Omg Brenna!! So great, so cute, so thorough! Bought the Groupon for 4 brazillians and had my first treatment with them today which was a maintenance brazillian for me. I'm a sissy and we tried sugaring for the first few pulls... Im used to wax and I didn't like it so we switched to wax and strips. The sugar kinda hurt going on, and of course it hurts coming off! Brenna was super sweet about it ("Girl, it's your vagina, we'll do what you want!"). She had a great technique and knew her stuff. She switched between strips and hard wax with ease. Im a weirdo and am always curious to see exactly what they pull off of me and after one pull with the hard wax, she held it up and and said "Look! I made a mold of your vagina!" I thought it was hilarious.... When someone's up in your biz inflicting pain for 30 mins or so, a little humor goes a long way. :) She educated me on the difference between sugaring and waxing... I'm gonna mentally prep myself for sugaring next time. I'm already booked. I'll be bummed if you all make a run on appointments with Brenna and make it harder for me to schedule my next appointments, but YOU won't be sad. She's great! I had the pleasure of meeting Brenna in May while she was doing the makeup of the bridal party for my younger sisters wedding. As we talked she mentioned she did lashes and lived in Bremerton. Two things I never would have imagined going together. I too live on Btown- and a quick search of my Yelp reviews- you will find I AM obsessed with lashes. I've had them since 2009 and refuse - I mean refuse to go without. Fast forward a month or so- and was in desperate need of some lashes. I couldn't find her card and was dejected I'd have to go over to Seattle once again for lashes. Enter Yelp- and someone had helped her- it was destiny- we were meant to work together. She is easy to schedule with (texting) and easy to communicate with. She works out of her adorable home- which I appreciate because it keeps overhead down and prices seriously break your arm reasonable. She has a lot of lashes to choose from depending on what you are trying to achieve. My precious lashes all fell out and had uncovered baby tiny stubby no existent pathetic lashes- like seriously my 17 month old has better lashes!!! Brenna worked with me to achieve the perfect length, fullness and curl. I am thoroughly impressed with her work!! We talked the whole time and time seemed to fly by. She was super attentive to my needs ( I'm 8 months pregnant and super uncomfortable to lay in the same position). When I sat up my eyes once again looked like I just stepped off a mascara commercial!! my lashes looked AMAZBALLS!!! For me I have found my lash lady. She is local, sweet, affordable and is wonderful at her craft. She was recently hired at Penelope's at The Fairmont- and although she won't be working from home everyday- she'll Still be available depending on her schedule. If you have ever considered getting lashes, need a fill, what are you waiting for?!?!? Call this girl!! You will NOT be disappointed!!! Brenna is absolutely the best! I was looking for a place close to home for eyelash extensions and found Brenna here on yelp. She exceeded all expectations and is just the sweetest, most genuine person I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with! I was able to book with Brenna though text message and she was able to determine what type of facial I would need by asking meaningful questions. I have tons of food allergies, so she even took the time to go through the ingredients in her products before setting my Perfect Facial up. Even while talking with her throughout my facial, I felt so relaxed and comfortable. Brenna explained what she was doing during the process as well. Her Arcona products are also heaven on your face! I purchased 2 products from her, and she let me know that if I didn't like them, I could text her to return them. I ended up having a reaction to the lotion (one of the ingredients was almond oil), so she gladly replaced it with another moisturizer. My eyelashes are just gorgeous because of her! I admit, I already have longer lashes than most, but now I feel like I don't want to go without them! She has great attention to detail. My mom previously had her lashes done on a regular basis at an unqualified salon in Hawaii, and since she was in town and wanted a full set, I took her in also. Brenna was excellent! This was one of the most comfortable, painless Brazilians I've ever had. I got a sugar Brazilian and it was amazingly painless. I mean, no Brazilian is painless, but this was pretty dang close. Plus, I have sensitive skin that usually looks like a plucked chicken by the end of a wax, and the sugar was so gentle that I was barely red and not at all swollen by the end! Brenna was also expert at removing ingrowns painlessly and with as little damage as possible (TMI, perhaps, but the woman is skilled!). I was not put in any awkward or embarrassing positions, and Brenna is super sanitary in her technique, I felt comfortable and well taken care of the whole time! In addition to being great at what she does, Brenna is a super nice person and I found myself chattering away like we were old friends within minutes of meeting her! I will be back in 6 weeks! As I've said in a previous review Brazilian sugaring is not a glamorous job. However Brenna makes you feel comfortable and at ease with conversation so you nearly forget you getting hair removed in the first place! Brenna did a wonderful job on the makeup for myself, my bridesmaid, and my mom on my wedding day.
