I purchased a vehicle from this dealer on 7/5/19 but have refrained from posting my review until my attorney stated it was OK to do so. Anthony Petrullo and Royalty Auto Sales Inc. Be on notice, I will be filing suit for (3) times ascertainable loss in accordance with New Jersey UDAP law. The vehicle which Mr Petrullo sold me has various hidden damage which he was aware of but did not disclose and in doing such has violated UDAP law protecting consumers from fraud. I purchased a 2012 Jeep Liberty from Anthony Petrullo which was sold to me on the premise that it was like new, fully inspected, one owner no issues. Well, less then 700 miles out of the gate and a check engine light came on. I will not go into detail of the problems with this Jeep because other problems are likely hidden and my pending suit will disclose all found. Do your homework folks, start with all the deceptive reviews. The Royalty Auto positive reviews are fake. Start with the review by Marissa Petrullo (daughter of Anthony) or Anthony Perona, fictitious, and you will get the picture. Reviews that have no comment or 1 review, 100% fake. If the reviewer has more then one review then look at who they reviewed and you will see the cross review scam. I will also site google being complicit in allowing these fake reviews by non-customers. When I asked Anthony the history of the vehicle I was told it was clean but Anthony said he was having trouble getting a CarFax printed while waiting for my loan approval, but assured me again, it was clean, (I went in fair and trusted him, big mistake) (1) owner when in fact it was in (3) accidents and (2) previous owners. I did not find out the true history until after I had completed my loan and the check was given to Mr Petrullo, and only on 7/12/19 did Mr Petrullo finally produce a Carfax report for me, but still stated it was (1) owner and only a small bumper accident, both statements untrue. One thing that I will give Mr Petrullo credit for is replacing the cracked windshield which was hidden by a large advertising sticker prior to and during the sale. This is a vehicle which I was charged $15,221.00 for but only has a resale value of $8000.00 due to the Carfax accident history which was not disclosed. I am sure Mr Petrullo will rebut claiming he gave me an adjustment on the cost when in fact he sold me a vehicle for $14,005 ($15,221 tax & tags) which has a book value of less then $8000 due to the Carfax history which was not disclosed during sale. The $2000 adjustment was in fact the balance on my trade in of $5500 which Mr Petrullo then sold the same day for another $2500 profit in addition to the $6000 profit on the Jeep. As of 7/24/19 I have not received my tags, registration or the one year warranty (which I found out is a worthless Cars Protection Plus warranty) which was promised upon sale, nor have I been contacted as to the whereabouts of the aforementioned. This dealership sells trucks that are not reliable. I bought the truck and the next day it did not start. It takes months to get a refund on any repairs or car rental that they agree to. Now they are not refunding the extended warranty after the Warranty company has already issued them a check. Stay away! read more

A lot of reviews for used car dealers are either ncredibly horrible or a mixed bag. Rarely is it a glowing pleasant experience... Shopping for a used car around the 80k to 90k range is a scary ordeal. I found this business from the website cargurus and luckily it was only 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge which was kind of important because I was coming from Long Island. When I got out there they had a good assortment of vehicles including suv's , luxury sedans, minivans, and lesser expensive cars. I was shopping only for a Cadillac STS under $9,000 and under 90,000 miles. They had one, but it had been sitting on the lot for 7 months. I'm sure they picked it up at auction and while they weren't very negotiable with the price they were accommodating when I asked for some repairs to be done as well as allowing me to take it to a Cadillac dealership 20 minutes away to get a full diagnostic done on it (on my done of course). My salesman Benny worked with me for about a week to facilitate the sale and overall I'm pretty happy with the service I got. The one thing that disappointed me was even though there was no rush, on the first day after the test drive I was asked, "so you wanna to buy the car today?" These guys are liars. The said my vehicle had a clean history. No accidents. The car fax however said IT WAS INVOLVED IN 3 DIFFERENT ACCIDENTS. They also have no clue what vehicles they have. The guy had no idea of the variousssss issues I pointed out with the vehicle on the lot and "he ( Anthony) said he wasn't aware" or "he didn't notice them". Things such as massive dents on the bed of the truck or chunks of rubber missing from a tire. That tire was also the only tire with the white lettering out so it really stuck out. And they did an absolutely miserable job at cleaning the car. These guys are a glorified chop shop. read more

I have purchased car from them recently by reading multiple reviews and trusted them, Car looked ok at first and did not get it inspected at first because of all other reviews available online, but when I have purchased within 1 week/100 miles it started showing Engine Light. On further diagnosis it was found that Turbo Charger was damaged and needed to be replaced. When I contacted sales people they tried to ignore at first and then suggested to visit the local mechanic. Sales people (Anthony) mentioned that it must be some sensor issue and there is no major issue with the vehicle. I had to spend 3K to replace the turbo and within 1 week of purchase. Suggesting all to take a close look at vehicle and don't trust sales people here at all at any cost. They did not mentioned about any additional warranty on purchase of Used car at the time of sale. I am sure they must be aware of this issue at the time of sale but did not mentioned anywhere while purchase. read more
