Once I was able to order, the staff were very friendly and the cold brew with the moon milk I got really hit the spot. This café is far more updated and sleek than the last location I visited. It even had a conference table in an area partially separated from the rest of the dining space, complete with open TVs on the walls for presentations. The place itself was clean, the staff was great, and our order came out quickly. We ordered a couple of Matcha Lattes, one hot with almond milk and one iced. The barista we ordered with made sure to inform us that the Matcha Lattes were pretty sweet without any extra sweetener or flavors and she wasn't lying! They were incredibly sweet to the point that the vanilla almost overpowered the matcha itself, and though they were the same drink at different temperatures, we agreed the iced one was better. It wasn't as sweet as the iced and we appreciated being able to taste the matcha more clearly in it. We guessed that maybe less vanilla was used. Taste aside, both were crafted pretty well, no unmixed matcha or sweetener sunk to the bottom, and they probably would have been excellent if ordered with half the sweetener. We give the café and baristas a 5, the hot Matcha Latte a 4, and iced Matcha Latte a 3 for an overall 4 stars. I'd definitely give this location another try!

How did I immediately know their quality was still great? Their line never goes down. I ordered the cortado, the Kentucky Smoke, and a sausage and cheese kolache. The cortado was pretty much perfect - one of the best in the city. The Kentucky Smoke was also a delight. It's not too sweet, so if you want to change up your latte but not go tooth-achingly sweet, this flavor is a must. The kolache was great. It had croissant-like dough, was salty in the best ways, and overall very satisfying. Staff continues to be unfailingly nice. I was tempted to buy a bag of coffee, but since I haven't been making much coffee at home, I decided another time. Estate Coffee is one of those shops you are okay making the drive to, even if they're on the other side of the city. A San Antonio must-visit!

I order the blue moon and it has never disappointed. My kids get the match and they say it's the best matcha they get from any where else.
