Bluestone is honestly too good for this mall. It feels like a little hidden gem! The vibe is elegant and classy, but still comfortable enough to relax and enjoy your meal. You can sit inside or dine outdoors, and both options have a clean, casual, and inviting atmosphere. The menu is fairly typical café fare, but the quality really stands out. I ordered the club sandwich, and it was excellent, made with an actual turkey cutlet instead of the usual deli slices. The potato wedges were crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned (and you know I need it hot!). Everything was fresh, well-presented, and clearly made with care. Overall, Bluestone is the kind of place you can count on for great food, good vibes, and a touch of class in an unexpected spot. Definitely worth stopping by!

Used to visit Bluestone Lane in the city in midtown Manhattan sooooo many times. Glad to see one in NJ whenever we visit the Bergen Town Center before we do the grocery at Whole Foods. Among the healthy menus, we always. Always get the warm chicken grains salad. A must. Colorful. A whole variety of warm veggies !!! Another staple menu we have been getting is the Truffle Mushroom Grilled Cheese sandwich. The thing is that 1 out of 3, the sandwich is quite "empty" with not much mushrooms and seems like just the bread. When it is properly done, it is loaded with mushroom and the cheese oozing out !!!

I loved it here! My pumpkin spice latte was the best I've ever had in the countless years I've been drinking them. It had the perfect amount of bitterness to sweetness ratio. It was so yummy, I ordered two. It was also so pretty. I also ordered the soft chili scramble with avocado. It had the perfect amount of spice and was very yummy without feeling heavy or unhealthy. I loved the ambiance, decor and lighting in the restaurant. My only complaint was it was very cold in there but maybe that's a personal preference. The service was good! My drinks came quickly and the food came at a normal rate. The staff checked in on the table a fair amount but granted they were also dealing with counter service requests. All-in-all, loved it! I'll definitely be back.

Cute breakfast/brunch place located at the Bergen Town Center right outside where Whole Foods is. Small place but definitely worth checking out. Came here with my husband and 3 month old for brunch. If you don't need to bring a stroller, I suggest not bringing it cuz it'll be difficult to park it inside and dine in. Luckily our server seated us where she didn't seat anyone next to us so we can park the stroller in the middle. Our server was great. She made small talk with us and was super friendly in engaging conversation, but not where she was invading our personal time. She took our orders and went on her way. I ordered the BL burrito and my husband got the spiced chicken wrap. Both of us split our meals to try and I have to say, the burrito wrap was EXTREMELY filling. Normally, I would order a chicken wrap but thought I'd try something that was their "Aussie favorite". The breakfast wrap had bacon, potatoes, egg, and avocado in it. And the eggs were SO fluffy it just melted in your mouth! It comes with a side of potatoe wedges, which I probably would've done without, but I was starving and ate most of it anyway. The spiced chicken had kale, avocado, & spiced chicken that provided a very small spicy kick which really complimented this sauce that was in the wrap. I had to try their iced pumpkin spice latte and my husband got this blueberry peanut butter smoothie and ordered a chocolate brownie (his eyes were definitely hungrier than his stomach). Overall, I thought the food was great and their coffee was delicious. Nice and strong without the over powering pumpkin syrup like at Starbucks. If you're in the area check them out! You can also opt to get pastries on the go!

My girlfriend and I ate a late lunch at Bluestone Lane around 2PM. The place looks very trendy and the decor really lives up to the "Blue" in the name. For drinks I got a Laird Superfood Mocha and my girlfriend got a matcha latte. Both drinks were just...ok. They weren't terrible but I was underwhelmed, especially for the price. Now I really enjoyed the food we ordered. I got the Truffle Mushroom Grilled Cheese and my girlfriend ordered the Prosciutto Burrata sandwich. Both were fantastic. They tasted fresh and didn't leave me feeling gross afterwards (even though I ended up eating most of the food). My girlfriend and I both love truffle and we both love burrata so naturally we split our sandwiches in half and shared. We also ordered a cup of tomato soup to go with the grilled cheese. I particularly enjoyed the spicy jam in the prosciutto sandwich. The truffle aioli in the grilled cheese added an earthy, umami flavor to the sandwich that I really appreciated. Now the thing is both sandwiches were around $17. They weren't that big and they were served with a side of potato chips. The cup of tomato soup was an additional $5. But I really did enjoy the food. Despite the prices being on the higher side, I'd come back and give them another shot. I'd definitely try different drinks, though. Perhaps I'll stick to my go-to order of a black coffee.

