Nice people, sweet place, good vibes. I will be back. The chai was a little watery for my taste, but it had good flavor.
Always wanting to support local! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by the local coffee shop. It smelled yummy waking in and also felt welcoming. Very cozy[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a journal anyone is able to sign. That was really cool. There was people from New Zealand, Portugal, and other countries that signed it![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I opted for a matcha. This was the most syrup flavors I'd ever seen offered at a coffee shop! I forgot to say I don't like my drinks sweet. The matcha was way too sweet for my liking. I will definitely go back and try a coffee drink.
My aunt had ordered coffee from here for a family party and I really loved it so much. I had to ask where she got the party traveling coffee from. I finally made my way to this location on a Saturday morning at 10 AM right before it became super busy. What makes this location special is their medium roasted Guatemalan Bean and their tailored coffee creations. Their coffee is perfect. Not bitter, weak, or too strong. I think this is a great place for people who know what they want, but the ladies here are so kind and helpful and personally assisted me to create an amazing coffee. I ordered a blackberry cheesecake with almond milk and extra shot of espresso and requested the marshmallow toasted topping because I love aesthetics. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience inside is so home like and cozy and outside is so peaceful and quiet with fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is no Wi-Fi, but it's great because it helped make my coffee cost-effective( I was pleasantly very shocked). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a great time chatting it up outside and enjoying pure freedom by living in the present moment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 experience so take a bestie or a good book and gooooo!

Ok, if you love coffee and enjoy a pleasant, homey place to relax over a cuppa, you have to come here. The espresso is excellent - I had my standard cappuccino which is my personal fave and use as my initial test of coffee quality at a new place. Theirs has that smooth balance between the coffee's natural bitterness and sweetness of the milk when its steamed just right. Plus, the owners are very sweet and fun, and make your visit bright with their kind nature. You feel so welcomed and want to just hang out at this very aptly named shop.
Sip & Sit with ME ... and that's exactly what I was able to do on my first visit Tue 19 Dec 23. I was able to sit and chat with the owner Marta for a tiny bit towards the end of her day. She's a story teller and she loves to hear your story too! Sip & Sit is brand new coffee shop across from San Jose Mission, on the corner of Mission Rd & Rosevelt. They are in the middle of a soft opening with limited menu for the past few weeks to get their groove on. They are offering Hot and Cold coffee and latte now, with Hot Chocolate to follow up soon on the menu. Pastries in the future too. Yum! Cozy relaxed set up to enjoy your coffee and conversation... just what Marta imagined. Last week I saw a post in a Facebook group, San Antonio Restaurants. There was a picture of my first home... 3244 Mission Rd... with a review for this coffee shop. It's a two story white stucco mission style home originally built as a duplex, it's hard to miss this historic treasure. My mom owned this house at least in late 50's before she married by dad in 1960. I lived here 1963-68. Mom sold the house after dad died and we left town. I remember the house with lots of roses bushes out front that bloomed for my April birthday with a large green yard. The covered patio that is still in the backyard was built by my dad 1966/67. Of course the house is so much smaller seeing it in adult eyes. Lol. How did all our furniture fit in there. Lol. Sun 17 Dec would have been my mom's 102 birthday. I would have visited on Sunday in her honor, but Tuesday seemed to be the best day for me to get across town to make my first visit. I'll definitely will be back!

I love their matcha lattes and always add a flavored foam top to mine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's small inside and gets busy on the weekend, definitely worth checking out![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Great little shop with ample parking. Had coffee with a splash of milk. The coffee had a rich robust smooth flavor. The owner was pleasant and polite. She went out of her way to make sure the coffee was fresh and how I liked it. The shop is cozy and comfortable. Spent 30 minutes sipping my coffee and reading my book. Enjoying the tranquility and warmth of the place.
First time visiting Sip & Sit with me and I'm very glad I did. The owner and her mother were very warm and welcoming. They have a great selection of flavors to choose from. My lavender vanilla latte was an absolute delight! I definitely recommend this spot to be added to anyone's must try coffee list:)

I haven't visited Sit & Sip in a while, mostly because I live pretty far away, but they truly never disappoint! It's one of those cozy little coffee spots that feels like they somehow read your mind and fill your cup with a beautiful start to the day. The coffee is amazing, the customer service is exceptional, and the energy is even better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's such a warm, cozy place to relax, hang out, or even get some work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every visit is worth the drive! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is very warm and cozy vibes, there's no WiFi so it had a more traditional / socialize coffee shop feel I appreciated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee itself was pretty good, I feel like it's my fault I didn't enjoy too much because of the flavor combinations I picked or whether it was just the quality of the syrups. The coffee flavor itself was good though and I will be coming back to try something simple or different flavors to really test this place out. read more

I don't know if you want to call it a mere coincidence or divine intervention/blessing, but 2 days ago I reached out to my sister from San Antonio asking her the name of this amazing coffee shop we spent the afternoon at, when I visited her last year and BOOM as I was cleaning up tonight I found the business card. We went in for a quick cafecito and ended up spending a couple hours chatting it up with Marta. She had such a beautiful light about her, the space felt homey and inviting and coffee was great! Unprompted, I promised her I would write a genuine review about my experience but with the hustle and bustle of life and travel back home (NYC) it slipped my mind. A year later, I still think about this place! I can't wait to go back, support and have my cup filled in more ways than one. I'm so glad people recognize the love she has put behind this gem of a coffee shop and hope it continues to thrive. Until my next trip to SA... I'll be seeing you "Sip and Sit with me"! read more

Loved my stop and Sip and Sit have been awaiting its opening, I was ecstatic to have a small coffee shop opening on the Southside! They did not disappoint my latte was delicious. This place is darling! The owner is the sweetest and so welcoming. It's in the perfect spot to grab a coffee before or after visiting the Mission. Plenty of spaces to work and a nice and calming space to hangout in. I have a white chocolate latte and it was very good! Thrilled to have found this gem! read more

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a cheerful, welcoming smile. The owner Marta introduced herself as she was giving me a bit of detail about the place. While she was making my latte, she started telling me about her vision of the shop and said she really just wanted a place for people to come and visit, feel at home, and maybe even make a new friend. She's steered away from having things such as WiFi for that exact reason which I think is so refreshing in a world where everyone lives on their phones. The point of the place is all in the name and she's succeeded!! She served me an extremely affordable coffee. I asked her why it was so cheap compared to everyone else and didn't lack on the flavor if not exceeded that of the big box stores ... she said she wanted everyone to be able to afford a good cup of coffee. From the few minutes I had with her, the genuineness of her and her heart showed. The place is so cute and I knew I found my new home. I had been so busy that it took me a couple weeks to go back... when I did, Marta greeted me again but this time said "Hey Taryn!!" I was floored she remembered my name. People and places like this don't come around everyday and I hope everyone makes it a point if in the neighborhood to stop in, say hello, and make a friend. You'll enjoy every moment. I visited this spot for the first time today and let me tell you, this is the coziest and friendliest coffee shop on this side of town! The owners were warm and welcoming and even offered free snacks to go with the coffee. There's plenty of tables to "sit and sip" at (sorry, I had to ), and the decor is so cute and tasteful. Most importantly, the coffee is very good- and this is coming from someone who is particular about coffee quality. Lol. Give this place a visit, you won't regret it! read more

This place is great! Met the owner on my first visit. She was very hospitable and welcoming. My caramel iced latte was very good. The place felt welcoming, there was plenty natural light, which I appreciated. This is a nice place to converse and learn about others. I initially went to grab a coffee while I waited for my salon to open. Which was only supposed to be 30 minutes. I wound up staying over an hour. read more
