Conveniently located in Delmar's Loop is Black Lab! Very natural & open space for a coffee date or to get some work done! They offer free WiFi! Bonus! I got the salted caramel lavender iced latte & it was delish. Definitely recommend. It also came out quick & fresh. The baristas were super nice. It's sort of hard to find, go through the main doors from the parking lot & keep going through the corridor area. You'll eventually bump into it!

Service was quick and the atmosphere was good for studying or for a quick chat with friends. Venue was pretty small and there was limited seating. Latte was really tasty, and the bagel was good too! Overall solid pick for coffee on the loop.

Tucked away inside Lewis Collaborative is perhaps the best latte in aft Louis. Friendly barristers, friendly owner, awesome coffee, what more can you want? Oh yeah, an awesome space!

Stopped in to co-work and we loved how beautiful and peaceful the space was. The staff was very sweet and we ordered their chocolate chip cookies (really delicious), a cold brew, a salted caramel latte with oat milk. Everything tasted great and most of all we felt like we could sit down and get some work done.

kinda hard to find from the parking lot. if you parked there go ahead and come in the doors with the intercom (they're all unlocked). the baristas were super sweet and recommend parking on the street for easier access! i love the art murals located outside and all the outdoor seatings. they have nice personal touches such as many outlets outside. we came at 10 on a tuesday and it was pretty busy inside with families, but we didn't mind sitting outside. the menu was a little small, but like a typical local coffee shop. we were hoping for some seasonal drinks, but other than that no complaints!

We walked from the heman park area and found this coffee shop relatively easily. Right off the Delmar loop and next to the Ucity library this is a great spot to visit & study/work at. My sister and I ordered an iced oat, honey latte, chocolate chip cookie, cinnamon roll and cold brew. The service was quick, the staff seemed busy and focused. The ambiance was spacious and clean. There was a beautiful, outdoor courtyard with tables and bench swings. Overall, we had a good experience. I rated this four stars because the iced drinks were not large enough! Would like to see more size options.

Nestled within the Lewis Collaborative, this coffee shop offers a great ambiance perfect for a relaxed hangout or productive work session. The art-filled space adds character to the cozy atmosphere, making it a welcoming spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. Sourcing their beans from Proud Mary Coffee and Common Room Roasters ensures high-quality brews and espresso. It's wonderful to have another fantastic coffee option in St. Louis, and this place definitely stands out. If you're in the area and craving a good cup of joe, give it a try!

Well, I guess it's not really $10 worth of ice cream. Certainly, it's not $10 worth of ice cream by 1990s standards. Once, I could go get an entire tub of Schnucks store-brand mint chocolate chip with weirdly strong artificial flavoring (arguably the GOAT ice cream) with the change found between the seat cushions in the station wagon I used to drive. You'd die trying to eat $10 worth of that. Eventually, you might die eating Clementine's. It'll run you, but you get a lot of calories for your dollar. It might even be a good value, depending on how you look at it. They pack it into those little tubs, too. No Diddy. They fill the tub and then they pile it high on top. It's the ol' Five Guys strategy of charging you money out the ass and then giving you more food than you require, as if they're doing you a favor. Uh, thanks? All of the flavors I had were really good, but they were incredibly rich, to the point where after a while they get to be a bit much. They had a mouthfeel almost more along the lines of butter than the cheap ice cream I should be buying (I've been known to eat soft serve from QT), and I'm assuming that's because they have a nutritional profile that's not altogether different. As one of the girls from my running group pointed out, after a while the flavors all kinda run together. Part of it's that they actually melt into each other, and part of it's I'm sure just palette fatigue. I went with three scoops. The ideal order here might be two: enough that you don't feel ripped off, or that you came a long way for nothing, but not so much that you somehow develop delayed onset lactose intolerance in your 40s. Of the three flavors that I had, I liked the Salted Caramel Cookies + Cream, Heritage Mint Chip and Gooey Butter Cake, in that order. But you really can't go wrong with any of those. The Gooey Butter Cake is their signature, but I'm a mint chip brother, as previously discussed. The Salted Caramel Cookies + Cream might be their top flavor. It was my favorite of the ones that I tried, and a girl from our group whose opinion I trust said it's the best.