Okayy Erewhon dupe smoothie!! This cafe is an Australian-inspired spot that focuses on their premium coffee and healthy bites. Bluestone is such a cute spot for a brunch date, located right next to Whole Foods in Bergen Town Center. (Parking can be tricky here since there's a lot of shops in this one area) This is my second time ordering their Bondi Blue Smoothie and it never disappoints. It's so fruity and refreshing - the perfect treat to walk around and shop or to dine in for breakfast. I truly recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for the most aesthetic smoothie!

Bluestone Lane is an Australian-inspired café serving artisanal coffee and food. This location is in the Bergen Town Center near Whole Foods. It's a healthy alternative to greasy mall foods. The ambiance is more of an "elevated" brunch experience. There's beautiful wall art of Australian landmarks, blue and turquoise hues, and lots of plants and greenery. Very chic and trendy. You can order to go or pick up, but you can also dine in with full service. Their drink menu offers the essential espresso and non-espresso beverages in addition to smoothies and juices. They have an all day breakfast and lunch menu with plenty of healthy options like pancakes, sandwiches, burritos, salads, bowls, soups, etc. Definitely on the higher end when it comes to café prices. Most food items are $17+. I've tried the following: *Iced Mocha $6 - Ugh I'm sooo picky when it comes to mocha lattes and this one just didn't hit home for me. It just tasted like chocolate milk. Weak espresso. *Iced Vanilla Latte $6 - The espresso wasn't strong enough for me... this was more on the milky side. *Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant $11.50 - Maybe one of the best croissant breakfast sandwiches I've had! And thank goodness it was... because ~$12 for a croissant is a bit wild. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, bacon was crisp and chewy, and the chipotle mayo was the perfect sauce to top it off. The croissant was buttery, rich, flaky, airy, and all the good things. I have to say that the service is excellent! Very friendly employees with smiles on their faces. If you dine in, they clear your plates, refill your water, and check in attentively. I'm disappointed in the coffee here, especially since they advertise themselves as a company that has premium beans. I haven't tried enough of their food to make a final verdict, but my overall experience was pleasant enough to try again in the future. I'd skip the espresso and just get a bite to eat.

Well lit inside and plenty of choices to pick from. They also have an order to go coffee counter for those who don't want to sit and eat. Came during a weekday over the summer and had no issue grabbing a table. Food and service was good. Well attended to and our server frequently came to check on us with the little one. Food was good, nothing that blew me out of the park, but left well satisfied. Asked for well done potatoes that came out perfectly.

When I come to the Bergen town mall, I used to have lunch here. Yesterday I decided to have my lunch in Bluestone. This place has really great atmosphere They have high quality ingredients in food, good prices, really amazing Customer Service...so personalized; the place is so clean always, and it has low noise ambience sound. I really like this place !!! my server yesterday ,and also one of the kids in the kitchen, were so helpful and kind with me Yesterday I did a Strawberry iced Matcha latte, which was good. It was my first time to try these kind of drink , And I decided for the Truffled Mushroom grilled cheese sandwich, which was big enough to share with 2 people; the bread was so good!!! a great high of toast, but also good to be eaten ;and whole flavor was soft and I think it's a healthy sandwich... healthy sandwich (it came with potato chips on the side) Just for you to know ,they have reusable Silverware and non-plastic lunchboxes. I love this place. I will come again and again keep doing it like this ,guys ...blessings to all the team

Smoked salmon. Looked good but very bland.
    Alicia N.

