You really don't get how much heat and the AC cold leak thru your windows until you have them all replaced and suddenly you're freezing in your house at a time when it's usually warm/comfortable. And that's my experience as I write this. Bundled up after a nice sunny day with my AC having cooled faster and kept cool longer. Only change? The windows. The BM Windows team installed all of my brand new windows and doors this week. When looking for vendors for this project back in May I looked at 4 or 5 different companies and we ended up deciding on BM Windows. Not gonna lie they were not the most inexpensive, but they had the best communication, presence and price comparison wasn't over the top. Keep in mind mine was a large order, literally the entire house save for 3 windows (bathroom windows) and 1 door (to a balcony). Not gonna lie it took a little while to get the windows in, but that's entirely outside of the company's control given that it's all custom built and it takes however long it takes. Especially these days. Once everything arrives I was called promptly to schedule the install. Doreen was always kind on the phone when I called in a couple of times to ask about any updates. Finally scheduling the install all in one day was a lot but it was a seamles experience. The crew was polite kind and mindful of my baby's nap and worked around it with me. We're thrilled with our new windows and doors and so appreciative of all the support and service we received from the BM Windows team. Especially now that we have an awesome doggy door in the family room that my dog actually uses!! (That door is what started it all and it did not disappoint). After doing some research late last year, I decided on the Anlin Windows and Doors product line to purchase two sliding doors - one on the second floor and the other right below it on the first floor. I contacted the manufacturer and they provided me with two installers in the San Diego area where I live. Both companies were prompt in responding and were competitively priced. After their respective representative's visits, I decided on using BMWindows to purchase from, and install my sliders. This installation occurred in December of 2022 and all went well. . Fast forward to August 2023, when a weakened Hurricane Hilary hit the San Diego area. My house suffered water intrusion that damaged walls, and a ceiling in the direct area of the new sliding glass doors. Naturally, my family thought the cause of the intrusion was related to the new sliding glass doors. When I called BMWindows to report the incident, they immediately sent someone to look at, and review the water damage and its location. Long story short, BMWindows came back and said that the intrusion was not caused by the Anlin sliding doors, nor their installation. I was leery at first; however, BMWindows suggested I hire a water leak detection company and if it were determined that the Anlin doors, or their installation, were indeed the cause, BMWindows would not only make all repairs and replace the doors, but it would also pay for the leak detection company. It turned out that the leak stemmed from roof damage that had occurred prior to the storm. Even when BMWindows was informed of this discovery, the owner, Michael Bohm, offered to send an employee to clean, re-seal (if needed) and reframe the sliding door damage FREE OF CHARGE! Needless to say, I am very impressed with the outstanding service BMWindows has shown me and I will strongly recommend them, not only here, but to all my neighbors, friends and acquaintances who may look to purchase and install new windows and doors. read more

We just had 23 windows installed in a day by BM. 2 crews and they were very professional. We chose BM because I had read reviews that they had great customer service and always honored their work. It's true. During the installation we noticed 2 windows that were supposed to be frosted (bathroom windows), were not frosted. So when we asked the crew they showed us that their order showed that it wasn't. We thought perhaps we had made a mistake. They next day they called to ask about the service we received and so we mentioned the 2 windows. They told us the owner, Michael, would call us back. He did, in 20 minutes, and admitted he had made a mistake on his notes and would reorder and have it fixed. This is the customer service we were looking for. I wanted Anlin Panoramic windows to replace 15 original, single pane windows in my home. I received competitive bids from two, equally professional companies. Neither were pushy. I wanted to do well by Jim Chitlik, my rep from BM, because he took the time to answer questions and respond to statements made by a third window company, who did not carry Anlin. This brand of window sells itself. I wanted the Anlin Sound Package and the 1/4" stainless steel sash bolt for added security. BM Windows includes those options at no extra cost, and their bid came in lower than their competitor's bid. They were able to install the windows sooner than estimated. I was extremely impressed by the two gentlemen who did the actual install - very professional, focused, and expert in their craft. Those two had the stamina to carry the whole job through to completion in one day. They left my home and property spotless. I was surprised to have neighbors trickle by to comment on my gorgeous new windows! That was in early Sept. Since then, we've had one decent rain so far, and the temps have dropped. I had carpets removed and hardwood floors restored at the same time. I wasn't sure how the better insulated windows might offset less-well insulated flooring. I no longer feel cold coming through the windows, nor did I feel heat transfer when we had high 90F temps! My eyes and entire body relax now that the glare has been eliminated. My home is also nice and quiet now. The neighbor's A/C unit is close to my master bedroom window; the Anlin Sound Package cancelled out that sleep-disrupting generator! Random noise from police helicopters is also faint, if not gone all together. BM Windows followed up after the installation - again, that contact was very professional and genuine. No complaints. I also feel peace of mind knowing BM Windows offers a robust, limited lifetime warranty on parts and labor. And from the Anlin Panoramic brochure, these "windows are backed by the most inclusive lifetime warranty in the industry." After having multiple quotes we went along with BM Windows. Now they were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. Jim Chitlik came out to the home and answered all my questions that I had without me having to ask them. This is what sold me apart from the windows being a California company which is always nice to support since we live out here. The process was simple. Once we selected them, I paid the deposit and waited for them to make the windows. Once they were ready a Doreen (sorry if I misspelled it) called and asked to schedule the install on 9-28-19. We scheduled the install for 9-30-19. The install team arrived on time, were very friendly, and finished installing 22 windows in one day. Let me tell you, the windows are beautiful. They replaced single pane windows and we elected windows with the sound reducing panes. When I close the window in my office here at home, it is really quiet. I am quite impressed. I would definitely recommend BM Windows and Jim Chitlik was awesome. He was not pushy at all and just laid out the facts for us. A secondary bonus is that the warranty on these windows will pass on to the next home owner of this house if and when we sell it down the road. read more

