My radio stopped working on my 535xi, came to park ave BMW. They charged me for a diagnostic, then told me the CIC was bad and it would cost me close to $5k to replace it and reprogram everything. I asked for a diagnostic report stating what they found so I can figure out how to proceed, they said "oh we don't do that." I then mailed my CIC to a Tech shop in California, they said my CIC was working fine. So now I'm wondering, did Park Ave really do a diagnostic or did they just guess what the problem was and gave me a blanket price to replace everything. So, I'm back where I started. read more

This has to be the worst dealership to ever exist. Not only do they charge over sticker price for the cars but also have terrible customer service. Make promises they don't keep, tell you what you want to hear and once the car is bought, do not keep their promises. I was told when trading in my lease that I didn't have to worry about any extra mileage charges or tire charges then get a bill in the mail a month later. When I call and ask why this is when I was told I didn't have to worry about the old lease, that they would take care of it, I was told that "it wasn't in my paperwork." Also, never received an inspection sticker and it took me 2 weeks to get a hold of someone to explain why to me. There are plenty of other dealerships that provide way better service. I witnessed an employee spray cleaning fluid in the eyes of a customer. She was clearly in pain from the stinging sensation of the cleaning fluid. The employee barely showed emotion. I purchased my vehicle from Park Ave BMW and Park Ave Acura. Park Ave Acura was by far the worst experience, but park ave bmw comes in at a close second. My experience with park ave Acura service & parts should be documented in training manuals about what not to do as a service department. The disorganization is unprofessional, and you can cut the tension in the room with a knife. It seems like they are scared of their management, like little puppies. Very sad that employees are getting abused. It makes the customer experience that much worse, not to mention my car is still messed up. Why doesn't park ave Acura honor the warranty? The experience has been far from good. I started leasing a BMW M2 Competition 2020 back in April 2020. My monthly lease was supposed to be $699 but actually I am paying $775 so it seems like BMW there, Ryan in particular lied to my face. These guys are a waste of your time. I came 2 weeks ago and he quoted me 580 a month with 5600 down but it was too late to pick up the car that day. He told me he would call me but he never did so I came back the following weekend and he told me he doesnt remember ever giving me that quote and follows up with 670 a month with 5600 down. They were lying telling us that they only had one left when I told them they had 5 mulitple times to which they completely ignored. I dont know what kind of games these guys are playing over there, must not want your money haha. Mo you should have taken the deal to pay for a hair transplant. read more

If you are a returning customer and they do not have a demand for your leased vehicle good luck getting a call back. We leased an X3 with Rachel and she was very eager to get us into a CPO vehicle. It seems they have ditched this car on us because they have not reached out at lease end and will not return any voicemails or texts. I am not sure how they treat their high end clients but as for me this is my 3rd and final BMW from Park Ave. If only I could give her zero stars. read more

I placed a deposit on a car that I saw listed online. Sent me pictures of the car with a description. They took my deposit to hold the car. Days later they then told me the car did not check out after inspection. They could not sell it to me because of found issues, not discovered by their original inspection, review, or carfax. This seemed unlikely as the it had a clean carfax, and the price was good. I truly believe that they sold it (or are selling it) for a higher value to someone else. I read another online review where they did this to someone else so this appears to be a practice. Be wary of ethics here. read more

I've emailed them several times about a car could never get a response. So I decided to stop by at the dealership and see if they could help me. They told me to wait they'll and they'll get me a salesman. Which I didn't mind the wait, but the person I was with was looking at cars and three salesman offer to help her. When she directed them towards me and said he'll be the one purchasing the car they walk away. I guess maybe because I look young, idk what it was but it was extremely off putting as I was looking to purchase a six figure vechile. Five minutes later - I was given a quote (Best one I had gotten from all the BMW dealerships around) Put in a credit app over e-mail, sent in documentation via text/e-mail, scheduled delivery, done. That easy. BMW not only gave me a great deal, but also made the process super smooth. I am a business owner and I do not have time to waste. They appreciated my time and my business. My initial experience was definitely full of variables that the typical buyer shouldn't experience. When it became time to get a new lease when my current car was nearing its return date, I was fairly perplexed that I never received a call back. As a result I continued up to rt. 17 and made my purchase at Prestige. For a company that brands its products to be the "ultimate driving machines" I was pretty intrigued how my experiences varied so much between dealerships. My exemplary experience at Prestige BMW made me realize that I didn't necessarily have the best experience at Park Ave BMW. I don't recall there ever being a "genius" help set up our cars (after spending $100k on two cars) and definitely never got an encore. Every department of Park Ave BMW varied so much. My sales advisor was phenomenal and he really made sure I ended up with the car I wanted. Finance was horrible both times around for myself and my family. When It came time for service, our service experiences were great and the service manager really showed that she genuinely cared about customer satisfaction. Purchasing parts on the other hand was an absolute nightmare. On multiple occasions I was left with headaches when I inquired about something as simple as a tire. God forbid you're stranded on the side of the road (like I was). Overall, I would give Park Ave BMW as a whole a C+ average. Passing, but definitely not the top of the class. read more

