We're so glad that we found Trail Tails. Wali and his team understand that our dog is our family,…read moreand they treat him like family, too. Our boy is a bit mischievous and likes to wander away from the group too much, so Wali offered to board him for a couple of weekends to work on training, and we definitely see improvement. Of course, we could've just hired a dog walker to walk our boy a couple of times a day while we're at work, but it's 100% worth the money for us to know that he's out enjoying nature and socializing with other dogs during the day, instead of just being bored on the couch between walks. And we love seeing the photos they post on Instagram! Would highly recommend Trail Tails to anyone with a pooch.

Trail Tails is AMAZING. Our dog went to their "camp" regularly since he was a puppy (started ~5mo…read moreold). We recently moved and the worst part of moving was that we are longer be in the Trail Tails service area (it honestly weighed heavily in our decision, if that gives you an idea of how much we loved Trail Tails). Wali and his team are fantastic with dogs - they not only try to enforce good behavior (like recall and "playing nicely" with other dogs), but I can tell that they also show a lot of affection to these dogs and make sure "the pack" has an awesome time day in and day out, regardless of the weather. I also had my dog stay with Wali and his team over a few weekends and he seemed to have a great time. I also loved that they posted pics on Instagram regularly - it was so fun to see the dogs in action! (Including a pic of my dog at Trail Tails!) The only downside: there are some days when my dog got a bit dirty. But a quick sweep/vacuum was totally worth it - my dog had a blast and was always tired/happy at the end of the day when I got home. HIGHLY recommend Trail Tails!

We left our dog at this daycare while away on a trip and came back to him in terrible shape. His…read morepaw was so irritated that he didn't want to walk on it, his eyes were full of gunk and he could barely keep them open, and he had a runny nose. While I don't think my dog was mistreated, Carol Ann failed to communicate that anything was wrong which is a huge problem. When my husband asked her if she noticed anything while there she proceeded to say "well he did have a slight cough at one point, but I called and told you". This was a complete lie, she never called him once while we were away. Since then we've had to take him to the vet twice, my dog has not been the same at all, lacks energy, is throwing up and not once has she even been sympathetic or apologetic. Instead she was defensive, rude, talked over him when he was trying to explain everything that was going on, and sounded like she was whining more than anything. We later realized that while she asked if my dog was vaccinated, she never asked for the proof and so I think she doesn't check for proper documentation- allowing anyone to leave their dog at her daycare. Lesson learned, never again.

I took my large dog here for a GI problem and some coughing that was recently onset. The vet didn't…read morebother to perform a basic exam (ie, quickly listening to his heart/lungs and checking teeth etc. which I was charged for). The tech held him down in an aggressive way for a terrified senior dog. The facility was crowded, treatment wasn't explained by the vet or his staff, I felt anxious and confused with the plan. I cried when I left because of the lack of clarity, my anxiety for my sick dog and the way I felt he was treated while being administered shots. one month later, we are in the vet emergency clinic who diagnosed my pup with chronic heart failure. If the vet had bothered to listen to his heart for 30 seconds we could have avoided a month of untreated heart disease. I don't expect vets to be able to diagnose without proper exams and lab work and I think it's unreasonable to expect them to - BUT HE DIDNT TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN TO MY DOGS HEART DURING A SICK DOG EXAM FOR A COUGHING SENIOR DOG (a symptom of CHF which occurs in up to 75% of senior dogs) Credit where it is due: dogs GI upset did clear up after a couple of days. So the treatment plan (that was not explained to me) did work for the crisis at hand. I was able to get an appointment within 48 hours which didn't seem possible in NYC. And they laid out the pricing before they performed any work so I wasn't stuck with an unexpected bill. I think this place would be fine for basic vaccinations and the vet seemed to really like cats. If your dog is sick or needs to manage a chronic illness, please take them elsewhere.

5/23 We brought our 9 yr old cat, Toast, for an exam because we were worried about him not eating…read more He had a tooth pulled by them almost exactly 1 year prior. We had some reservations after that extraction, but all seemed to go fine in the end. Dr. Ramos spent very little time actually touching Toast during the physical exam/consultation. He did not do anywhere near a thorough evaluation. Dr. Ramos went solely based off of our guesses. We are not vets. We trusted his judgement. We were also asked to move to a different exam room. I should have taken photos. The room had dog/cat hair in every corner. The walls were splattered with unknown fluids that looked like they dried 15 years ago. The white door was almost black around the knob from grime. It did not look or smell like it had been cleaned before us entering. There was a needle cap on the floor which is an immediate sign of unsafe sharp handling practices. Toast is booked for an extraction 5/26. When dropping him off and signing paperwork we asked the vet tech about x rays and he assured us repeatedly that they are fully unnecessary. We believed him. By 5/28 Toast is unable to eat properly, is extremely weak and unable to jump or climb onto anything. We call to notify them and get their opinion. The receptionist is fully unconcerned with his symptoms. After we call back again to get their emergency phone number, we are told we can call another place if that's what we want. The complete lack of care is unbelievable. We found a different emergency vet on 5/28 where after less than 2 minutes of palpitating his abdomen, that Doctor finds a mass and orders 3 abdominal x rays along with an anti-nausea medication. On 5/29 we are informed that Toast has a 3 inch mass in his abdomen and another in his chest. 5/31 we have to put Toast to sleep. On 6/2 I call Dr. Ramos to update him. After explaining to him that the emergency vet found the mass very quickly from the physical exam, he immediately becomes defensive and starts to put the blame on us. Saying it was our fault he missed everything because we "declined the dental x rays" which we had asked about during the visit and were told would be completely unnecessary. I'd also love for him to explain how dental x rays would show cancer in his intestines. It is not scientifically valid for a veterinarian to blame an undetected abdominal cancer on a lack of dental x rays. Apparently when you go there you need to record the entire visit because they will lie through their teeth. This does not cover their records and clerical issues. In 2025 Toast's name is spelled Toust. This year the last name is incorrect. Along with owner's email. According to his charts his weight was not properly done (10 lbs versus 7 lbs at the emergency clinic). Billing: last year we had 1 tooth extracted. We took the tooth home with us. We were charged for 2 teeth. Comparing last year's extraction invoice and this year's, I'm not upset at all about the price increase. It's fully understandable. I want to know why the breakdown is so different. EKG last year but not this year. General anesthesia this year but not last. Even when they told us it was used last year. There are too many discrepancies and pet care issues for this to continue. I genuinely cannot explain how horrendous it is to blame the owner when Dr. Ramos, the licensed vet, can't just apologize for his mistakes.
