Cakalicious came through and did an amazing job on this custom cake. They were able to replicate 100% off the reference I provided and deliver right to my doorstep. Amazing work!!

There were 4 silhouettes on the cake and shooting stars on top.

I ordered a cake here for my 17th year old daughter's birthday party. I was a bit worried because the website doesn't have a phone #, the address and phone were sent via email after the payment and confirmation. They also don't answer the phone and I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. So for that I would take 2 stars off. However the cake was yummy, my daughter picked red velvet flavor and Studio 54 design, and it fed more than 30 people. We asked for 30 people size. It looked better in real life than the picture I posted and there were no leftovers. So the customer service needs improvement but the end product deserves 5 stars.

    Ingrid did an awesome job

Just want to start off by saying it was awesome. I had a Sesame Street theme party( everyone loved. I looked through instagram, Facebook, yelp, google, etc everything and this is the choice that I picked BLUSH CAKERY. My baby Selah turned 1 she has so many more birthday cakes to come so this is where I will be getting all of her cakes. I'm 27 years old I'm used to being the baby of the family and I always get the cake. I never needed to order a cake in my life . But for being the first time , I don't regret it .

Them was Birthday & Navy orders to California.

I just want to say I love you guys!! I was planing a farewell & birthday surprise for my boyfriend who had orders for the Navy. They are very professional, amazing at their job. When I gave Ingrid (cake master) my ideas of what I want, the outcome was far more fantastic then in my head. I will use y'all again :) thank you!

a dozen cupcakes in a box

Great customer service and delicious cupcakes. Prompt response once I submitted my order via email. I was able to further explain what I wanted and that's exactly what I received. I had my order delivered for extra charge and it arrived on time. The cupcakes cost $4.50 but with the fees and delivery it was almost double the price but worth it. The birthday boy and myself really enjoyed them.

We stumbled upon this placed a couple months ago a decided to give them a try for my mother in laws 60th birthday. We did not regret it. The cake came out beautiful and exactly how we designed it. We've had nothing but compliments from every guest. Also, both the cake, filling and fondant were very delicious. We got strawberry filling on one layer and pineapple on the other. The colors were on point and the baker, Ingrid, was very friendly. We ended up swiping the box sometime before the party so a few pearls got knocked off. But it was still beautiful nonetheless. I would definitely recommend them for any occassion.

I found a deal on groupon and decided to try them out for my daughters 8th birthday. I am very picky and very anal when it comes to presentation and customer service. I emailed a few examples of how I kind of wanted the cake and they were very confident from the start. When I called to place my order I spoke with Drew. He is very professional and we spoke like we've already met! He was awesome. He asked me around what time will I be there to pick up the cake that Saturday. I told him "around 12:30 right before you close" (business hours for Saturday's are listed to end at 1PM) This is when it went a little left field... I was unaware and was never explained that when picking up your order, it was an APPOINTMENT. I had a family member drive from the Bronx to Brooklyn to pick up the order about 30 mins early and when he got there it was a private house, not an actual bakery. Made several attempts to call the business and no one responded. Drew pulled up in his car about 12:25 to go inside of the house to get the cake. *** please just be aware that this business is inside of a private house in the basement and when picking up cakes on Saturdays, it's by appointment only!!!! I honestly was caught off guard by the inconvenience and was beginning to feel pessimistic about the cake Welllll let me tell you that the cake was AWESOME! Not only did it look good, but it tasted even better! All of my aggravation immediately disappeared! Everyone was asking where did I order It from and telling me how beautiful it was! I got the vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling. Excellent! Drew also emailed me telling me i will get 15% off of my next order for the inconvenience and miscommunication. Excellent customer service even under the circumstances. Will be ordering again! Prices are great too!

Cake on the table. Loved it.

The cake came out wonderful and very nice. I loved the turn out. Only complaint was that the fondant was too thick and all my guests complained about it. Under the fondant was a very delicious tasting cake. The owner was great and the price was so very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

Exactly what I envisioned . Music Bday cake.. Top red velvet and bottom carrot cake.