Jim was great and offered suggestions that we thought would be an extra charge but included it in their pricing. Upon doin' A LOT of research I decided to go with BM Windows for my home. 5 windows and a slider. I knew/know nothing about window or how much they cost but after doing TON of research and price comparison BM Windows seemed to be the best match for price, timeline and installation. She was very pleasant to speak to on the phone and get me in touch with the salesman "Jim"...and in short I will say Jim imade time to meet w/ me and get me my estimate. After I paid for 1/2 during my meeting with JIm, I didn't really hear from him, but who I did hear from was the owner Mike. Mike is an EXCELLENT owner. Just came back for more. I had patio doors and three large windows replaced a few months ago and they've worked out great. Jim was my sales rep and he got every detail right, plus his suggestion about how to arrange the patio door was pure genius. We used BM Windows to change out all of our windows while converting a window into French Doors as well as swapping the location of a sliding glass door back in 2014. Their price beat anyone around and Michal was great at explaining everything beforehand and everything turned out beautifully. Their stucco work is indistinguishable from the original and the installers were 8ncredibly nice and helpful. We were so impressed and happy with everything that we used them again in 2015 to update our rental's windows before we put it on the market. Again, exceptional work and it definitely helped with the sale and overall price (well worth the investment!). It's been several years now and I have never experienced a company that stands behind their products and workmanship in my entire life. Michal and his entire crew were definitely as good as it gets. From day one, we felt comfortable knowing we had made the right decision going with BM. Their customer service was perfect and April made sure we were up to date with everything. Michal came over to our house for the initial estimate and didn't give us any run-arounds. We decided to get all of our bedrooms done first and after the windows were ready (custom sizing took about 3-4 weeks), Mario and Carlos came to install the 5 windows in about half of a day! So I feel a little bad about leaving a 3 star review but I feel I have good reason. So I had three estimates and all reputable companies. BM sells Anlin windows which after much research is a small off brand manufacturer. The other bids were on name brand higher quality windows called Simonton. The Simonton bids came in 20% less than BM windows. I'm sure BM has good service but It bothers me how they price there windows so high. They estimated $3200 for a French door. That is excessive when my other bids were at $1600. Yes nearly half. Do you research is all I'm saying. read more

Terrible. I called them to schedule someone to come look at re doing all of the windows in my home. I was passed off by a receptionist to "JT". He was helpful and kind, but had very limited availability for when he could come to see the home. After 15 minutes of back and forth, I rearranged MY schedule to accommodate him for today at 12 noon. I called the business to see where they were, and the receptionist shared that she called me multiple times and left messages but since they could not confirm the appt. , they did not show up. I have a very reliable phone and have no voicemails regarding these attempts. I also believe that if you have an appointment, you stick to it. Throughout the years after install, they have always been super responsive and have given me the same level of customer service as when Michel came to our home to measure and give us a quote. Today I called about a screen door latch that broke. Doreen, the office manager was lovely. I took some pics as requested and emailed to her. Within an hour she called me back to inform me that was covered under warranty and would get fixed quickly. This is not a company that installs and then forgets about you.
