We went with Hometime Windows because of their attention to detail and care in answering our questions for the entire process of window replacement. While some of your comments could be warranted and I took many of your concerns into account before my review but, the bottom line here and I would think many others who are concerned about getting gouged everywhere you turn which I absolutely believe is happening starting with the conglomerates, so small business justify in their minds "everything else is going up, I'm gonna get a piece of the it while we can!". The bottom line here is that when you take the price quoted and divide it by the number of blinds required for the job, we will not be spending $536 for EACH blind! Yes, that's five hundred and thirty six dollars for EACH blind in our rental home. Are these made of gold? We were quoted from 7 different companies and the quotes started at approximately as follows: $4900, $5400, $5600, $6400, $7000, $7100 and finally yours at $19,000. I received quotes from several companies and though I had never heard of Hometime Windows and Doors I decided to contact them for a quote as well based on the reviews I read. They had one of the better prices by far and the shortest lead time- but that's not the only reason I chose them. From my first meeting with Jeff Everitt I felt comfortable with the company. Jeff was not a salesman, nor did he push any products on me. We just talked about the products and the selection was made. Jeff made my selection very easy. My dealings with some of the other companies was not as pleasant as this. Then on the day of install - Daniel, Jessie and Carlos were prompt and got right to work. They did an amazing job with replacing our windows - and our windows had a lot of issues. We started this process with Addison Degollado , the Hometime Rep. The property was in need of everything as my grandfather wasn't able to keep up the maintenance. He was also in hospice when we began the process so between emotionally and mentally dealing with that, you can understand why we think so highly of this company. Addison was thoughtful and patient patient (yes twice because and deservingly so) with our questions and concerns as well as helpful in guiding us through the process and the many changes we made on deciding what style of windows to go with. One weekend the poor guy had to draft the contract over and over again because of changes - yet never complained, never showed frustration and these days you can't buy that kind of professionalism. The installers Patrick and Eduardo came in with crew and laid down fabric tarp to make sure nothing was damaged and clean up was efficient. The old ugly windows were taken down and these beautiful ones installed. We had Hometime replace about 25 windows and sliding doors. I like the company, they make and install their own high quality windows and doors and back them up if anything goes wrong. It was a complex project but they worked with us on the details, and made one window in record time when we realized it had accidentally been left out of the project.
