I have now been to Desert Beauty Lab a handful of times, and am very happy with the services on each occasion. I've gotten both the DBL Signature pedicure and the Wine Me Down pedicure, which is my favorite. Since moving to Las Vegas (7 years ago!) I've been looking for a place that provides quality pedicures at a reflective price. In the past I've had some mediocre pedicures at Casino salons that cost a great deal. I've also experienced the cheap but seriously painful pedicures at the numerous Asian "Chop Shops". One actually left me nursing ingrown toenails for months. Therefore I was very cautious about trying Desert Beauty Lab. The receptionist on the phone immediately alleviated my concerns, informing me that their nail technicians are true professionals, who care about the look, quality, AND health of my nails. I booked my first pedicure and have had wonderful experiences with each person. Due to being an equestrian and an RN, I don't get manicures unless it's a special occasion. However, when the next opportunity for one presents itself, I will absolutely be booking it at Desert Beauty Lab. As a quick post script, I appreciate how this salon values my time. All of my appointments have begun promptly, except for one. The receptionist told me that my nail technician was running a little over and would be with me shortly. The nail technician apologized for the delay (the person before me was a new client) and thanked me for my patience. That is exactly how delays should be treated!! Things happen, but just keep the client waiting informed, apologize for the delay and thank them for their patience. read more

I have to say I'm very disappointed about this place customer service. I drove 30min hoping to have a great experience with my family; however; it definitely was not. I had a party of 4 (it was my MIL birthday), but was only allowed to book 3 pedis at the same time (I booked 2 days in advance). On the day of, I got there 1hr before my party with hopes to get MY (only 1 person) pedi done before the rest of my party. I was told there was no availability (nobody else was getting a pedi). My sister in law arrived 10-15min prior to our appointment and she offered to get a mani and even a facial for our appointment time, in hopes to have everyone serviced somehow. We were told they had no availability for no service. She ended up leaving to get a pedi somewhere else. Since I had waited, I had looked at all the different pedis they had available. I was excited for getting one of their special ones. At the time of our appointment, they told us (3 people) to sit for our pedis. I was given a book to pick a color and asked if I wanted gel or regular. That's pretty much it. At no time was I asked if I wanted their basic or one of their specialty pedis- same thing was for the other 2 people with me. We weren't even asked if we wanted any add-ons besides getting gel or regular nail polish. No need to say we would NOT be returning to this place. Yes the place is cute as far as decoration, but customer service was horrible. FYI- I was asked to book the 4th pedi after my first appointment which didn't work for anyone due to childcare and 3 people waiting - then on the day when asking for other available services, we were told it was 2-3hrs after our appointment. Also- while we did our 1hr pedi (which is normal time), we saw 2 other people come in for pedi. Soooo my 4th person couldn't get an appointment not even 30min after? Just a plain no. read more

Interesting concept of a salon. This place includes a bunch of services like manicures, pedicures, even head spa treatments. This review is based on the head spa treatment only. I've probably been to all the head spas in town because they're my favorite. I decided to give this a try, and for the price, it was a bit disappointing. No scalp analysis, and you're in a tiny room that's separated with a blackout curtain from the rest of the salon. You can still hear the noise from the salon. I'm a short person, and my feet could touch the curtain. The treatment itself was just okay. There are other head spas that are more reasonably priced. Even though the head spa experience was disappointing, I'd like to try their pedicure experience with zero gravity chairs. read more

This is my go to spot for structured gel nails and pedis. Khanh is the most talented nail tech I have had the pleasure of meeting. She always takes her time and goes above and beyond to make sure my nails are perfect every time. They last up to 3 weeks! Their pedis are hands down the most unique in the city, with reclining chairs and extra pamper touches that you can't get anywhere (I recommend the DBL signature pedi) Reception staff is always welcoming and very friendly. They are definitely on the pricey side, but well worth the money. read more

