I visited Dr. Price for what felt like a potentially acute situation (uncharacteristic headaches,…read moredizziness unrelated to an injury), and her office was able to see me within days (a generic appointment might take months to set up). I was seen 20 min before my appointment and her assistant Jennifer was comprehensive and professional and thoughtful setting me up well to visit with Price. Price was the consummate professional healthcare provider in an old-school sort of way. Calm, collected, compassionate, engaged, engageable, professional, considerate. She is a deep and patient listener and willing to share her own personal perspectives (with modesty) as she fine tunes her focus on me and my needs. (I deeply appreciate the easy-going, good-natured give and take.) She took her time to develop her understanding of my condition through conversation and physical exam to rule out stroke and other possibilities. Her easy-going, relationship-building approach was so reminiscent of how doctors used to behave--how doctors used to interact. I was, frankly, blown away by her humanity as I haven't seen that high a level of quality care for a long while. She sensed instantly that I am a collaborative sort of patient who shares in the health care examination process by providing broad and specific information and even propose hypotheses. As if right on cue, she took all those data and fielded them deftly, providing insights and perspectives and leading to a diagnosis that felt on target. Rarely do I find a doctor who is so openly willing to share in the healthcare process with their patients. Dr. Price is every bit that rare doctor who is exclusively there for her patients' well-being. As I departed, I asked if she was accepting new patients, and essentially she told me she was full. I am already set up to start with another doctor in the coming months (also very well-regarded), but will try to squeeze my way into be becoming Dr. Price's newest patient as she is essentially everything one could hope for in a PCP.

Dr. Erin Burgess is easy to talk to and really cares about her clients. She sees you as a person, not a dollar sign. She does not run in and out in 5 minutes. She listens attentively to what you say. I have been here in Prescott for decades and this is the most competent, comprehensive medical care I have ever received. She solved my chronic medical problems in 3 months! Chronic no more, I have my health back and am pain free, with NO meds. I will never leave. BTW I am 69.

Billing is horrible. I was seen on May 11th, it's now June 9th, and nothing has been billed to my Insurance. I called office, and was told the claim was sent. I called my Insurance they said nothing has been received. I then wrote an email to the office, and was sent a copy of some fax as "proof" that they sent my claims. However, the fax does not has the name or phone number to whom it was sent. It only says "claims", and my info. LOL. What a joke. Needless to say I was told in the email to contact my Insurance again, so I did, still nothing. Gaslighting at it's finest or they sent it to the wrong place. LOL. I was also waiting on a referral. In that same email I was told that they faxed the referral to said doctor. I called that doctors office, and they do not have any referral from this office. Again, I was told by the office staff that it was sent on May 18th via fax, if that were true then the doctor's office would have it. Maybe they faxed it, but not to the right place. That's what you get when you have one person doing multiple jobs. The front desk lady is also the medical assistant. It's no wonder this is a mess!

I was then told I would have to return for my physical after I did my testing and bloodwork which I also did. When I returned I had my physical paid a copay and all seemed well. The following year I went back for my physical and again had a copay which I paid that day. I went for testing bloodwork etc... then About a month ago I received a bill. I was confused on what I owed so I called the number on the bill multiple times and never received a call back I also called the office and they took messages for billing. Finally I received a call stating that I was paying for something from almost a year ago! I don't remember any outstanding bills being mentioned when I visited before?!? I have decided to move myself to a place that doesn't have an extra fee to establish and then has a mixed up billing system run by people who won't communicate. I have excellent insurance and have always paid my bills on time. The practice seems ok, nothing special but the billing system is very concerning as well as the extra fee. I didn't see that I received any type of special service that warranted an extra fee.

I called the clinic right after they opened at 8 am, but it went straight to voicemail. I left a message asking them to call me back. I called again later, but it went to voicemail once more. There is no option to reach a person directly. Finally, at 2 pm that day, I received a call back, but by then, I had already seen a doctor at another clinic. The billing department is just as frustrating. Calls go straight to voicemail, and they say it will take 48 hours to get back to me. Every time they call back, I am at work and miss their call. They only bother to call once and leave a voicemail asking me to call them back. I've been playing this game for two months. I provided my insurance in he clinic but instead, they billed me the full amount as if I didn't have insurance... I would not recommend this clinic. They do not care about their patients.

When I called for clarification, I was bounced around, spoken to unprofessionally (a billing rep answered while chewing and saying he was "on lunch"), and never received a straight answer. I specifically asked for a detailed voicemail so I would have documentation, but instead I was told there was "no point " to leave one. Zachary even replied to my Google review stating they'd leave a detailed message, but that did not happen. For the record, the office has three of my voicemails with my phone number, and Zachary is welcome to contact me directly. All I have asked for is something in writing that explains why I was told I was in-network when I was not, and what exactly the $200 charge for a 20-minute consult covers. To date, I have received no transparency or professionalism. Patients deserve better.
