These cupcakes have had a hold on me since I tried them. I'm still mad I didn't buy more. First of all, yassss sis for doing the thing with your business. The owner was so sweet and friendly when I stumbled upon her shop while in Kings Plaza. The shop is decorated so bright and inviting, love it. I stumbled upon this cupcake shop while I was in Kings Plaza. The store is so cute. It is also black owned so I wanted to show my support. I ordered 2 cupcakes- red velvet and Oreo cookies and cream. WOW! This place is AMAZING!!!! I called them at 6:30pm to see if they could deliver cupcakes to celebrate my daughter landing a new job and they came through! They included a special note that I requested, which was more than sweet of them to do. The cupcakes were delivered just at 7 pm and a BIG hit! The first time I had these were at a Bachelorette party but the icing got smushed (our fault), and my friend accidentally put them in the freezer. After they thawed out we each had a bite of the - strawberry - caramel -oreo - triple chocolate -red velvet - and another I forgot lol. They were good. We ate the whole box. So I ordered 3 flavors today and let me tell you these are the best cupcakes in NYC! The cake flavour in the strawberry and and caramel is so buttery! And the icing is a yummy fresh butter cream just how I like it. (I haven't had the oreo yet) If you like traditional American cake flavor give Dough Girl a try. *I also order 2 oreo cupcakes but one was missing. We went in for cupcakes but the place was empty w flies wondering. I asked the worker"is it good" and she got really nasty and upset that I asked. cupcakes look like they've been sitting out for hours and the worker had no hair cover! with all the icing and cake she had no head cover. My daughter bought me an original red velvet cupcake (she has different red velvet cupcakes) from this colorful and clean business. I really like the fact that the woman that served us is also the owner because as a customer I was able to receive great one-on-one service. Well when I got home and took it out to eat my son asked me for some. I really didn't mean to eat the whole thing. I meant to save him some but it was so good! The shop is clean and well organized. The young lady working there was nice. I brought the chocolate, red velvet and Oreo cookie cupcake. At first I wasn't impressed with the flavors offered. They seemed very simple nothing that I couldn't find in the supermarket but after I tasted them that changed. These aren't supermarket cupcakes. They were pricey but very delicious. They had a small stand at the Brooklyn Childrens Museum on Sunday. I got the oreo cookies n cream and the strawberry cream. Both were delicious. The cake itself was moist and flavorful, unlike other cupcakes I've had which rely on super sweet icing to taste good. I wanted to get some more before I left, but they had closed already. Honestly, the best cup cakes I have every had. I have been a fan since she opened - especially the PB&J cupcake, but every one I have tried is excellent (and I have tried a lot!). When we started panning our wedding they were a no brainer. I had 12 dozen cupcakes of mixed flavors and they went fast! People raved about the cupcakes. I usually go for the banana pudding, but this time I decided to mix it up and try cupcakes. I ordered the vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting and the it was with gluten-free or vegan banana chocolate chip cupcake with frosting. The cupcakes looked beautiful! The vanilla cupcake was okay--the cake was a bit dry and slightly overbaked on top, so overall it was just average, especially for the price. The banana chocolate chip cupcake was much better, and I really enjoyed it. The frosting was good, though personally I didn't think it paired perfectly with the cupcake. One small thing: they put the cupcakes in a bag instead of a box, which I prefer. Overall, this place is worth a visit! I'd recommend trying a cupcake (maybe a different flavor next time) and the banana pudding.
