It was my first time here, and I chose this location because I saw another Yelp reviewer stating that it didn't have that harsh chemical smell you get in most nail salons. Well, the reviewer was spot on! No harsh smells at all. I booked an appointment through Yelp messaging and was responded to swiftly. I booked a same day appointment with no problem. Upon arrival, I was greeted and made to feel comfortable. Everything was clean and well organized. The massage chair was very relaxing (the complimentary glass of wine helped, too). The foot/leg/arm massage felt so good. I felt very pampered. Also, I wasn't planning on it at first, but when I saw their waxing station, I booked a last minute leg waxing. The prices are all very reasonable. I love the organic options they offer, too. I received a 20% discount as a first time client. I paid under $100 (before tip) for a mani (natural nails), pedi (regular polish), and a leg wax (lower half). Very happy with the price! Cici and Cindy were very kind, sweet, and made everything very comfortable. I live 10 miles away and have many other salons to choose from that are much closer. I was in the process of looking for a new place to get my nails done. I always do natural polish with a basic manicure and pedicure. After messaging a few places on Yelp, Bluerose came in at the least expensive with $50 for a basic manicure and pedicure. The best pedicure I've had in Vegas. I'm prone to very calloused feet. My feet have never been smoother and my nails look fantastic.

Good: Staff was friendly and able to accommodate me right away without an appointment, as there was only one other customer present. Not so good: Both my mani and pedi seemed rushed. My cuticles were not pushed back thoroughly and therefore my gel mani is already lifting after just a week and a half. I was also not given preference regarding the shape of my nails and the finished result had bubbles on some of the nails. read more

If you've been a woman living in a first world country for any amount of time, you've likely been to many, many nail salons that are indistinguishable from one another. Massage chairs, "pick your color," "gel or regular?" "callus remover?" and, as Anjelah Johnson would say, "only $5 more." No matter how good a pedicure is, it's just not different enough to invoke loyalty. If you're in a hurry or need to squeeze in a pedicure before an event, you're going to call around until you find somewhere that can take you. That's exactly how I felt -- until today. I stumbled upon Bluerose when I was out running errands and had 45 minutes between appointments. I didn't call ahead, I just popped in and prayed, with no expectations of quality or price. They were able to take me right away and as I sat with my feet soaking, I noticed this place was a little different. Instead of pop music and reality TV, they had on soft piano music and a muted nature documentary. Alright Bluerose, I see you...let's keep this going. Van, the owner, sat down to do my nails and we joked about my poor attempt at an at-home pedicure. What stood out immediately is that he explained each step he was taking. That may sound odd, but think about the last pedicure you had - generally they just tap your leg to signify when to take it in or out of the water. When he started on my calluses, he walked me through their whole methodology and how using harsh chemicals just develops MORE calluses. He showed me the products (never selling me on an upgrade, just showing me what he was using) and explained why water-based products are so different. He also shared that all their nail polishes are non-toxic and said, "that's why you don't smell anything." It was at that moment that I realized I didn't have a headache from the overwhelming smell of acetone and chemical-laden polishes that I almost always get in a nail salon! I told him about my partner who is dealing with cracked heels and he showed me what products to buy to help with his feet, AND explained how to use them most effectively. If you live anywhere in Vegas, Bluerose is worth the drive. read more

Changed ownership. It is no longer non toxic which I only booked my appointment there because I'm pregnant and wanted non toxic. The lack of transparency is unfortunate. They told me after my pedicure and after starting my manicure that they have no way to take card payments. This alone was a major inconvenience because my boyfriend was going to pay for my nails with his credit card and now I'm had to set up Zelle to pay them. The nail tech was lovely and that's why there are 2 stars but the lack of transparency and expectation that I have no qualms with these business practices are a bit much. Won't be back. read more