I purchased a 325i from Park Ave some time ago. Overall, it was a 5 Star experience. More recently, I leased a 2018 i3. Great car - very comfortable and lots of fun to drive. I expected to use Park Ave's EV charging stations, located a short walk from my home, at no cost. Such was the case for six months. Suddenly, last week Park Ave began charging high fees, apparently in an effort to curtail use. BMW's EV charging network is woefully inadequate and unlike Tesla, BMW (i.e., ChargePoint) station pricing and policies are set by each individual owner. Leasing a vehicle expecting EV charging at no cost then imposing high fees six months later plays like a classic bait-and-switch. Very disappointing. read more

Purchased a 2016 CPO X3 on a Monday and picked it up the following day. While driving home, on the highway at 65 MPH, the front end shimmied and vibrated. Since I felt the car was unsafe to drive, I brought the car into their service dept. where they proceeded to do major repairs to the braking system. The service dept. staff was excellent, helpful and apologetic. Apparently the salesperson, Dan, never bothered to have the car inspected and test driven by a mechanic before turning the car over to me. In addition, the car was not cleaned properly and the rims were filthy. This car was not in CPO condition and should not have been sold as such. This was my first and last purchase from Park Avenue. Apparently they don't want or need repeat customers since all I received was a half hearted apology, lots of aggravation, disappointment, and inconvenience. In the past I have purchased four other BMW's from Prestige (now Ramsey BMW) and never had an issue. Unfortunately, they did not have the X3 that I was looking for. read more

We bought our second BMW from Park Ave after a successful purchase 4 years ago but things didn't go so well this time. We bought a certified, preowned x1 that didn't have a sticker displayed in the show room. We asked the salesman if it had leather seats and he said, "Sure!" The day after we brought it home I found the sticker paperwork in the glovebox and it has vinyl seats! The salesman has denied lying, but there is a price difference if at least $1250 between vinyl and leather in a new vehicle, which will impact the resale price when we sell it in a few years. We are very unhappy with the lack of communication and willingness to come to any type of compensation for the dishonesty in selling us this vehicle. read more

Intrigued, I called the dealership, left a voicemail, waited 2 days, replied to the marketing email, no reply. I finally caved in and visited the dealership. When I asked them about the detail of the deal, They told me the email was sent out in error and there's no such deal going on. They made me feel like a fool for wasting my time. If they knew such email was going out in error, they could have followed up with disregard request. If it was their attempt at luring people to their dealership, it's a very lame and dishonest marketing. After this experience, I can no longer regard this dealership as honest and sincere, qualities I look for when dealing with luxury auto dealership. I recently got a warning from traffic police that the registration in this car is not linked to the bmw but to a Chevy car..my registration is due now and I don't want any trouble..called up their office and instead of helping put me on hold and after 5 mins came back and asked me to contact bmw financial services and they can't help and cut the call. I saw a BMW X4 online that looked perfect. I called over and spoke with Victor to see if it was available to test drive and said I would be there at 1:30pm. When I arrived, Victor was ready with the car parked out front for me to inspect and test drive. He was not pushy, he went to bat for me with his manager in negotiating a good price. Super polite and thoughtful about the whole process. He really took care of everything from the purchase of this car to the turn in of my leased jeep, insurance. I walked in on 9/30/16 on my lunch break with no expectations of leasing a car that day. I have been shopping for months, and am a customer that knows how to lease cars. I met with Edward Dandry and he was friendly, funny and professional and found me a car with the specs I was looking for in minutes. We walked right over to the car, checked it out and went back to discuss numbers. He knew I had been around the block and that I knew what I was doing so he didn't waste my time. I gave him a number I was comfortable with, told him how/why I knew the number was competitive and he delivered on it, no nonsense. He gave me the best deal I could find in all of the tri-state area, and we both knew it. We were done negotiating in less than 5 minutes and spent the rest of the time talking, joking and wrapping up the lease. His manager, Mike Smeraglia, was just as nice and professional and gave his blessing on the deal without hesitation. These guys welcome smart and savvy buyers/leasers and do not try to take advantage of their customers. Like true used car salesmen, no consideration for the customer. The car is still there six months later.
