I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. It is so clear that they use incredibly high-quality ingredients and carefully curate each component, which is exactly why everything comes together in such an elevated way. It was filled with rich, decadent chocolate and a layer of jelly that balanced everything out without making it overly sweet. My significant other hasn't stopped talking about it since! It's just a matter of personal preference. The chocolate chip cookie was excellent--chewy, rich, and exactly what you want from a great bakery cookie. On the other hand we also had the chocolate cookie that was very similar looking to the LU brand, but we didn't like it. To drink I ordered an iced almond milk latte. It can get rowdy depending on the time of day. One issue to bring up is they DO NOT give any coin change back. If your total comes out to $17.50 and you hand over a $20 bill, the register will only give you $2 as the change. Not sure if this is the same policy at their other location but that is plain weird. No sign up regarding that either. That doesn't stop us from throwing a few bucks into the tip jar though.