Awesome! Awesome!  Awesome!  Not only was the cake beautiful and delicious,  Drew and Ingrid are amazing!  After I picked up my cake and took it home, it had an accident. I was hysterical, and hysterically crying. Although they were closed,  they returned my call and told me they will do there best to fix  it. Needless to say, it was like new. Truly kind hearted people. I definitely will be using them for my wedding and any other event. Thanx Cakalicious Xoxo Liz

This man is sooooo talented. When he said "yeah your cake is going to look exactly like the photo" I wasn't sure. Sure enough it looked exactly like the photo. Drew is so nice too! He's been doing this for 8 years and I can't wait to send all of my friends to him.

We ordered one strawberry and one strawberry banana crêpe. They were filled with strawberries and bananas, and the outside was drizzled with glorious Nutella, which is a hazelnut chocolate sauce . The texture of the crêpes were absolutely perfect and that was the part I was most craving. I also loved the Nutella part. The banana and strawberry not so much as to me that didn't really have much of a taste, but maybe that was because the rest of it was super flavorful and over powered the fruit. All good and definitely satisfied my crêpe craving, but next time I would stop by to enjoy their desserts in person. The Kunafa looks particularly wonderful and has definitely peaked my curiosity.

Having a dessert spot in the neighborhood that is open late night and is serving flavors of our culture is nothing short of a dream come true. Not so great for my weight loss goals, though haha. Thank you, Moose. I came in here, and the place was absolutely buzzing, with groups of people enjoying their late night desserts- a testament to how much we needed this spot to just open and thrive and exist. I don't personally like cream Kenafa so I haven't really tried anything off their menu yet, but the Dubai chocolate crêpe is really calling out my name, and I am just going to bite the bullet and try it one of these days. I did go in to sample their Dubai chocolate. As a chocoholic, I am on a low-key search for the best Dubai chocolate bar in the city. This bar did not disappoint. The filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. However, I do feel that there is an over balance of crispy kanafa in the filling. I think it could use more pistachio cream and be a little on the runnier side. Can't wait to come back and try that crêpe. Until I am able to make that trip back, do stop in and enjoy a sweet treat in this cute little dessert shop. It's also Palestinian owned so you know you are supporting the right people and the right cause while satisfying that sweet tooth craving. What more could a customer ask for?

Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

It was a bit warm at our table, and the friendly staff moved us to a cooler area. To drink, I ordered the Wolf's Fang for $18, a blend of rums, falernum, arak, passionfruit, orange, and oat milk. As described, it was their take on a milk punch, and wasn't too sweet with a bright hint of citrus. I would recommend it. The hummus was good, being thick with a strong tahini flavor, though I have preferred others. Outside of the hummus, the daily salatim included a mix of mostly pickled items. First, there was some pickled cauliflower and carrots with a bit of turmeric. The second salatim was a more unique and spicier pineapple slaw, which was refreshing, and had some herbal flavor from parsley or something similar. The third was a cabbage slaw, which was alright, as I found it a bit too lightly seasoned. The last was a mix of cucumbers, olives, and other pickles, which was standard and tasty. Alongside all of this, the pita was warm and fresh, and the staff refilled everything when we asked. For the main course, I chose the Steak Shashlik, which they spell as shishlik, for $46, which came with tahini and some pickled onions. The steak was tender and well seasoned, and the tahini added a distinctive nuttiness. I especially enjoyed making a mini sandwich with the steak, tahini, pineapple pickle, and pita. Others at the table ordered the Spicy Lamb Kofta and other shashlik options, including Chicken and Trout. In terms of sides, someone got the $15 Fries with tahina ketchup, which they enjoyed. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal, with no one ordering dessert as a few walked over to the tasty Bertoni Gelato nearby. This place is a tad expensive, but I wouldn't mind going back. Even as a fan of pickles, I wish the salatim were a bit more varied, such as including an eggplant or bean-based mezze. I presume the dinner version is a bit more varied, as there are many more salatim, but they should put a bit more effort into the lunch one as well.

We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste.
