When her parents (who tried to stand in for her in court, long story) said that she wasn't going to abide by the court's decision, he convinced them otherwise and she was gone from the premises later that day. I do have to point out that when the bill came, Kirk had overcharged us. When I pointed out the error, he quickly rectified it, and I believe it was an honest mistake, but it was still slightly annoying to have to fix. I think it was due to a recent change in their billing software. Even with this mistake, he'd only charged us for 15 minutes of billable hours (instead of zero, since we'd paid the flat contested fee up front), which is honestly quite generous considering how much nonsense he had to put up with from the defendant. I'd take a half star off for this if yelp allowed it. Overall, I'd definitely hire him for any real estate lawsuits I have in the future (hopefully none!). Seriously competent lawyer who can stay professional through anything.
