My wife and I were scheduling our annual vacation in HHI and decided to stay in Bluffton a few days before heading over to the Island. I saw the Old Town Bluffton Inn and we gave it a try. WHAT A GREAT PLACE! When you walk in, you think you are in a building that was built in the early 1900s, yet it is only 6 years old. Old charm with modern amenities! The staff was so friendly and the happy hour each day let you mingle with others. Adults only so it was quiet and comfortable. The morning breakfast was very good and rotated daily. We parked our car on Thursday and didn't get in it until Saturday when we went over to HHI. Right in the middle of everything and everything is walking distance. Shopping, dining, etc! It's been many years since I've stayed at something that wasn't a large hotel and my experience at the Bluffton Inn has definitely made me rethink where I book for now on. My wife and I were in the area for something work related last week and we spent a night at this beautiful spot on the center of town. From the outside this building looks older than anything in my current city (in a good way) and the inside is absolutely stunning from the hallways and lounge area to the rooms themselves. We arrived in town a little early so we decided to call the front desk to see if we would be able to check in early and they immediately said yes. When we got to the hotel and parked, the staff were quite possibly the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met in my life. They were so kind and made the entire process super quick and easy, and the best part? A DOG! There's a little white dog who loves belly rubs and high fives that I very much enjoyed hanging out with anytime I was in the lobby. The room itself was a solid size and had two twin beds, some wonderful furniture, and a TV which is everything I could possibly want out of a simple room. Overall, The Bluffton Inn was a five star experience from the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out. With amazing staff, clean rooms, and even complimentary snacks, breakfast, and beverages in the lobby staying at this place in the future is an absolute no brainer. read more

We were driving through Bluffton on our way from Hilton Head to Savannah, stopped for a quick bite, and were so taken by the charm of this darling town, we decided to stay for the night. The owner of one of the AMAZING restaurants (shout out to Crudo!) encouraged us to see if the Bluffton Inn had any availability. They did. What a great Inn! Garret at the hotel was so warm and welcoming. He also made a phenomenal Old Fashioned ;) The rooms were spacious,. clean, and lovely. The customer service really top notch. Felt like we discovered a hidden gem from "yesteryear" when customer service was valued and important. We live on the West Coast, but when we make our way back to SC, will definitely return to the Old Town Bluffton Inn. read more

This place just recently opened. I have one word for it... FABULOUS!! The general manager Chelsea and some of her associates were there to greet us and show us around a little bit. We met the owner, Larry. What a great sense of humor. From the minute you walk into the wonderfully adorned lobby, you will feel welcome and see what great care and detail was put into this place. Maria and I just spent the last six days visiting Old Town Bluffton and HHI ( July 4th visit jn 2020)The Inn was just great. A first class boutique hotel in Old Town. Walking distance from all the restaurants, shoppes and galleries. An easy drive to both Hilton Head and historic Savannah. And only a little more than a half hour drive to Savannah/ HH airport . RENTERS BEWARE. THEY MAY CHANGE YOUR RATE AFTER YOU BOOK AND PAY A DEPOSIT. They did for us. 70% increase! And they refuse to refund the deposit. Here are the facts from our experience: We had a confirmed booking for our wedding party, a total of 10 rooms, confirmed with our $500 deposit charged 12/10/2019. 2/17/2020, 69 days later, we received an email that our rate was going up by 70%. After a few emails, we were informed the only way to keep our reservation would be to still pay 40% more than we agreed to pay for the 10 rooms in December. We have already told all of our family where they would be staying, and we told them the original price. We cannot afford the change in price after our confirmed booking and since our deposit is paid, it's just wrong to do this to us. To make matters worse, we were told the only way to get our deposit back is to dispute it to our credit card company. All of this is just wrong, dishonest, and very crummy. Now we not only have to find other accommodations, our guests will have to rent cars - 10 cars - because we were going to be able to walk to our events. This is not the way business should be ever and not normal for Bluffton. Please visit Bluffton, just do not stay here. read more

