Not only was the breakfast so nicely made and prepared, but there were contestant drinks, coffee, wine, snacks and desserts 24/7 for the taking. Amazing oatmeal white chocolate chip crasin cookies I died for. One thing is I wished the time for breakfast was longer. It is served 8:30-9:30am. Hoped it would be longer than an hour. I recommend they extend it to 10am or make it a full 2 hours 8-10am. A slight extension I think would give guests more time and it definitely is the highlight of the stay. The lobby is sensory overload when you first enter it. It's colorful with silver dinosaur bones and pterodactyls overhead. I kid you not! If that wasn't impressive enough, there are humongous crystal geodes on display. Some of the were even larger than me. There's an entrance to an African themed bar which served African inspired dishes, which I'd never had before. All this may seem like it shouldn't go together, but it does. The rooms were stylishly elegant. The bathroom is spacious and well stocked with bathrobes, slippers and quality toiletries. The beds and pillows were plush and cozy. Since we were there for a conference, the ample work area was appreciated. There is a chaise lounge right next to the window where I watched steamboats and cargo ships sail by on the Savannah River. The location was predictably right next to the river. I spent a whole day just walking on the River Walk with a variety of restaurants, dessert shops, candy stores, bars, cafes and souvenir shops. While it was geared towards tourists, which I was, I didn't have to go far from my hotel to get a taste of Savannah. There are historical buildings complete with the moss covered tress and cobblestone streets (which sounds quaint until you walk on it without twisting an ankle). Coming from hotel industry, I can appreciate a well run 5 Diamond hotel. While the stay was extra ordinary, there were a few things I wasn't fond of. The hotel has 3 parts to it. We were staying in the 3 Muses, which is a separate building and bit of a walk from the lobby. The walk isn't an easy one, which was an issue for my elderly father. Since we visited in the summer and the weather was hot and humid, walking out of the airconditioned lobby to trek over to the 3 Muses was less than ideal with my glasses fogging up at each entry and exit. But these were minor hiccups in an otherwise fantastic stay.

My fiancé has back problems and is picky on how a comfortable a bed sleeps and it was hard to drag him out of the bed in the Orleans room lol. We also loved the ability to meet different kinds of new people from all over who boarded during our stay. The vintage aesthetic of the hotel, combined with the service that makes you feel like family, the happy hour you should never skip, and the slow pace relaxation provides the ultimate opportunity for a vacation.

This was a great way to start we chose the Grey Goose even though it was $17 a shot after checking in at the Pro Shop we were amazed we were the only two on the course the next tee time was more than an hour behind us what more could you ask for. There is nothing better than playing golf along side the ocean on a isolated island course a little after sunrise sipping on a well prepared Bloody Mary. The course was in excellent shape and with no pace to keep up with we could not only enjoy the round but all the wildlife and the salty air. It was almost to perfect. We did learn quick not to under estimate the course it can be very challenging with the ocean breeze definitely a factor to contend with. The greens are a little deceiving but are well maintained and true. The ocean spray keeps a few of these greens moist I can't believe the salt doesn't affect the greens they were perfect I'm guessing they use some type of hybrid grass. They held really well and were a little slower than I would of liked but after a few holes we got the feel of them and it was fine. The entire experience was amazing the staff was great and the day was filled with memories. I would highly recommend spending some time here we would definitely come back and take advantage of all the amenities the island offers.

We had a pleasant thirty minute boat ride from Savannah. On arrival we were treated like old friends. Charles picked us up at the dock and drove us to the pro shop where Rocket checked us in and gave us a quick history of BP. We teed of about 10:00 with nobody in front or behind us., had time for a leisurely lunch at the turn before heading out on the back nine and were finished in time to catch the 4:00 back to Savannah. First the 2020 and beginning of 2021 was hard on the hospitality industry. We have nothing but…read morerespect and honor anyone in the Industry. I met my wife while working at the airport at CPK 20 years ago so we know hard work and respectful customers may not understand the challenges and difficulties you may have in your personal life as well as in the work place and some days are good some days are bad. When we arrived 3 employees were having a discussion about the toner cartridge and was assisted with checkin by Mary. We had previously filled out the form to indicate our birthdays and anniversaries but no acknowledgment was given upon check in. As we were celebrating our anniversary on this multi B&B trip. Once arriving in the room we had a great time throughout the wonderful city of Savannah. Unfortunately the horror started once we noticed from our beds the drip drip on the bed from the ceiling from the air conditioning condenser. Rather than ruin our vacations we arranged our bed where the foot was where I've had worse to lay and put a towel over the lantern where the dripping and condensation was. Within noticed after further investigation that this dripping was a continued issue along with the mold that was accumulating along all of the windows and areas where light was present.

Concierge should offer these up front, like newspaper. - bar is tiny and not manned, you must ask someone. - no Valet service that we could see, and not offered one. - fitness room very small. - the links is the only restaurant on premises. I had to ask where it was. Breakfast not included. Once again should have been explained. Room - needs a refresh. - hot and cold faucets were reversed. - Bath door handle coming off. - toilet replenishes water when it wants too. - 90% of tv channels always are 'no service check cable'. The few that worked, were on/off due to satellite interference. Am I being picky, no these things add up. Did I mention these things to anyone, no. Why should my stay at a 5 star resort $$$$$, be interrupted by people going in and out of my room fixing things. Do I need the aggravation. This should all have been addressed as part of hotel duties. To top it off my bill was $12.xx more than what was sent to me on their confirmation letter, room fees?? What am I missing here?
