Absolutely exquisite! Abigail, the Innkeeper, greeted us with her beautiful smile & genuinely warm personality. Justine Inn is drenched in southern charm with modern amenities. Our room and bathroom was large, comfortable, well appointed, and retained a cozy, romantic feel. There was plenty of hot water & the water pressure was strong. The breakfasts are amazing! Abigail prepared & served fresh, delicious & beautiful breakfasts - we enjoyed a spinach & cheese frittata with seasoned potatoes and fresh mixed fruit; & french toast bake with perfectly prepared bacon & fresh fruit; and fresh-baked muffins with sausage patties & fresh mixed fruit. Each breakfast was hot & served with delicious coffee and/or tea, water or juice. Abigail made baked cookies & scones & her attention to detail was evident in everything she does. Each afternoon, she hosted a happy hour with wine, cheese, crackers & the like, allowing us to meet and mingle with other guests. The outside large screened-in porch was the perfect spot to rest & listen to the rain storm. While the Inn is itself warm and inviting, it was Abigail's care, thoughtfulness, attentiveness & sweet heart & soul that made our honeymoon in Savannah, Georgia enjoyable, so special and memorable. Our entire experience was the best. I will never stay at any other big corporate hotel chain ever again, this was the perfect place for my whole family. Abigail was the most accommodating host. She was professional and personal and always made us feel welcome. The sleep was comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding every morning. My fiancé has back problems and is picky on how a comfortable a bed sleeps and it was hard to drag him out of the bed in the Orleans room lol. We also loved the ability to meet different kinds of new people from all over who boarded during our stay. I'm sorry to say that the breakfast and happy hour were sadly lacking. The breakfast was two strips of bacon, cinnamon roll and fruit cup. All cold. There was no wine for happy hour. And a small saucer of cube cheese with a few crackers to eat. No southern hospitality on site. The inn is located on a beautiful tree lined historical street. Justine Inn is beautiful, conveniently located and full of modern conveniences. My husband and I stayed here for a night passing through Savannah and would've loved to stay longer. If the weather is right, this location is great to walk around Savannah and see the sights across the city. The house is stunningly decorated with attention to decore which compliment the historical architecture but is comfortable and modern. The staff are incredibly nice and offer hospitality, with a chef in the AM offering a delicious breakfast and an afternoon cocktail reception with snacks. They are super accommodating to every request and attentive to your needs without being overbearing. We stayed in the Versailles room with the most amazing bathroom contains 3 tubs. I have no idea who would use all 3, but they are there and the bathroom is amazing. Be careful getting in and out of the shower tub, it turns slick very quickly upon getting wet! We didn't use the jacuzzi tub except as a comfortable sitting area, but it is huge and looked like it would be super comfortable for a long soak. The bedroom is also beautiful and comfortable. The linens are incredibly soft too, so my husband and I both remarked upon how we had no trouble getting a very restful sleep. Also, we loved the antique furniture which complimented the room and added to the ambiance overall. Finally, parking was pretty easy out back. The team helped direct us to the right spot and then helped us bring our bags up the stairs. There are multiple sets of stairs, and with most of these type of older houses, so be prepared to climb a few. Worth it to stay somewhere so beautiful and with so much history IMO, but those with mobility issues should call ahead to discuss. We stayed at the Justine inn based on reviews of a lovely afternoon wine, cheese fruit and cookies and a hearty breakfast in the morning of French toast, sausage, bacon, eggs, baked goods, etc.. the gal working there was very nice but informed us wine because the city says you need a liquor license. Never heard that a bed-and-breakfast needs a liquor license to serve wine in their own private home.. there was no forthcoming cheese nibbles in the evening nor cookies. I had to ask for cheese and crackers, which she then presented with a small plate for me which I ate in my room. The breakfast was a puny, mini egg muffin cup, and a premade cinnamon roll and a small cup of fruit, juice or coffee or tea that was it. So lacking in good old Southern hospitality. Our room was clean. It did smell a little musty and the bad creek all night long which I couldn't get a good night sleep. I would call ahead to see what the amenities are if you decide to stay here and hold them to it. read more

