They do other types of desserts but admittedly I love the Ring Dings . They are a chocolate lovers feast ! Thick chocolate on the outside cake inside with a bit of cream. The added twist they are sprinkled with cocoa powder on top . They also make vegan versions . The twinkies good too ! The only thing missing was the Hostess packaging ! One other thing they make small pies too both sweet and savory . I took home a steak and cheese pie that can be but in the over or microwaved and it was delicious ! Street parking but pretty much no existent since it's a residential/commercial area and stops right up the block from the B63 .

Whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I try and make a point to grab a cup here. And while I've only been here a couple of times, the staff has been polite, and the coffee has been consistent - the latter being an issue for many shops. Baked doesn't try to be too cool or anything other than what it is. It's an unpretentious bake shop that offers a perfectly chilled cold brew that deserves to be savored with each sip and doesn't break the bank. All of these vendors including Lael are are on the pricey side, $10 to $14+ a slice. But after taking a look at the Lael Cakes website, I just fell in love with the cake designs. These are the most beautiful and wedding cakes I have ever seen. I actually recognized some of the cakes from Martha Stewart Weddings magazine. Emily of Lael Cakes was named one of the top 100 cake designers in the country by Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, and she is probably the only one that specializes in vegan, gluten free, natural and organic wedding cakes. For our tasting, my fiance and I tried 4 flavors of cake and 4 flavors of icing. We thought the pumpkin and chocolate favors were delicious and far better than the vanilla and red velvet flavors. We decided on getting a two tiered cake. The bottom layer will be pumpkin with chocolate icing and the top layer will be chocolate with strawberry basil icing. I had my heart set out on a salted chocolate chip cookie and luckily there were a lot still in stock. A steep price of $6.50 total so it was a splurge and I would really need to crave one again next time. The outdoor indoor seating is adorable. It would be lovely to read a book and a little pastry there to enjoy. Definitely a special occasion spot.