I've been coming here for a few months and decided on a membership my second visit! Which means I save 10% on every service. Emy Rose has been my technician each time, she pays attention to details and spends extra care and time to get my nails, cuticles, and skin looking it's best! I love that from the moment you walk in, it feels (and smells) more like a luxurious spa vs a chemical smelling nail salon. I mostly use all natural cleaning products at home and have eliminated fragrances, so I am extra sensitive to the smell of chemicals. Desert Beauty Labs does not have the acrylic smell most of us are familiar with, that's probably my favorite part. Not to mention the staff is very friendly as well. It is a bit of a drive for me, but totally worth it. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to take your experience to the next level. read more

This was a different experience. I would return for another pedicure. My manicurist is not a fan of pedicures, so I don't mind sharing the love elsewhere. I did however expect to experience a spa vibe but it was loud like any other nail salon. I originally had the headphones to zone out, but didn't want to pay for that for how loud the music was. This place is entirely overpriced for what it is. I paid $75 for the mindful meditation pedicure which was so dumb and not clearly described on their website. It was alluring to me because I wanted to maximize my relaxation, however, it's all a gimmick. They first ring some pitch fork device with a crystal around you and say it's aligning your chakras, it's not. Then they give you headphones and put on meditative music on YouTube. Um I have my AirPods in my purse mam, I can do this myself, why am I paying extra for this? They also give you a cheap eye mask, but this just smashed my lash extensions and I opted not to wear them. Although the chairs are aesthetically pleasing, they don't massage or recline. When you sit all the way back in them your head tilts and you have the ceiling lights glaring at you. The pedicure itself was fine, I guess the best part was the tech's massage, but it doesn't make up for the lack of massage chairs. They have a normal selection of colors and my pedicure came out nice, but not $75 plus tip nice. Also, I was like an hour early to my appointment and checked in hoping they could squeeze me in earlier, but they didn't, and they didn't let me know my wait time or else I would've grabbed a snack to eat somewhere whilst waiting. I've been looking for a higher-end nail spa off strip and I think I've found it! The biggest thing I typically look for in nail spas is attention to detail in the service. We both got DBL pedicures and my tech, Madi, had absolutely excellent quality of service. You can tell that she truly cares about her work and was just so professional through and through. Madi is 5++ stars. The thing that's stopping me from giving 5 stars to DBL itself is that the spa inside could use some TLC. For example, the nail polish option booklet was really torn up and honestly kind of gross, some of the furniture was dusty, and the chairs had a worn look to them with chipped paint, etc. If they could they get those things taken care of, I think that DBL could probably be the best nail spa in the city. I'm more than happy to pay the higher prices for the high quality of Madi's and her colleagues' work. read more