Future Guests Beware We stayed in the Commodore's Quarters, basement suite of the building next-door to the main B&B house. It was a nice little suite and could have been a good experience if it was not for what we found in our suite: 1-Mold smell 2-slippery floor from all the moss on path to the front & back door. Not very kept. 3- Worst pillows ever made out of super cheap & thin synthetic foam. 4- Bedsheets were made of some kind of synthetic type material, entire bedding consisted of a base sheet, top sheet & a very thin cotton cover. Most uncomfortable situation I have had to try to sleep in a very long time. 5- Back gate door to the parking lot which did not close or open properly. It was partially falling down and dragging on the ground 6- was equipped with a coffee pot but there was no coffee, tea, salt or pepper like you find in most B&B and hotel rooms 7-mediocre breakfast The moment I felt the pillows & bedsheets I so much regretted my choice . Definitely one of the worst B&B experience I have ever had and certainly not worth the $278.35 I paid to stay there. To think that I could have stayed at Hyatt, Marriott, Embassy Suites or any at ANY of the major chain for cheaper and I would have had great pillows, a comfortable bed, clean room, coffee in my room. I seldomly write negative reviews but I felt particularly offended & disappointed that for the price charged here, the owner was too cheap to purchase decent quality hotel pillows & bedding or put a couple small pod of coffee, creamer & sugar in the room. read more

This was my husband's and my splurge on our road trip honeymoon and it was so worth it. We're only 23 so it's the sort of place I'd love to go back to later in life. We were upgraded to the largest room for the occasion and they left us chocolate and chilled sparkling wine. It was a literal magical experience walking into our room. We stayed in the larger, more modern apartment, which comes with a parking spot in the alley, and it had the bathroom of my dreams, complete with robes, makeup towels, a big tub, and a rain shower. All the employees were sweet and helpful-- special shout out to Tony and Ja'leia. Breakfast was fresh and wonderful both days and the happy hour wine was great too. I know this is a smaller and newer B&B for Savannah, but give it a shot! You'll get your money's worth and then some :). read more

We recently moved to Georgia from CA. My in-laws came to visit for a couple of weeks. We decided to make a trip to Savannah and made the choice to stay at the Justine Inn. And we are glad we did! The ambiance was great. Rooms were very clean Tony was AMAZING! He was VERY attentive and made our stay feel comfy. Not to mention his breakfast was yummy. He made biscuits with gravy, cheese omelettes and a bowl of fresh fruit. Oh did I mention the pastries as well...He went all out! This was a quaint Inn and one we are glad we stayed in. We could walk everywhere. It requires walking to get to the waterfront and such but it is so nice and comfortable to walk that makes it completely acceptable. The inn keepers were nice and chatty. Details were lost as our meal times for the breakfast each day weren't recorded right and so it made for an awkward "good morning we are here for our brunch" only to be told we were supposed to be a at a different time so once we got passed that awkward moment it was fine. We got street parking a block and a half away and we literally left it parked the 2+ days we were there. Just watch the parking as some is pay to park. Others are change sides of the streets based on what day it is...so be aware. This isn't a reflection on Justine as it is Savannah but the bums sitting around in the parks can be uncomfortable. I get people are down on their luck but when you walk at night and a group of them are just hanging around taking up bench space, it is a bit uncomfortable. The history is amazing and the homes are really cool to just walk by and check out. If in Savannah, the Justine is a great place to hang your hat for your visit. read more

This is my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and because of my experience at Justine Inn, I will continue to stay in others. From the first day of my trip to the last day of my trip, we were treated warmly. This was my birthday trip and Kate placed a bottle of champagne and glasses In our room to celebrate. We were greeted by Kate and Reece who were friendly and inviting and gave us a map of Savannah and tips on where to eat. We stayed in the Versailles room which was spacious and nicely furnished . The only drawback is that work was being done right outside our room during our whole stay so the noise and smell of paint affected us when we were in the room/bathroom. In the bathroom there are two claw foot tubs and a hot tub- which does not apparently to be frequently used as we had to run and empty it after the first use. The fire place in the bedroom was a delight. The bedrooms and main doors are locked with a code. The innkeepers usually leave at 6:00pm. Happy hour is everyday at 4:30 and consists of crackers, cheese and fruit and wine. We enjoyed breakfast every morning outside in the fresh air and conversing with the other guests. Kate made breakfast on two days during our stay and Tony made breakfast our last day .breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Kate is very sweet and seemed to be a genuinely nice person. Tony was nice and attentive as well. The only experience we had with Reece was on the first day and she was very nice as well. The inn is conveniently located close to everywhere you would like to visit as a tourist and there are nearby stops for the Dot- free shuttle . read more

