Yet another Ulta visit! I try to go to as many different locations as I can as I was on a health and beauty quest to try out different brands that places such as Sephora has. I got a shampoo here I have been very pleased with as I feel like it leaves my scalp clean and exfoliated. The name of the shampoo I purchased was Briogeo and it was a scalp revival type of shampoo with coconut oil and charcoal. I have really been enjoying using it in the mornings or whenever the need arises for a shampoo in the last few weeks. I was very pleased with my purchase here and enjoyed this brand very much. This Ulta store is about like any other but I did like the item availability a bit more. read more

I love ulta, and the employees are nice. However, the store set up is atrocious. Absolutely no way is it ADA accessible in majority aisles. You can barely get a body through, it would be impossible to get a stroller or wheelchair down most aisles. This needs to be rectified immediately. It appears they're more concerned about making the store an inescapable labyrinth for thieves rather than a pleasant place for customers to shop. read more

Casey took time to make my little one warm up before starting the process and was great overall. I enjoyed the process, as well as my toddler did too. 2 stars are for the 2 ladies that helped me. They were wonderful! This review is for Ulta management to beware of the interaction I had at their store tonight. There is 1 employee at this store who is useless! She is an older woman with an accent, dark hair working on 6/11/25 at 6pm. Wearing bright orange and turquoise clothing. Did not see her name tag. When a customer asks a question about a specific product that we were standing right next to. Her response was not helpful at all. She did not even attempt to help me find it. Her response was "yeah if it's here it will be there" and walked away. So I was on my own and what I wanted was locked up and she didn't even offer to find it or get it out for me so I had to find someone else to get the product out for me. Why does she work there? I've never been shocked like this at Ulta, all the ladies I've been approached by have always been so nice and helpful and told me to let them know if I needed anything. So this interaction was not what I expected. If only I had been mystery shopping at this store, she would have failed for this store. She shouldn't be working in a store where customers need assistance because how are customers to get the products? How was I going to get the perfume out of Ultas locked case? It was just a bad experience and I was done after this. I just purchased what I had in hand and left mad enough to write this review! This location always has an event going on, and their staff are friendly, and helpful. My withds and I have been going to them to get our Hair done. My daughter and I have curly 3A & 3C type and see Bri. While my youngest son has straighter hair goes goes to see Jackson. Always end up coming out loving their work and with no problems. All the other staff in the hair stylist department are super nice and do their best for their customers to leave with a smile on their face. read more

While the products are far too expensive (the mark up on cosmetics is ridiculous), the space is bright and well organized, and products well stocked. Best of all, there was a saleswoman who made the exorbitant costs worth it, as she was one of the loveliest humans I have ever encountered. I believe her name was Cherylann, and she was honestly just human sunshine. She helped guide me towards the best products, helped me test them on my skin, and was complimentary throughout the process, easily offering affirmation of my make-up choices and complexion. I might go shopping at this location more often just for the self-esteem bump :) Seriously though, if you are going to spend ridiculous amounts of money on cosmetics and skin care, I recommend doing it in an atmosphere that provides stellar customer service. I've hesitated to post this, but customers deserve to know. My brow experiences at Ulta Silverdale WA have been disappointing. During my first visit, I was told I could preview the tint before it was applied--but that didn't happen. It wasn't what I expected, but I stayed polite and gave it a chance. It eventually looked okay, so I returned months later. Unfortunately, the second visit was worse. When I brought up my past concerns, the response from Cassandra felt passive-aggressive. After the service, one brow looked uneven. I asked if Cassandra can take a look at it again but was told to call the manager the next day instead. When I did, I was told there was nothing they could do and to go elsewhere. I understand things don't always go perfectly, but I expected better follow-up and customer care. Am actually so grateful that I found a better place to have my brow done, so much better customer service! read more

The last two visits to Ulta Beauty in Silverdale were beyond frustrating, and they have lost my business. As a "Loyalty Customer", you earn points on your Ulta purchases, receive coupons via email, and get a special birthday gift during your birthday month. I was so excited to use my birthday gift coupon that I had planned my trip knowing there were things I needed (foundation, mascara, moisturizer). After spending a lot of time picking exactly what I wanted (the clerks in the high end makeup were very helpful), I proceeded to the checkout. What a disappointment! Not only were the birthday gifts "out of stock" (Retail 101-offer something else instead), but they would not honor my coupon. I left everything on the counter and walked out. I decided to give them another shot this past weekend. I had bought a foundation that was not right for me, and my daughter told me that Ulta has a policy "if you don't like it, bring it back and exchange it". So again, after spending a lot of time picking out what I wanted (Note- No-one offered to help me) , along with four other items, I went to the checkout and told them I wanted to exchange the foundation, and purchase my other items. I did not have the receipt, and they were unable to look it up in my "Loyalty" account, so I was to receive $.01 for my $50 foundation. I expressed how incredibly wrong that is, and was told I would receive whatever the last customer that bought the same item paid. Since they used their "points" to buy it, I get one penny back. I again told the cashier (who was the manager) how unfair that is, and that this was the 2nd time in a row I had a bad experience at this store, and she did not care. I left my other items on the counter, picked up my foundation that I will not use, and left the store as an Ex-Ulta customer. read more