Our arrival coincided with a robust local festival and gaining admittance to the parking lot was going to be a challenge. Hotel staff were very helpful in directing us. Chelsea who my husband described as "cute as a button" took us to our room making sure to replenish the snack offering in our room. When you are hungry but is tooooo early for dinner, having a snack is welcome. The attention to detail throughout the building far SURPASSES large name hotels (Hilton and Marriott). They could take lessons. From the lobby and period style furnishings, the lounge area are warm and inviting. Seating areas are plentiful and encourage conversation with the guests. After perusing the street fair and our arrival back at the hotel, a lovely chat with "Larry" along with a glass of wine. A very pleasant and welcome respite before dinner. Larry it turns out is the owner and builder responsible for the design of the Old Town Bluffton Inn. It shows. The building is only 6 months old yet looks period. His attention to detail is superb. From the period furnishings in the lobby which are warm, comfortable and inviting, the hotel staff, our own private balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine, the very plush room furnishings (top quality), the marble soap dish, the on/off knob for the shower is separate (wall) from the shower head, the cabinetry in the bathroom, the drapes to keep the heat of the day out, to the breakfast area in the lobby (self serve) and every conceivable item to break your fast (boiled eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice, water, breads and condiments). Larry has thought of everything... and it shows. He was also open to suggestions as to how he might improve upon guest.comfort. I love this inn! The rooms are beautifully decorated, it's incredibly clean and the staff is attentive and very accommodating. It's also located right in the heart of Old Town Bluffton with walkable access to shops, restaurants, art galleries and historical sites. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra night! We highly recommend the Bluffton Inn! It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay again! The rooms are new and impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and well appointed with custom made mattresses with great bed linens. The shower had such good water pressure that it's worth mentioning. There is a generous coffee and tea bar, cold drinks and plenty of above average snacks and fruit available at all times for the guests at no charge. They even have wine available for the guests during your stay. Bonnie made delicious breakfasts each morning so we were ready for the day. The innkeeper and the owners are fantastic and made us feel very welcome and are there if you need them but not if you don't. One evening, I ended up missing our planned dinner event and stayed back to get some work done and Chris made sure I had dinner! The inn is within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shopping, too. 5 stars! read more

Charm, charm, charm! Wow what a cute place. We were lucky enough to have a small wedding in Old Town Bluffton and to stay here. Growing up on HHI I am familiar with the area and love down town Bluffton. We would always pass this cute little place but never stayed because we live here, until the opportunity on our wedding night arose. What a great decision! Danielle and Vincent, the proprietors, are as kind and accommodating as one could hope. We felt like family here and the rooms were immaculate with cozy pillows and blankets and charming decoration. We loved it here and highly recommending to anyone enjoying a night in beautiful old town Bluffton! Location is amazing. You will not be sorry about your decision! read more

My husband and I stayed at the Old Town Bluffton Inn on Sat May 4th and were incredibly pleasantly surprised by how lovely the inn is and how wonderful and personable the staff was. Everyone bent over backwards to make sure our stay was perfect. They had also previously made us a dinner reservation at the Pearl where we had a great dinner! The location is perfection for walking around this adorable town. The hotel looks like its always been there. The attention they have paid to perfecting every detail from the decorative finishes, to the service including, a layout of lovely fresh continental breakfast options, is evident everywhere. We finally checked out Bluffton. It didn't take long to decide to spend a night so we could enjoy all the great live music in town. We met amazing people at Sipping Cow. The food and service were great and the owner was wonderful! She helped us get a room in town at Old Town Bluffton Inn. (We almost made a huge mistake by going to a place that had bed bugs). We had a great time and experience at old Town Bluffton Inn. Very clean! Beautiful decor, the bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. All of the people who work at the Inn are super friendly and helpful. Tons of info and suggestions as to places to eat and night life. We also had a great conversation with the owner. He was really friendly. They offer complimentary wine and beer, just help yourself. The breakfast and all day snack area was great! Many healthy choices as well as an impressive selection of treats". They have great coffee and an impressive tea selection. One of us drinks coffee. The other only drinks tea. It was really nice not to be forgotten. And if you don't have time to eat at the Inn, no problem. Everything you need to take it with you is supplied They truly have thought of everything.
