The barista is extremely incompetent. I literally just left and the vibe there is weird and definitely not welcoming. I asked for any iced coffee drink she could make not picky about it just needed cold caffeine. She couldn't warp her tiny brain around it. The place is empty literally.... Definitely staying out of this crap hole.

When in town for a day I had to log in a few hours, remotely, for work so when I stumbled upon Shotgun House I was so pleasantly surprised and happy I landed here. First of all the ambiance here is laid back, chill, and plenty of open concept areas to sit down, hang for a bit, and maybe get some reading or work done. There are plenty of outlets for you to plug in and get settled for a couple of hours of focus time. I came in the morning and set up in a small corner before getting on a few client meetings. I grabbed an iced coffee and a couple of the tacos they had advertised at the register. I was happy I did because whoever makes these tacos is just *chefs kiss* so so good! The price point was legit too as it was $2 a taco! I got the cheesiest bean and cheese taco and a potato and peppers taco too. I believe all of their tacos were vegetarian friendly! Service was great and friendly. It was nice to have small talk especially when I came in here on my own (solo). Parking looked like only street parking off in front of the building. This made me a little nervous but I was able to see my car from the back patio area. When I am back in town and need a cool spot to come work at or just chill for a minute over some coffee I am definitely coming here. This is a hidden gem of a spot that should not be skipped.

Watery latte. This place used to be good a few years ago. My husband ordered an iced matcha and that sucked too

This place is really great. I grabbed a bag of beans and a sweater weather latte. Since I've been on a pumpkin latte roll, this has been one of my favorites. Was it 80 out, yes, but when pumpkin season is in you go full pumpkin regardless of the temperature. The space itself is great, so roomy and comforting. Also, the Colombia blend I got is very good. I will absolutely visit again, the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Parking: Street (on a one-way) Dirty Horchata Latte: 8/10 Matcha Latte with Oat Milk and Honey: 6.5/10 Blackberry Cinnamon Roll: 5/10 From the outside of the building, you wouldn't be able to tell that a beautiful coffee shop was inside. The inside has plenty of seating that is spread out and seems to be a nice place to chat with friends or work (not sure if there are outlets or free wifi, but wouldn't be surprised)! The artwork is really charming and compliments the inside. Baristas are very sweet!! The horchata latte was well balanced - the espresso flavor is strong and the hint of horchata at the end is very pleasant. They added extra cinnamon on top, which helps emphasize the horchata taste. The matcha latte does not have a bold taste and has a noticeable astringency to it. There was a bit too much honey added for my preference, and the color was a dull green. Not bad for a matcha latte given the area, but probably would not order again. The blackberry cinnamon roll was on the breadier side. When heated, it definitely softens up! It was also a bit too sweet for my taste, and I couldn't taste the blackberries that were inside of the roll and the ones infused with the cream cheese on top. Bonus: I absolutely love how they have free resources to take if needed! Overall, I would give this coffee shop a 4.25/5! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others. Side note - They also seem to have beer, but not sure what time they serve it!

First time at Shotgun House and we were impressed! Wonderful service and atmosphere. Loved the back outdoor sitting area. My little one Loved the Jenga blocks! The Iced Caramel Wildflower Latte with whole milk was delightful. Very subtle flavors and smooth coffee notes. The Iced Peach Black tea and Matcha Latte were amazing. The S'more cookie is definitely something I'll be back for. The cookie oozes with chocolate and marshmallow. One unique gem of a cookie was the Rose Cardamon Tea cookie, which absolutely rocks. Perfect balance of flavors and beautifully baked. Very much loved the whole vibe, and will definitely be back!

I have heard soo many people tell me to try this place and I may have just caught them on a bad day, but I was not impressed. The cold brew was overtly tangy. I worked at a coffee shop for 3 years and know when you steep it incorrectly so I asked her for more syrup and milk to avoid the sour flavor and she told me, "our cold brew is super strong not for people who don't really drink coffee" and I wanted to laugh but I can appreciate dry humor (hoping that's what it was) so it's not that serious. Also, we ordered the dirty horchata -- extremely light in flavor. I questioned if there even was espresso in it and the barista just looked at me crazy. The cinnamon roll was not heated up and was hard as hell and the banana bread crumbled a part every time I took a bite. Overall, I was just soooo sad with this visit because I love a local coffee shop but I have to be honest that this was not it :/

They opened up more room and doesn't feel as small enclosed as it use to. I got their Snoopy seasonal drink and it was nice. I have had their seasonal s'mores latte and was amazed how they nailed it.It is now gone but the seasonal drinks are already nice to have. I pick them over the horchata latte in which is what they seem to be known for. Nice service and never packed so you can get work done here. 3.5 but I'll put it at a 4 as it's not over hype by any means.

Few people studying. A few people enjoying the Sunday morning together. This place is a hidden gem inside an old warehouse. They serve beer as well if you're puro SA and want a balanced breakfast. Cinnamon roll is worth a mention!!!

the vibe here is so chill and good alt music. Coffee is really good + decent price like 4.5$ for regular iced latte like goals!!! I also had a cheese and bacon danish and it was fine, nothing special but the other treats looks very good! the service was friendly and fast. Parking is on the street but it's a long road so not too bad! Read my book enjoyed the vibes easy Saturday morning for me!

Today, some friends organized our own "coffee crawl" and this was our second stop. First of all, I'm excited they roast their own coffee...that's always a "plus" when you're a coffee connoisseur like me. Took a bag home. It's a cute little shop; it's located inside an old dilapidated warehouse (at least on the outside). It's got an industrial meets barn feel. Ya know, ropes holding floating shelves and exposed wooden beams...but in a warehouse. It's probably, ordinarily pretty quiet....but we had six guys in our group. In fact, one lady, I assume a regular, went out of her way to come tell us how quiet the place usually is....and it's not like we were being loud. I honestly think her comment was geared more toward the service, which was more than sluggish. Poor girl was working all alone, so there's that, but it was S L O W! This shop is a little too far for me to just go hang out regularly...and yeah, I'll say it...when it seems there is a bail bondsman on every other corner...you're in an area of town that feels a little shady. Overall...glad I went but I'm not sure if and when I'd ever be back.

It is a beautiful venue, nicely appointed with booths, tables, and a huge gorgeous bar. Their happy hour is one of the best in town. The food is so delicious (we especially love the red pepper soup!). The wine selection is huge! Finally, the service is top notch. Both Tiffany and Heather are great, and the owner Kim is so engaging! You feel welcome the second you come through the door and you can tell a lot of love went into the restaurant's creation. I will say the Sunday all day happy hour and trivia game is a bit too crowded and noisy for me. So I'll stick to the other evenings in the future. And I'm gonna tell all my friends about this great place!

Currently they only offer brunch the first Sunday of the month. They have an extensive wine menu and do have wine based cocktails and mimosas. On Sundays they have happy hour all day. I had she zucchini fries. The serving was big enough to share. It came with a side of marinara. For my meal, I had the avocado toast with poached eggs. The avocado has just the right amount of lime. It came with a hash brown patty. The hashbrown patty was just ok. For dessert, we shared the pancakes. They were sooooo good. Definitely full of butter, but not complaints from us. I had the pink label Rose. It was good and a great price as it was on their special menu of opened bottles. Parking is available on site, but shared with the other businesses