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER ! I usually hate going into Ulta because I feel like they never help me out or they're super busy and get annoyed! I always want to try new products but can never get someone's attention to help me. My skin is not white and I have all of skin. I am not a makeup guru but a mother that works at a medical clinic all day and has been wearing a mask for over 10 hours each day for the past two + years. For the first time ever I had the best experience! He is a super tall gentleman with curly hair and an amazing attitude! I feel terrible since I forgot his name. But he took the time out of his day to find everything for me. I was starting from scratch since all the make up that I had is great quality and very expensive but completely whitens me out and pictures. I truly needed an expert's help and time as well. This amazing guy was my guardian angel today in the makeup world! He was truly a natural this is totally his element! He found me an entire new look. From brand new concealer, contour, bronzer, eyeliner, mascara ,eyeshadow, lip liner, lipstick..... price was not a problem . There was no limit on my expenses. I got a new face lotion, toner and scrub since the weather is drying me out . But the awesome gent even picked out a new brush set for me since I was using random brushes from elf, and a culmination of old brushes that I have just been keeping and of course not using correctly. I did a simple look since I was just taking pictures in the beach and just had to throw makeup on quickly and was shocked to see that the makeup selected worked so well ! The good: the selection is ok. For basic items it will do. Definitely not the selection Sephora has. It's usually clean with friendly front desk associates. The salon employees are always so friendly and helpful, they also laugh a lot and seem to love their jobs. The bad: usually there are sales associates wondering around asking if they can help. Today there were so many employees standing and talking to each other, not concerned about the customers. One associate today (Thursday, 12OCT) who was wearing an all pink dress was standing/blocking an isle up near the front by Hourglass, complaining how much she didn't want to be at work to another employee. I had to intervene after a bit to ask a question. Super disappointed in the amount of employees with seemingly nothing to do but chat to each other. You can't get a foundation sample like you can at Sephora. Stops me from buying a lot from Ulta. read more

I have been coming here for years and try to use the same 2-3 stylists but let's face it, we are all busy and our schedules don't always gel. Having said that, I don't "no show" or cancel last minute out of common courtesy. I had a haircut appointment I made a month ago with one of my regular stylists and showed up ten minutes prior. I was told by the facial aesthetician that my stylist had called me to cancel, did I not get the message? No, I sure didn't or I wouldn't have driven straight there after work. Then the stylist who "could've" cut my hair curtly tells me "I can't take you today". Apparently regular stylist arranged something with this other stylist but I was supposed to call back and confirm the arrangement. When I asked when I was notified of all this I was told "about 30 minutes ago?" I check my phone, no voicemail, no missed calls, nothing. Not to mention 30 minutes ago I was hurrying to my appointment from work. That is some last minute arranging and really unfair to a client to waste gas and time to drive into Silverdale with little notice or chance to confirm some other arrangement. Plus the other stylist seemed pretty smug about not being able to take me (she was my old stylist who acted aloof towards me when I used another stylist because she was never available so I stopped using her ). They were busy with a customer that brought their dog inside the store. Was standing in the same place trying to get help to see if item is in stock. My relative had to get someone to help me. I always get my brows done here with Apple. I have never had anyone do my eyebrows as good as Apple. She does one eyebrow at a time and also does a little bit at a time. She makes sure to show you what your brow looks like after everything she does to make sure it's up to your likings. Everyone else that I have gotten my brows done with has never done this before. Apple can do multiple things rather than just waxing and shaping the brow, she gives great suggestions on makeup for brows and how to use them. Even if you have light brows, Apple is able to tint them for you. She has done this to my sister and her eyebrows have never looked so much fuller. I always recommend people to get their brows done with Apple, she is an experience like no other! read more

I was excited to walk around and explore the store as I usually do when I visit a store for the first time. At first I was greeted with a smile but then started getting very uncomfortable as I was being followed by one of the store employees. For reference, I'm brown and she was white. Ulta as a company is great. Who doesn't love a one stop beauty shop? I've scored some products at amazing prices because Ulta always runs great promos and their rewards program is so generous. If I had to compare my experience with other Ulta locations I'd say this one is 'meh' but I don't blame them. The next Ulta is about an hour or a little more away. It's understandable why stock would fly off of their shelves and they'd have a lot of foot traffic. It's just difficult to utilize such a great rewards program when you don't always have the product you were looking for in stock. I realize that you can order things online but that's not always as convenient as buying a product in store. This location has typically been clean and shopable during any of my stops in. Their employees are also willing to answer your questions and are helpful and friendly. read more

WOW just encountered the most rude employee by far. Ulta, the place you go to test different products to match your skin tone or select a scent you like. Anyways, it's Saturday at 3pm and it's packed for this location to begin with. Of course no one has asked if I need help or even greets me walking in but the first interaction I have with an employee is her abruptly coming up to me and stating "THATS NOT A TESTER, YOU CANT TEST THOSE" and proceeds to snatching the product out of my hand. Then goes on to say "now I have to take this to the front with the rest of the defect items" and storms off. I make a face and don't even get to respond or see her name which I wish I did (she has orange-ish brown hair, older lady). WELL EXCUSE ME, maybe if you were actually assisting customers rather than snatching stuff out of their hand I would of known. After all every other product in the store is a tester. I am BEYOND irritated and frustrated with the lack of customer service at the Silverdale-Trails location. I scheduled an appointment 6 weeks ago for my regular brow services (appointment scheduled for today, 2/11/23). I received two automated text messages this week reminding me of my appointment. You can imagine my surprise when I arrived, only to be told that Ashley no longer works there and that "they thought they had cancelled all of her appointments" and that they are unable to provide me any services until WAY later today...which does not work for me (I stayed behind from a family function to attend my appointment). First off this place does not live up to their yelp reputation. I really enjoy coming here because every time I do I always get helped. Everyone here is super nice. I come to this ulta frequently! Everyone is always super nice and extremely helpful. Today while looking for a moisturizer, Mariah approached me to help. She was able to tell me my skin type immediately and lead me to a great one that she had been using. I was about to leave when she started telling me about their salon services. As many times as I've been to this store and I had no information about this part. I got a 30 minute facial, during which, she explained everything super well and could tell me my problem areas and how I could treat them.