Overpriced. $75 for the 45 minute mindful meditation pedicure. It's advertised as zero gravity but its only during the 5 minute massage that they use it. So that was disappointing as I specifically booked for that reason. I'm not really sure what was worth double the price of a normal pedicure... I almost got the $150 one but I'm happy I didn't because spending more to be disappointed is always blah. Generic type eye mask, blanket and a pillow placed on lap. I expected just so much more. Ugh I wish I had pictures of how my nails turned out they were my favorite ever!!! The staff is super friendly the facilities were clean and the non toxic options made this place my favorite in Vegas! They were out of the color I wanted at first but that led to me falling in love with a beautiful red color I never would've tried otherwise. I did regular polish and it was done so well it looked like gel I could t have been happier. I did the signature mani and the Russian pedi. I do wish the Russian pedicure would've been a little more in depth but I'm still going back next time I'm in town. What a beautiful salon that does facials, hair and nails! I got my nails done here by Julia and wow, what an incredible job she does. If you do want a nail design, make sure you book accordingly and/or call the front desk to add it to your service as it does take more time. My GelX took almost two hours but the results are incredible. Julia took her time, was incredibly gentle and meticulous and understood my request to not have my cuticles touched. My gel X was $80 + $10 for French tips and it's the nicest my nails have looked. As it was my first time getting GelX, Julia did a great job explaining what it was, how it was better for my nails and the proper tip shape. She was so detailed from beginning to end and I'm so grateful to have found her as I never know what I'm going to get when I try out a new nail salon. They also carry eminence skin care products so you know facials are top notch. What a cute, clean, and extremely spacious location with ample parking. Devastated with a broken nail & desperate for an appointment, I was recommended this place by a coworker. I called to see if there was anything available on a Wednesday afternoon and luckily there was! My appointment was for gel removal, gel mani, with request for chrome. The place is gorgeous. Light, spacious, multiple levels of chairs & tables. Manis in the middle of the space, the sides included pedis, back left looked like a salon, & rooms to the back were for facials. They have SO MANY services! I was kindly greeted when I entered, checked in, & escorted to the nail station. I wanted the glazed donut look that has been circulating the internet, but didn't know the exact color. My nail technician knew exactly what to do after I showed her a picture! Water & mimosa were offered to me - I happily said yes to a mimosa! During my session, I was recommended a moldable layer that would make my nails more durable since I do love a long almond look. My nails break easily so I'm definitely going to look into it for my next appointment! It takes time with certain nail techs who are trained to do it, so I'll have to request for that next time. They are pretty booked and detail your services to the t when you make an appointment to ensure that you & your nail tech have the appropriate amount of time allotted for the job. This was my first time having to specify gel removal for an appointment and I get it! It does get pricey when you start adding on decoration AND chrome. Any durable gel, hard gel, etc will cost you more as well. I looked around & saw these special pedis. Laid back, eyes covered, head phones on, & a Theragun used?! I asked my nail tech about it & she told me about all their amazing services - this one being "wine me down". DEFINITELY COMING BACK FOR THAT! Since my first time, I've come into the salon twice more with great service! I highly recommend making an appointment & being as detailed as possible as to what you want so you have the appropriate allotted time. We both had great service on out visit. The space is inviting and the ambiance is different from other nail salons. Although it is bit more on the pricey side, its worth it if you are looking for time to relax and have a different experience from other nail salons. We were offered drinks which was a nice touch. The massage gun and the scented oils/lotions are so relaxing depending on what package you get. The chair was different so they kind of invert you backwards and you put your feet up so they can massage your legs and feet in that position so you're almost lying down. Overall we were happy with our quality time and to be able to treat ourselves was nice. This salon ALMOST had me as a returning customer. Unfortunately, I won't be returning due to their cancellation policy. I came across this salon on Tik Tok and have been intrigued by a Russian manicure/pedicure. Upon entering, the salon is so aesthetic and I was welcomed at the front desk. Yuliana did my Russian pedicure and she did amazing. Since it was my first one, she always informed me of what was next and always ensured I liked the color, shape, etc. I was also offered a coffee which tasted delicious! Next, I intended to get a Russian manicure however my natural nails were too short for the shape I was requesting (understandable). I tried going over options with my nail tech, Yumi, but when I changed my mind, I was told I would be charged 50% of the service so I decided to go with a basic manicure. Yumi was sweet and accommodating. And of course, it wasn't her fault but it's the salon's policy. This salon is great.. it's aesthetic, the staff are nice, and the services are reasonable. However, their cancellation policy could use some work. A 50% charge is understandable if I cancelled or didn't show up. Also, I called when I was running 5 mins behind and I took care of each girl individually; I still would tip even if I had changed my mind on the manicure but instead chose a different option to prevent getting charged more than the service I received. The wife wanted to try this place so she booked us a mani/pedi. The place looks great, they have nice curtains between the stations and it's relaxing. They don't have massage chairs, it that is not a bad thing. It feels very upscale but not in a way that makes you feel comfortable. The manicure and pedicure were amazing. Julia is a professional who really takes pride in her work. After everything was completed, another lady came by and asked how everything was. I found this place on tik tok, and was really excited to visit when we were in the area. I dragged m husband along knowing that he'd enjoy a little r&r while on a mini vaca. Immediately the ambiance was nice. They check you in and ask what beverage you would like. Beverages range from tea, coffee, to even mimosas. We ordered tea and juice. Came in a nice cup and not too long after we were seated in our section. What is nice about this is that they have curtains to block off your own section. So if your alone and want your own time, they can accommodate to that. We got their dbl package because we wanted a good leg and foot massage. They definitely did that. This package also uses a massage gun which was different. Their zero gravity chairs were nice and different. It made us fall asleep a quick minute. We definitely will come cisit again when we're in the area. read more
