative menu and coffee syrups. The breakfast empanada was DELICIOUS. The pastry it was baked in was freshly out of the oven and was warm, flaky and stuffed (definitely money's worth). Great service even though they were busy.

I haven't a clue about the makings of good coffee, nor do I have any baseline to judge what a "good" cup of coffee is. That said, Coffeestamp just served me an absolutely beautiful latte. I always thought coffee was coffee, but this latte proved that wrong. It went down silky smooth. A slight smokiness (not burnt flavor) lingered on your taste buds with subtle earthy notes. But, it was still light, with just a bit of bitter. The interior was super dope. Given the name, they have really leaned into their theme of well traveled coffee. The staff were wonderful. It was a pretty quiet sunday morning inside. A few small groups bonding and connecting over their coffee. If you want somewhere quaint, communal, and driven by good coffee take a trip to Coffeestamp!

I love when my matcha is flavorful and creamy, and coffeestamp does it just like that. I asked the barista how they make the matcha and they were knowledgeable of the process, using traditional powder and water to whisk it. I added vanilla bean syrup to mine with half of the sweetness and it was to die for. Not pictured, but I also got the burrito AM with chicken and spicy mayo, which is my favorite thing on the menu. I also highly recommend any of their empanadas if you're not super hungry. The burrito AM with chicken and spicy mayo fills me perfectly. I love that they describe the menu items so there's never any confusion! Of course, their chocolate chip stamp cookies are a staple no matter what I get. The cafe itself is wonderfully decorated and gives a homey vibe with extra study/ seating upstairs for a pleasant view. It's never too loud in there. So glad to consider coffeestamp as a part of my community.

Reeeeally good empanadas and the dirty horchata blew my taste buds away. Pretty busy on a Sunday morning and they were sold out of the breakfast empanada, but they still had plenty of options. Decent service, would go back again to feast on more empanadas.

Loved this local coffee shop. Great empanadas for both breakfast or lunch. The brunch option is a must try! Delicious espresso drinks as well although mine was a little sweeter than I would normally like. Stop by if you're looking for a tasty snack with you're coffee!

Every single time I come here, I leave saying "mmmm". You can't go wrong with any of the empanadas, but my favorites are the breakfast and the ham & cheese. If there is a special empanada, they have definitely try that too! Their coffee is also incredible, I honestly don't know how they can make almond milk so creamy. Today I got a Cortado with almond milk and their rosemary rosebud syrup. Every single sip I take of this drink I literally say "mmmm" afterwards and the same thing with biting into the hot, gooey, ham & cheese empanada that I'm currently enjoying.

On this visit, I ordered a breakfast bowl that had potatoes, eggs, cheese, spinach and tomatoes, with a side of toast. I also ordered a black pepper & rosemary scone, and a cold brew coffee. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food comes out quickly, and the shaded patio is a great place to sit and enjoy your meal. The espresso shake was absolutely delicious, but the Lou Melt was the standout of my visit. The bread had the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft on the inside, and unlike many steak burgers , it wasn't greasy at all. The French Dip was just okay. It could have used a bit more flavor, and I wish there had been more meat on the sandwich. The bread, however, was fresh, airy, and incredibly soft, which helped make it enjoyable. The Caesar salad was another highlight. The kale was massaged just enough to make it tender while still keeping a nice crunch, and every bite left me wanting more. The Greek salad wasn't quite as memorable. The dressing tasted mostly like oil with only a slight hint of vinegar, so it felt like it was missing the bold, tangy flavors I was expecting. I also ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was excellent. It was smooth, not overly sweet, and didn't have the bitter taste that some coffee drinks can have. Overall, Mokabe's offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, consistently friendly service, and a menu with several standout items. While a couple of dishes could use a little more seasoning, I'd happily come back for the Lou Melt, Caesar salad, coffee, and the overall experience.

I was able to get off drugs and reconnect with my family as the result of eating a burrito. You can imagine my excitement, then, when it was announced that a group I run with was meeting at this Tower Grove South location. I wasn't crazy about getting up early the day after America's 250th birthday, and there was the slight possibility that I'd barf during my run around Tower Grove Park (people might think I was back on drugs), but I was willing to risk it for the, erm, burrito. Actually, it occurred to me that I might try something else, for the sake of citizen food journalism. Then my decision was made for me when I saw that they carry a bagel with lox. I've eaten literally a million bagels with lox, going back to the 1980s, but only either at home or at places that aren't very good, like Einstein Bros. Alas, I was informed that the bagel with lox was currently unavailable, because they were out of lox. Which struck me as odd, given that lox is not served fresh. It's not like they had to go pull it out of the water that morning or have it flown in from Alaska, packed in ice. Was there a run on the lox due to a nearby media-industry convention? Did they accidentally leave it sitting out overnight? I imagine that would smell crazy. I went with the Everything, which may have been the better choice anyway. Named after the famous bagel seasoning, it's essentially a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel with cream cheese and a tomato. But describing it that way doesn't really do it justice. You have to attempt to wrap your lips around it in order to truly appreciate it. No Diddy. It's the bagel-sandwich equivalent of their legendary burrito, and it might be just as good. The bacon and egg are perfectly cooked, with the egg just slightly underdone and the bacon nice and crisp but still with a little bit of chew. The helping of cream cheese is weirdly generous, to the point where just the cream cheese on a bagel would be a fairly substantial sandwich. The tomato, which was a little bit tart, made for a nice accent. It comes wrapped in one of those diapers they used to use on some of the bigger burgers at Hardee's, to keep it from falling apart the moment you try to bite into it. You'd still eat all the individual elements using your fingers, because you're a savage and because they're that good, but it wouldn't be the same. It's a testament to the thoughtfulness and the ingenuity of the kitchen staff at Upshot that they thought to do that.

They looked very much like crêpes and, to me, tasted very similar to crêpes as well. The coffee was probably one of the more interesting parts of the experience. It was made with Indonesian coffee and green Indonesian spices that gave it a unique color and appearance that reminded me a little of matcha. Definitely something different to try. I initially ordered bacon and eggs, but unfortunately they were out of bacon.