Service was nonexistent. The food was bland and overpriced. My latte was good. Coffee- was fine. $17 for a spiced chicken wrap (which my husband said was bland) with lays potato chips is insane. $19 for bland avocado toast with smoked salmon - again- no. Try adding salt, pepper, or lemon to the avocado - everything seasoning would definitely take it up a notch. Paid $50 for bland food and to be ignored once it dropped. I do not recommend. Space was sort of cute but we were seated near the kitchen and restrooms when the dining area was not full so we could not really enjoy the space. We had a bullseye view of the staff going in and out of the kitchen yet none thought to check on us. Again- bad service.

Perfect brunch or lunch spot if you want to avoid the weekend crowds. There was no wait when we went last Saturday. There is a kids menu available and a lot of variety to choose for lunch/breakfast. Portions are just right. Not too much like what you get at other places.

NJ is cool too! I've been waiting forever for this Bluestone Lane location to open and visit here often. Convenient stop while shopping! LOVE the iced lavender matcha latte. It's delicious and always on point. I want to come for brunch soon. The decor is really cute and there are plenty of tables for outdoor seating as well (takeout only). The service can be a bit slow if they are busy but everyone is super friendly and you won't regret stopping by.

5 Stars - Beautifully Crafted Brunch at Bluestone Lane The Avocado Smash at Bluestone Lane is not just food -- it's art on a plate. The creamy avocado is generously layered over hearty multigrain toast, then topped with vibrant cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta, and delicate microgreens. But what really elevates the presentation is the drizzle of chili oil around the edge -- a spicy, colorful accent that adds a subtle kick and makes the whole dish look like a modern painting. It tastes as good as it looks: fresh, balanced, and satisfying without feeling heavy. Paired with a perfectly made flat white and the café's bright, airy atmosphere, it was one of the most refreshing brunch experiences I've had in a while. Highly recommend for both flavor and aesthetics.

There's space to wait for your order too- so if it's cold or raining, there's room for you. They're open 7a-7p which is great. It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.

Maybe it was the whipped cream, but it felt diluted overall. On the other hand, my husband's New Orleans iced coffee was good, and my friends enjoyed their other coffee drinks as well. Next time, I'll skip the matcha and just stick with coffee.

Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are placed based on availability, which keeps things fair and efficient even during busy times. The tables for two are intimate and cozy, perfect for conversation, though they can become a bit tight when ordering several dishes at once. That said, the staff was attentive and checked in often enough to clear plates and make room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The dessert menu is separate, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at an unhurried pace before deciding on something sweet. Their beverage offerings are thoughtfully presented. Herbal tea options include green tea, chamomile, and English tea (Stash), and the tea is served in a container that provides two full servings. The cappuccino is well made and served with a sugar crystal stick, adding a distinct old-world charm that enhances the café's European feel. I regret not asking for an additional order of Turkish coffee so that's a regret . What we ordered: * Greek Salad - $18.50 * Cappuccino - $6.80 * Herbal Tea - $6.00 * Uštipci - $17.25 * Musaka - $22.95 * Šnicla (Cutlet Sandwich) - $20.75 * 2 Diet Cokes - $8.00 The musaka is a baked dish and does take about 25 minutes to prepare, as it's made fresh with baked eggs, seasoned beef, and sliced potatoes layered on top. The wait is well worth it, resulting in a hearty, comforting dish that tastes authentically homemade. The Šnicla (cutlet sandwich) arrived beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic, elevated touch that matched the restaurant's aesthetic. Mom felt it lacked in seasoning but she Didnt leave any crumbs . The Uštipci were a standout--served with feta and honey, generously portioned, and so plentiful that we happily took some home. We were too full for dessert this time, but it's absolutely on the list for a return visit. Due to winter weather, we couldn't explore the back of the restaurant, but even from the main dining area, the decor is undeniably charming and full of character. Overall, Cafe Bubamara offers authentic flavors, generous portions, attentive service, and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that makes it a place worth revisiting.
