My room had a beautiful view of the Colorado River, complete with a full patio and seating--such a nice bonus. The room itself was big, spacious, and very comfortable. Coffee and tea were provided, and housekeeping cleaned the room daily, which was fantastic. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. A couple of things to note: there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms--only available in the lobby--and the pool was closed for remodeling during my stay. There is a small but cozy exercise room, and parking was plentiful. Dining options were great. BlueWater Grill is perfect for casual snacks and breakfast (opens at 7am), while River Willow has a more upscale feel and is excellent for dinner with friends or family. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, plenty of parking, and even free RV parking that can accommodate large rigs. Cheers!

Posten was one of ten internment camps where approximately 110 - 120,000 Japanese/Americans were housed. My cousin spearhead this pilgrimage where my mom her dad & their siblings & parents were detained during WWII. Hampton Inn is one of the hotels in Parker AZ where many of the Japanese Americans came for the Posten pilgrimage & to pay homage to those that had been here. This event proved to be a great way for our family to reunite. My mom her 3 siblings & grandparents were all detained in Posten. In all we had 36 members of the family that showed up for the pigrimage which turned out to be 16 direct descendants third generation or sensei some wife's & some kids Nice hotel w/a decent breakfast, clean rooms & good staff

But it was a scary wait not knowing if anyone would show up! 3) Next morning I couldn't get the internet to work so I decided to go to the front office. No one was there. Waited 10 minutes then left. 4) After an outing in town, my key wouldn't work. Went to the front office and again had to wait for about 30 minutes (this time with an older couple having the same key issues) for someone to show up. The front office needs to be constantly staffed. It is a huge error to have customers sitting around just waiting for someone. I've never had this issue anywhere else and I have to say, it was not pleasant having to wait for someone. Staff is VERY friendly once they get there. Would go back again, hoping that they've fixed the staffing issues.

The unpleasant part is waking up - stuck to the plastic cover or just waking up sweating because the plastic cover . Our room was on the bottom floor- the floor creaked when people walked around in the room above us. Which unfortunately, they did a lot throughout the night.
