We were driving through Bluffton on our way from Hilton Head to Savannah, stopped for a quick bite, and were so taken by the charm of this darling town, we decided to stay for the night. The owner of one of the AMAZING restaurants (shout out to Crudo!) encouraged us to see if the Bluffton Inn had any availability. They did. What a great Inn! Garret at the hotel was so warm and welcoming. He also made a phenomenal Old Fashioned ;) The rooms were spacious,. clean, and lovely. The customer service really top notch. Felt like we discovered a hidden gem from "yesteryear" when customer service was valued and important. We live on the West Coast, but when we make our way back to SC, will definitely return to the Old Town Bluffton Inn.

This place just recently opened. I have one word for it... FABULOUS!! The general manager Chelsea and some of her associates were there to greet us and show us around a little bit. We met the owner, Larry. What a great sense of humor. From the minute you walk into the wonderfully adorned lobby, you will feel welcome and see what great care and detail was put into this place. The area is full of interesting galleries, shops, restaurants and bars. Check out my review on Old Town Bluffton and see for yourself. Thanks to Chelsea, Larry and the fabulous man who first greeted us. We can't wait to stay here soon!!!

Impeccably appointed, incredibly clean! Vince and Danielle made it feel like we were being welcomed home. I can't forget to mention "Camo", the cutest little maltipoo that we would've taken home with us if they would've let us! We will definitely be back!

Our arrival coincided with a robust local festival and gaining admittance to the parking lot was going to be a challenge. Hotel staff were very helpful in directing us. Chelsea who my husband described as "cute as a button" took us to our room making sure to replenish the snack offering in our room. When you are hungry but is tooooo early for dinner, having a snack is welcome. The attention to detail throughout the building far SURPASSES large name hotels (Hilton and Marriott). They could take lessons. From the lobby and period style furnishings, the lounge area are warm and inviting. Seating areas are plentiful and encourage conversation with the guests. After perusing the street fair and our arrival back at the hotel, a lovely chat with "Larry" along with a glass of wine. A very pleasant and welcome respite before dinner. Larry it turns out is the owner and builder responsible for the design of the Old Town Bluffton Inn. It shows. The building is only 6 months old yet looks period. His attention to detail is superb. From the period furnishings in the lobby which are warm, comfortable and inviting, the hotel staff, our own private balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine, the very plush room furnishings (top quality), the marble soap dish, the on/off knob for the shower is separate (wall) from the shower head, the cabinetry in the bathroom, the drapes to keep the heat of the day out, to the breakfast area in the lobby (self serve) and every conceivable item to break your fast (boiled eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice, water, breads and condiments). Larry has thought of everything... and it shows. He was also open to suggestions as to how he might improve upon guest.comfort. What a delightful change of pace from large chain hotels and where the guest is just another turn and burn. P.S. the Inn is pet friendly

When she finally walked into the room, I stated that her tardiness would make me miss a work meeting, and she replied - "Do you need me to increase your Lexapro"? Lexapro is a prescription to help those with anxiety. She is NOT the prescribing doctor, and it is very dangerous to offer increased doses to a patient you have absolutely zero history on the reasons or overall health of the patient. She was trying to put me in my place for questioning her, making me wait an hour past my appointment. Part of my exam included a full-blood workup. The results came back to me from the lab, and there were several red flags I needed to discuss. I emailed her, called her, and could not get her to reply. When I called the office to understand why Dr. Blusewicz would not speak to me, the receptionist said that if I wanted to review my results, I needed to make an appointment for an in-person consultation. I received an invoice for my annual check-up. Dr. Blusewicz received my invoice for the time I lost from work and the time I spent trying to get her on the phone to discuss my test results. I've spoken to several women in my community about Dr. Blusewicz, and most of us have experienced her rude, unprofessional, and egregious behavior. None of us are still patients. I still receive a past-due invoice for that visit a year later. And she will continue to receive mine. It is hard to believe this doctor is still able to practice medicine. The waiting area is welcoming and bright, with gorgeous white marble floors and large windows that let in tons of natural light. The space feels open and airy, and they've got a great selection of skincare products displayed alongside comfortable seating, so you can relax while you wait. The check-in staff are always super friendly and offer refreshments, which is a nice touch. As for treatments, I've had a few great experiences here. I've done a laser treatment on my face to help with discoloration spots, a Dermaplane (which is amazing for getting rid of that pesky peach fuzz that sneaks up as I get older), and their hydro facials are perfect for adding extra moisture during the summer months when my skin needs it most. You can easily book appointments online, or if you prefer, you can call them directly. I've also found that emails get a quick follow-up call within 24 hours, so they're always on top of communication. Overall, Glow Spa is a reliable, relaxing, and professional spot that makes skincare a breeze.

Glow med spa gave me a chemical burn after lying to me about the safety of a procedure on tretionin…read moreand then further attempted to lie after. I went in for a brow lift for a big event coming up in a few days, and while there, the esthetician convinced me to get a brow tint and a lamination. I asked her if it was okay to do since I am on tretinoin, and she said yes, the only thing I couldn't do was wax, so she plucked my brows instead. During the procedure, I asked if it was meant to be burning and painful, and was told yes. We even talked about me being on tret while the procedure was happening! My brows were bright red afterward and painful, and in the morning, I had scabbing in certain spots, red skin, and they were still very painful even without touching them. I very clearly had a chemical burn. After a quick Google search, I learned you should not do a brow lamination while on tret, and I called the spa, who told me I was wrong and there was nothing done at the spa that could have given me a burn. I did not believe them, so I called my dermatologist afterward, who said lamination should not be done on tret or any other retinoids. I am attaching my text conversation below with Glow Med Spa (I cropped out the beginning, which includes personal information) during which they tried to gaslight me into believing they had done nothing wrong and that I was experiencing a "personal allergy." They changed their tune when they realized I was not, in fact, an idiot, and had spoken to a qualified professional elsewhere to further confirm. I really am not the type of person to leave bad reviews. I have never done so in my life and probably never will again. But the fact that they tried to trick me after they gave me a chemical burn is just not acceptable. The burn that they gave me is thankfully not terrible but they have not only ruined a big event for me, the chemical burn could have very easily been worse potentially scarring me, and they were happy to lie about the entire thing.

I just had to let you know. The atmosphere at your venue was simple, but beautiful. Everything was set up and ready when we arrived. The food was super yummy and I went for two helpings! Not to mention two helpings of dessert as well! I was most impressed with the staff who waited on us. They were so very attentive, especially to the bride-to-be. I wish I had asked for their names as they were on-point during our whole event. Every drink was filled and refilled, the food station was carefully watched to keep it neat, and they even helped with carrying the gifts and picking up the wrapping paper. They made the bride-to-be feel like a queen! I walked out with a smile on my face to see such good service (oh, and I took a salted-caramel brownie for the ride home)! Well done Venue 1223! Any event I have, you'll be first on my list to host! Many thanks for the most enjoyable day!

The outdoor area was nicely lit for the holidays. They set up only 1 bar with 2 bartenders to handle over 60 people. They did a pretty good job keeping up. The credit card charges show Downtown Deli as the business owner and not Venue 1223 (probably owned by Downtown Deli). The food was pretty good. They had people serving Hors D'oeuvres which were a charcuterie in a cup, spring rolls, chicken, etc. The main course was either chicken, beef or specialty vegetarian dish which my wife ordered. It was basically a power bowl and looked pretty good with long strips of portabella mushrooms over salad with lots of quinoa and vegetables. My chicken was a bit dry and tough. The inside is a large open area for tables, a DJ and a dance floor. The staff was friendly and did a great job keeping food and people moving.