We stayed here a few weeks ago for a long weekend in Savannah and it was PERFECT! We stayed in the newly renovated Bon Vivant suite and it was a dream. The inn keeper, Tony, was very friendly and told us about many different places to check out during our stay. Kate and Reece were lovely! We just returned from our anniversary trip to Savannah. My husband booked the Justine Inn through a third party site. We now know that the Inn doesn't get all the money for this and will not book through an outside vendor again. On the flip side, we would not have even known about this wonderful Bed and Breakfast if it wasn't for the 3rd party site. We were in the Bellevue room. I did not take pictures, but if you look through Yelp, the pictures are not accurate anymore. If downtime with a tv is important to you, the Inn has moved the TV to a location where you can see it from the bed. We spent a little bit of time chilling in front of the tv, but that wouldn't have been a deal breaker for us. The queen sized bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. There is a writing desk and an armoire. I didn't open the armoire, but I assume there was room to hang clothes. It has a smallish full length mirror on it. The bathroom had a separate shower stall and also a shower and tub combo. The sink over the mirror is a bit high for me, but a second makeup mirror was in the cabinet next to the sink if I really needed it. This is an interior room. Think cruise ship interior. There are no windows. We knew what we were getting and enjoyed the very dark sleep. Happy hour with bubbly and wine was very nice. There were mini charcuterie cups with meats, cheeses, fruit and chocolates for each couple. Our host was fun and we all tried a Tom Hanks Diet Cokang (google it). It was sweeter than I would want again, but fun to try. Breakfast by the host/chef were super yummy. Blueberry pancakes, eggs, fruits and meat for day 1. Day 2 was a fancy eggs Benedict. Our kind server always checked for allergies or dislikes before bringing our hot food to us. There are a couple parking spots behind the Inn and street parking. Read the signs to find out where is ok to park. The hosts will also talk to you about parking if you are confused. We parked in front of the Inn the first night, but moved about half a block away the next morning. The car stayed there the rest of the trip. We had a minor issue shortly after checking in. The staff was attentive and did everything they needed to fix the issue. The chef/host spoke to us about it later as well. We appreciated the attention to the problem. We understand that this is a Bed and Breakfast in an older building and life is going to happen. Justine Inn is a short walk to Forsyth Park. This is the very large square with a gorgeous fountain. Saturday mornings there is a farmers market and arts market. We enjoyed strolling through there before heading to the river front area about a mile away. I highly recommend the Justine Inn. I can see us returning for another trip! read more

Stayed here for 1 night on our way to the Keys. Anna was our host and was very friendly. Our room was nice and the Inn is located close to lots of things to see and do in Savannah. We were on the first floor and you could hear people in the living room above, but nothing crazy. The had wine and snacks for happy hour and our breakfast was really good. The location was perfect to stroll along the tree lined sidewalks, walk through the squares and check out the local cafes and restaurants. I love when I can write positive reviews in a world where most people find the negative. This lovely renovated brownstone became our home away from home. We enjoy B&B's but sometimes not so fortunate, this is not the case at the Justine Inn!! An impromptu trip to steal away for the weekend to Savannah, we took the last room at this French themed B&B. We had a late arrival and upon entering there was a map on our bed and a note with recommendations for late night food (with times) that would be able to accommodate our late hour. Working fireplace in the room, delicious breakfast, but a casual host who genuinely enjoyed sharing places to see while here. We were within walking distance to the squares and far enough away to get a vibe for the beauty and historic homes, brownstones on foot. Very disappointing. Although the inn looks lovely on the outside with the gas lanterns, the southern hospitality stops there. Although we could possibly get beyond the fact that no one is there to welcome you after 5:00 on a Sunday, the stay was unacceptable. Water was tepid at best in the evening, and cold in the morning. The room was freezing all night. There are three tubs in the bedroom, with no door to separate a bathroom, including the toilet. Tried to talk to someone in the morning, but she was completely unresponsive and rude. Plenty of lovely options in Savannah; won't be back here. read more