Honestly, if you judged it by the outside, you might drive right past it. There is one parking spot in front, and then a run down parking lot behind and to the side. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was back in my childhood. The lime green decor, the dark bakery display cases filled with buns, and the small plates of food inside reminded me of the Cantonese bakeries I grew up going to. They also had ready to go meals wrapped up to take home. We bought a bunch of things to try. We had the beef cheung fun, siu mai, BBQ pork baos, sesame balls, egg custard tarts, and one of my favorites, the giant round sponge cake. Everything was fresh and really tasty. The roast pork looked delicious too, with nice crispy skin. The biggest surprise for me was seeing lo po beng (Old Wife Cake). We can hardly ever find it on the East Coast, so whenever we do, we always buy some for my mom. Seeing it here made me so happy. I live in the Metro D.C. area, where we have some really good Cantonese bakeries, so I wasn't expecting much from this tiny place. But honestly, Wei Hong Bakery could definitely give many of the bakeries back home a run for their money. Don't let the outside fool you. If you're looking for authentic Cantonese bakery items in St. Louis, this little bakery is absolutely worth a visit. It brought back so many childhood memories, and I'd definitely stop again the next time I'm in town.

The flavors are plentiful, the creativity is unmatched, and the quality of the ingredients is truly unrivaled. I honestly don't think there's a better cheesecake shop that I've encountered anywhere in my travels. The staff is generally very helpful and welcoming, with Lindsy in particular being a consistent standout at the front register over the years. I've been a loyal customer for a long time and have easily spent thousands of dollars on Hank's cheesecakes for both personal celebrations and professional events. The product itself has always been worth every penny. That said, I was disappointed to learn of the new policy charging $2 simply to slice a cheesecake. When purchasing a $25-$400+ cheesecake, an additional fee for a task that takes roughly 20 seconds feels unnecessary and, frankly, a bit off-putting. While I understand that rising costs are impacting businesses everywhere, this type of nickel-and-diming can feel discouraging--especially to long-standing, repeat customers who have consistently supported the business. Hank's Cheesecake remains exceptional, and the product is second to none. I hope management reconsiders this policy, as it slightly detracts from what has otherwise been an outstanding customer experience for many loyal patrons.

One flavor of ice cream available? Not a good starting sign!…read more Now I didn't get as many outdoor pictures this weekend as I had intended... but that's what happens when I heatwave happens in the middle of nowhere right? (But at least I remembered the food photo this time! So I"m not totally on dementia notice yet :) ) But I was having one of those goof-off days, (sorta) spent more than I should have at the World Market (I can't help it! The Sasume soft drinks -ALWAYS- Get me! (the Greatest Japanese invention ever :) ) So I'm REALLY needing Ice-cream. but i mean real ice cream. Then I remembered this place I promised myself I would stop in.. Jilly's. Driven past it a few times, saw it had once gotten a USA today recommendation, and the big sign had "cupcakes, ice cream and coffee" written right there. Go in and there's not really a vibe to the place. There is an ice cream counter and a cup-cake counter, and a couple of soda fridges. The problem is.. I'm going in wanting ice cream, make my way over ot check and there's ONLY ONE tub in the entire case with anything in it. And it's BUTTER PECAN??? I swear, maybe i just need to lower my expectations or something? But then how do I be the best "Yelpee" i can be? Anyway enough about the introspective for now. So I'm here, let's see what else we can have problems with today, shall we? The "coke" fridge has a limited supply of drinks.. I guess the stockers hadn't run yet today? (so -1 star for no ice cream/drinks). Well, it's a heatwave, so coffee's out. and that just leaves Cupcakes.... and wow.. these things are HUGE! And that's just the cupcake, that's not counting the icing on top! Basically, two entirely different layers.. one for the cake and one for the frosting.. (talk about a sugar coma!) Anyway, time to take a pack of 4 to go... (the sit down locale wasn't really much to my recollection, it just seemed "there" as if this wasn't a good day as I don't' recall a lot of the amenities as shown in most Yelpers photos., or I was just too hot to notice. ). so it's grab and go... And I realize, just looking at them; this is not one of those deserts you can eat and drive, so maybe a full sealed rack is a good thing right?) I make it home and wouldn't you know it; I forgot that cupcakes were actually "Stuffed".. Surprise!! 3 deserts in one! Cake, Filling, and Icing! Anyway, I don't even make it all the way through the first cupcake as a whole before I realize... Yep, Sugar Coma all the way! Basically, you've been warned you can order more than 1 cupcake to yourself, but count on leftovers if you do!! Anyway, I finally snapped out of my sugar coma and got around to writing things before i go for another sugar coma (dont' forget, I ordered 4 cupcakes!!). So yes these things are huge and they are priced a little more than usual cupcakes, but absolutely worth every penny So IRONICALLY, if i had gone in for Cupcakes alone... this would be a 5* review. As I was originally going for ice cream (And am so OVER butter pecan), 4 *'s it is at least for me. but we've given you the steps to get your own 5* time at Jilly's!
